I can't imagine why this attraction is not more popular in regards to the top things to do in Rhodes because we had such a great time here. We arrived shortly after 10am at the end of the tourist season, and we first entered the lemur enclosure. There was hardly anyone there so my spouse and I had a whole interactive session by ourselves for at least 15 minutes. The lady (sorry, forgot her name) caretaker of the lemurs was so endearing when it comes to her extreme love, care, and dedication to the lemurs. She was very patient explaining everything about lemurs and vowed if the lemurs were not in the mood, she would suspend all interaction for their well-being. And she never gave us the feeling of trying to kick us out (I actually felt bad we were taking so much of her time). She literally has the best job in the world! The food to feed the rest of the animals were a bargain...(watch out the goats will jump at you at the first chance by sensing you have food right away). We were also able to pet ostriches, raccoons, donkeys, camels, farm animals, and the native cats, plus try omelettes and scrambled ostrich eggs at the excellent family-run restaurant. Very unique place. Come here for a half-day of amusement, whether you are young or old. We spent a significant amount of money (€73) to get from Rhodes Old Town and back, but it was worth every euro for the chance to interact with certain animals that couldn't be done elsewhere. The bus stop, too, was still a 15-20 minute walk inland to Farma, perhaps not a good idea in sweltering heat or humidity, so we ended up choosing a prebooked transfer for the convenience.
