Farol de Itapuã Praia Hotel

I made a reservation for 2 nights, in February 2025. After a long flight from Germany, I arrived at the hotel at 11 PM and it was overbooked. Then, they offered me a room with NO WINDOWS, DIRTY WALLS, DESTROYED BATHROOM and SAME PRICE. It was so frustrating! I had to walk on the streets, at night, to find another place to stay.

Our group stayed here for 2 nights, 1 before and 1 after a Habitat for Humanity build so we had two different rooms. Both were clean and comfortable. The AC only works when the room key is placed in the slot by the door but the room cooled down very quickly. At least one of the rooms has a balcony with a hammock. The hotel is located about a block from the beach. The owners and staff are very helpful and always on duty. We needed a taxi at 4am and the person at the front desk knew who to call and it got there quickly. The breakfast buffet is good. There are deck chairs out by the pool. The pool is extremely shallow. Don't expect to swim there but you can cool down on a hot day. If you're on a budget, this is the hotel for you.

Inflexible and unhelpful. |Accidentally booked an incorrect date due to making back-to-back reservations for the upcoming holiday. |The property has been contacted several times by Expedia and initially no-one picked up the phone and then still refused to move the one night reservation despite not being fully booked. |As a result, they will get to keep the money for the original booking but will definitely not make the same money twice as well go elsewhere. |

The hotel is more like Pusada in terms of size and family size, We stayed in room 16 (30 sqm), a huge bathroom, an excellent shower with hot water, and a spacious living room, facing the garden and from the distance you can see the sea. There are only two floors but too many levels and too many stairs . The staff is nice.. There are several restaurants around ,supermarket. Beach across the road. br 460 for 3 nights for a double Superior room

I've been staying at Farol de Itapuã for only a few days now, but the rooms and the service are both great. The staff is very thoughtful and the space is very enjoyable. The location, though, could be better. The hotel is very near tha beach, but there aren't a lot of restaurant options or markets and the region seems to be a bit unsafe.

Something has changed since last time I was here so I can't give more than 3 stars I am sorry, they said they will improve until next time

Wonderful room, big bed and comfortable.. Breakfast was good but not 'wow'

Poor maintenance and cleaning could be better. Bathroom's door didn't close and staff didn't fix it after 3 complaints.
