House Rio had some of the most unique and stunning dresses but it was my experience with Alex, a kind honest sales person, that prompted me to write this review. Before I walked into the store I had been in every boutique in the area with sales people who were willing to falsely flatter for a sale. Not Alex. I found beautiful dresses but had yet to find a dress that fit my curves which is typically my struggle with shopping. Alex came to the rescue pulling a dress from the back that will remain one of my favorite pieces. It flattered me and Alex was so authentic and helpful. He didn’t shy away from the fact that I was larger bodied but instead found something I would feel beautiful in. If I could hire him as my personal shopper I would. I will certainly be returning the next time I need something stunning and unique to find Alex, a rare salesman who helped me find a dress I feel truly beautiful in.

I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the ski suits I purchased from Farm Rio. Both mine and my partner's suits ripped along the seams before we even got on the ski lift. A professional seamstress confirmed the poor seam construction, making repairs futile as the issue would likely recur. For suits retailing at $670, this level of quality is unacceptable. While the design and colors are stunning (we’ve received many compliments), the durability and lack of accountability from Farm Rio have been frustrating. Initially, they offered to resolve the issue, but later reversed their decision, leaving us with defective suits and a mere $30 gift card as compensation—which I did not accept out of principle and the huge cost discrepancy. I cannot recommend these suits or the company’s customer service. Save your money and invest in gear from a brand that stands behind its products.

Farm Rio is a rising star brand in women fashion. Now they have 2 stores in upscale shopping 🛍️ areas: the original one in Venice Beach and the newly opened at Melrose Street. The store in Venice Beach is the birth place for the brand.

I came in to exchange the dress my dad bought for a different one I saw online & Alex was super helpful! There were some challenges with the exchange (not their problem at all), but I just really appreciated Alex calm, friendly demeanor while they problem-solved the issue. Staff is just overall great and the clothes are really fun to wear!

Farm Rio is hands down my favorite brand. They truly know how to design for natural curves, and this is one of the only stores where nearly everything I try on fits like it was made for me. Their bold patterns and unique details make every piece feel special, and without fail, I get compliments every time I wear one of their outfits. On top of that, the customer service at this location has always been exceptional.

Lilian was amazing and so helpful! I am so excited to wear the skirt set she helped me find for a summer wedding. Everyone at this FARM Rio is so thoughtful and has great energy. Thank you for a great shopping experience!!

I was hesitant to visit the store because some of the negative reviews I saw online. However, my experience turned out to be really good. The service was great, the staff were charming and helpful, and everything went smoothly. I'm glad I gave it a chance!

I really wanted to like this place but sadly that was not the case. The customer service is extremely lacking. Numerous customers walked in with no greeting while four employees stood over in the corner chatting, pointing and laughing at patrons in the store. Shocking!!! The items in the store are beautiful. I was actually walking in to find a dress similar to the one on display but I quickly changed my mind. No store that employs immature and rude staff will get my money. It's very sad because I'm sure others have either complained or refrained from buying items from this store because of the unkind and unhelpful employees. Do better! It's not a good look!

Rude and bad customer service. I walked in to return a dress that I purchased online cuz it was too tight and thought returning to the store would be way faster.. they refused to take it saying that it was a Final sale item, so they can't accept it back. I told them that it wasn't! It was on sale but was not a final sale item. They didn't want to listen no verify and kept trying to correct me and looked at like I was crazy! They finally told me try processing your return online which I did later and it went through just fine. They need better training and friendlier staff. The Asian manager that was there is not friendly and looked arrogant.

This store is run by con artists. I made a purchase on April 2, returned it on April 8 in store. The woman (believe her name is Kel based on the review below) looked me in the eye and told me my return was all set and to expect a receipt. It's has been almost 20 days since the return. I've send 5 emails, 2 IG DMs and called and left a VM. Their response is that the store doesn't acknowledge the receipt... It's a bummer because their stuff is cute, but unfortunately their customer service is horrendous. If you decide to shop here DO NOT LEAVE THE STORE UNTIL YOU GET THE RECEIPT. No matter if the customer service reps assure you that you'll get it.

Beautiful store on Abbot Kinney I was shopping there several times since I work down the street. Farm Rio has such unique clothes. Loved the brand since I'm familiar with it. Just went over the past reviews for this store and I was shocked what people would say about this store. I went shopping at this store several times. Kel and Mary were always super nice and friendly. Especially Kel was outstanding showing the product and making great suggestions. I was always treated very well. I noticed the store is temporarily closed...hope you're going to be back soon.

I went to farm rio with my family to look for dresses and although there were two people with not the friendliest vibe, There was Beatrice .she was great and so attentive and helpful from when we got there to when we were getting ready to leave .her and her associate at the check out were great .

Love the products and the online store front. The actual store is another story. I rushed over to pick up gifts for the holidays and the store clerk decided to close the store early. Some Brenda looking b*tch looked at me and shook her head no. It wasn't 5 minutes before closing, it was a significant amount of time. I could have dropped a g+ but hey, Brenda had to get to her wine down Wednesday date. Dear management maybe Brenda should be working at Target.
