Amazing place for camping! As a newbie in camping, I couldn’t be happier with the place: nice swimming pool, kind staff, great facilities, a beautiful farm, and a lovely pet dog, named Sam, who you can take for a walk and he will show you around! A great place, especially in good weather!

Kids loved this place! We went to the tree climbing park and it was so fun. Also the gardens and animals took our hearts :) North Portugal is amazing!

This educational farm is my favorite place to take visitors of all ages because it's clean, had a variety of experiences, and you can do it at your own pace. I love the extra care and attention that Paivi gives to her ponies and clients when she gives pony rides. She also offers rides into the trails of the wetlands for picnics, and she doed group events, like children's birthday parties either at Pentieiros or at your home. The farm has spaces for camping, and several bungalows for overnight. It's the most important migration point for hundreds of species of birds moving from as far away as South Africa to Sweeden. There is a restaurant and a cafe, gift shop, swimming pools and play areas, and of course, the main attraction, the farm animals and their babies, Sam the cocker spaniel you can take for a walk, and flower, vegetable, and herb gardens where you can purchase plants. It's a quiet, pleasant place for all. See why I keep going back?!?

Stayed on a tent during the weekend with my wife and our 3 months old baby. The space is really nice, there are plenty of spots and a nice view. Unfortunately the staff working on the entrance seemed to be untrained, i saw a plate indicating a baby changer on the accessible toiled and I asked for the key, the employee from the night shift was not sure if it really had a changer and instead of going with me to check, he suggested me to change the baby at the car 🥲

This campsite is not for winter. The sites are not level, the car slips when driving in because there is a swamp all around. The water in the shower is moderately warm, but not hot. the van is dirty and the sign says it cannot be washed. Now for the 12 euros that I spent on the campsite, I still need to go to the car wash. It’s a shame that the municipal government does not allow parking in the city itself. Isn’t that why they are in close collusion with this campsite. Although there is plenty of parking space. It’s a shame that the municipality, which is intended to serve the people, robs them without giving them the opportunity to choose, forcing them to go into the dirt with their own money.

Lovely open grassy pitches. Hot showers and very friendly staff. Cheap too. Only concern was the excessively bright lighting on our tent pitch area (38) it made it difficult to sleep as it was on all night.

Excellent space full of lovely animals and their amazing quirks. Was raining the day I came it would be nice to've a few more shelters along the path. It is also a little confusing that you can't make a complete circle to end the visit and you've to backtrack to the entrance. Loved it otherwise

Nice enough place for an overnight, though if you're tenting, as at the reception if you can choose your own place. There are many sites, 30 or more, yet the receptionist packed all 6 of us in right next to each other, rather then giving us some space in between.
