Farmhouse at Mackworth

Nice looking venue, nice atmosphere, quite pricey for a family meal out. Fish was a nice thick white piece with the fish and chips well cooked. Steak on several meals was cooked nice med/rare, nice flavour but lots of grissle

It was really lovely, we celebrated my daughter’s 24th birthday. The service was perfect, communication was brilliant. There was a very long wait for food. The food was amazing.

A beautiful night, with good quality and flavourful food. The service was just outstanding, our waiter for the evening was Emily, she was absolutely phenomenal she had excellent customer service and ensured everything was perfect for us. We will definitely be visiting again. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, perfect food, outstanding service and an all round great experience guaranteed.

Had a lovely family dinner. Food was lovely and the service was excellent. We were served by Katie and nothing was too much trouble, we were all very impressed. Would definitely recommend and we’ll definitely be going back again.

7 of us had a birthday meal for my daughter. Amazing service food too. Wonderful area we was sat so we could enjoy our chats away from everyone. Our waiter was brilliant he took her birthday cake away to light up and bought back in on a big board plates forks napkins and knife too. We left him a tip. Definitely returning. Thank again!

The atmosphere was really nice as soon as we walked in. We were a bit early for our reservation but the staff seated us right away. The staff were very attentive and lovely. There is a great selection of food and really good looking vegan/vegetarian options as well! Our roasts were fantastic and the tasty desserts rounded off an excellent meal. We will most certainly be back!

Busy but the staff managed to find us a table at short notice. We all had a roast dinner. The slight disappointment was that the roast potatoes had been reheated. Other than that, all was lovely. We Will return.

I had a great visit to the Farmhouse at Mackworth. Staff were friendly and the interior of the restaurant is modern and quirky. Good selection of food on the menu and they have their own pizza oven which is a bonus. Pizzas here are nice but not as good quality as somewhere like Prezzo. I ordered the chicken breast dish cooked in its own juices. This was a good dish but a little on the small side, luckily I ordered a side to go with it. When we went, it was two for one on cocktails which were tasty. Some of the items on the menu, however, were missing ingredients listed on the menu. The pizza said it came with sun dried tomatoes but it didn't and the side of veg said it came with garlic and chilli, instead it was served with chilli and mustard seeds. Overall an enjoyable visit, I would be happy to return and try out some of the different dishes.
