I purchased a Final Sale dress from FARM Rio, but the experience turned into a complete disappointment due to their own operational mistake.
When I first placed my order, the dress was not shipped at all. It was only sent later after the issue was noticed, which caused a significant delay that was entirely out of my control. During this time, the item went out of stock in all sizes.
Once I finally received the dress, the size did not fit. When I attempted to exchange it, I was told that no exchange was possible because the item was out of stock. In other words, I was left unable to exchange the item due to FARM Rio’s initial shipping error, not because of any delay or mistake on my part.
Despite clearly explaining this, no solution was offered — no store credit, no refund, no reasonable alternative. Instead, I was advised to resell the dress on Poshmark, a platform that charges high commissions. Being told where and how to sell an item as a “solution” to a problem caused by the company itself felt dismissive and unprofessional.
I expected much better customer care from a brand like FARM Rio. Unfortunately, this experience showed a complete lack of accountability and flexibility when their own mistake directly caused the issue. Very disappointing.
