Farmers Bistro

Farmers Bistro offers different plates with mushrooms 🍄‍🟫🍄 the highlight is the soup buffet which you can refill as many times you can handle, the bread 🍞 was super fresh and had a lot of variety! I loved it! Staff is friendly and atmosphere cosy! Recommend it! Minus one star because sadly if you like to see the farm and the greenhouse with the mushrooms, you should book ahead of time and be a big group too…

The nicest little place with a very unique menu. We ordered the mushroom buffet, and it was delicious. The other dish we had was the stuffed pepper, and it was absolutely superb. Fresh, juicy, full of flavor. The farm grows its own mushrooms and vegetables, the staff was extremely friendly in a nice casual way. We also ordered mushroom ice cream, and it was delicious. Covered with a layer of honey and nuts, and served in a jar, how beautiful and creative.

We found this place by chance when we were passing through Flúðir and had the most incredible food. I highly recommend getting the mushroom buffet, the soup was simply the best I’ve ever eaten. Plus - it has the cutest border collie right in the entrance to make sure that you immediately fall in love.

A really nice restaurant with focus on home grown delicious mushrooms. Service is good, food excellent and price totally fine. Location is easy incorporated during the golden circle tour :)

A highly recommended venue with an exceptional culinary experience. We opted for the keto burger and the buffet. Buffet The buffet offered a well-curated selection, including two types of bread, three varieties of butter, an assortment of mushroom appetizers, and a flavorful mushroom soup. Every element was thoughtfully prepared and contributed to a delightful meal.

If you love mushrooms you HAVE to go here. The mushroom soup was fantastic!!! I also got the portobello mushroom burger and the lamb wrap, but the soup was the MVP!

This place was delicious. There’s friendly staff who welcome you in, and seat you and they come by in a jiffy! My whole party got the buffet and it was delicious! (around $25 USD per person) For the buffet, they had a variety of mushroom-based sauces, and butters to top your bread, though I didn’t realize the bread was for the soup and I made a sandwich… But the sandwich was still superb nonetheless! I had mushroom butter, butter-thyme marinated mushrooms, a mushroom and bell pepper tapenade and a bell pepper and chili marmalade put inside of the sandwich. Delicious! And for the mushroom soup was so good! I myself am not a huge fan of mushrooms but this made me almost like them! It was so tasty! This restaurant is so good! I 100% recommend! Though I would be wary if you have any mushroom related allergies because this place pretty much serves just mushrooms.
