"The Ultimate in Moroccan Pampering Spa lovers will enjoy spending a morning or afternoon getting acquainted with traditional Moroccan bathing and beauty treatments at ahammam. Traditionally, these public bathhouses and steam rooms were where both men and women would go for their weekly ablutions: to be first enveloped in olive oil–based soap infused with herbs, then exfoliated with a specially designed mitt, and finally slathered in a full-body clay mask mixed with rose water (hair washing optional). And while this is still an important part of the local culture, ultra-luxurious variations have crept in, especially at places such asthe Royal Mansour, where you can bask in sensational interiors before forking out $350 for a hammam and massage fit for a king. The pool at La Mamounia’s glamorous hammam is one of the highlights, so allow plenty of time to make use of it before indulging in their luxury Evasion treatment, which includes an orange-infused olive oil scrub and amber-honey facial exfoliation for $130. If you want to try something a bit more local that still feels like a treat—at a fraction of the cost of the above—head for the Bains de Marrakech, which offers great value for what you get. A 45-minute hammam, including a ghassoul clay body wrap costs $24. Understandably, it gets extremely busy, so book ahead."

Loved our visit to spa, we booked a hamman and massage for three people. It was a great experience, and we loved every minute! Also the products and oil used smelled really nice too! Would recommend!

An amazing experience. I have been to a few Hammam in Marrakech but I wanted to go with my boyfriend and have a private experience that we could enjoy together. The Hammam is beautiful and Fatiha was so professional and kind. She showed us to the Hammam and prepared the room with warm water. Then you are scrubbed. It feels good, she was not too harsh and she noted we had softer skin. Then we had a sugar scrub and a body mask afterwards. She was very caring and we both felt very comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely recommend coming here and I will come back!!

Madam Fatiha provided an exceptional service. She really showed a warming sense of care and professionalism. I was so pleased with the hamam package I took. Leaving this review as a sincere recommendation to her. Thank you ☺️

Mixed feelings about this spa. When booking the Farnatchi Signature x 2, I thought it would be a hammam for two people with two staff, but it was one staff for two people in the same room. So technically you are receiving half the time each. Paying $1180 MAD, which is about $175 CAD for one hour (30 mins each) of scrubbing and hot water splashing is a bit much in my opinion. Yes we felt soft afterwards and the place is clean and Fatiha was very nice but I felt it was overpriced. I can get a 90 minute full body massage for that price in Montreal. It seems that if we had booked individual sessions for $590 MAD (so you save nothing by booking the shared experience) we would have each received 60 minutes of hammam and I question what we missed.

I had a very good masseuse, he was very professional. Nice spot too. Only feedback will be time keeping, we had 2 massages booked at same time and one of the staff was running late by 45 minutes! They let us use their roof garden with extra tea and cookies, wasn’t a bad wait at all!

Recommend this spa as a wonderful introduction to a hammam experience. My husband and I really enjoyed our private hammam scub and I did a massage afterward which was also excellent. The staff is lovely and were very helpful in explaining the process and making us feel comfortable.

I went for a foot massage, which actually turned out to be a (painful) lower legs massage. Make sure you are vocal upfront when expecting a foot massage. My daughter’s body massage was great (including 10 minutes of real foot massage ;-). The spa is nice and clean. Personnel is very kind.

I had a hammam treatment with Fatiya and a facial after. She was incredibly caring, hard working and informative as it was my first time. I think the price is fair for the excellent quality of service I received and I would return when I come back to Marrakech. The facial was good too but Fatiya stood out due to her warmth and because hammam was the main reason I visited the spa. Thank you
