FAROS Seaside Bar Restaurant

A small spot right by the sea with beautiful views. Unfortunately, the food is underwhelming. The Greek breakfast was okay, but the club sandwich was very dry and lacked flavor. The coffee, however, was of very good quality. It’s a pity that the prices on the menu don’t match those on the bill. According to the menu, the club sandwich costs €10, but I was charged €10.50. The same goes for the Greek breakfast, listed as €9.50 but charged at €10. If I return, it will be for the coffee—not the food.

Lovely spot, tucked out the way but worth getting too. Food was great and a good price. George, our server, was a gentleman, all round lovely experience.

We arrived on this lovely beach and got umbrellas and beach chairs. I ordered a salad with aubergine tomato and pine nuts and it was excellent. They are not one of those places that put just 10 pine nuts on the top. No I had pine nuts in every bite. And I appreciate those details. Cocktails were excellent en the staff is friendly. It has also a nice clean toilet. The beach itself has pebbles which is a plus for me, the sound of the waves is really calming and searching for rocks is a pleasant use of my beach time.

The best food we have tried while here in KOS it is a beautiful setting day or night on the beach, incredible food and outstanding service and amazing cocktails. George really looked after us, his passion for what he does is admirable thank you for a wonderful experience and memories made, we wish you many successful years in business 🇬🇷🫶🏻🍴🥂 ☀️ 👏🏻

What can I say other than wow! This restaurant has such a vibe, beautiful decor, food, wine and the staff are incredible and friendly. We've visited twice on our short break and loved every minute. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Be sure to try the chicken starter and the greek wine in the picture.

Randomly came across this wonderful bar & restaurant whilst driving around near Kefalos and thought we’d give it a try. We were so glad we did as the welcome was warm, the location beautiful and the food delicious including what my wife thought was the best cheesecake she’d ever had! The beach is pebbly in front but the water is crystal clear light blue and we’ve already told them we’ll be back for the whole day. Can’t wait.

What a great place! The bay is beautiful and you have a wonderful view from the sunbeds. These can be rent for 10€/2 beds (which is pretty much standard in the region). Beer & coffee is a little bit pricey (>5€) but you can get a Club Sandwich with fries for 10€ which is enough for 2 persons. We went there on 3 days and one night because it was so nice. Pasta and fast food were tasty as well. The service depends on temperature and daytime. Sometimes we got served at the sunbeds and sometimes not. Staff was always very polite and nice :) The interior of the place is absolutely beautiful. You see a lot of beach bars on Kos but rarely are they furnished and arranged that well. .

10/10 - gorgeous food, wine, cocktails and chef. I went with some friends during our holiday in Kos for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we were never disappointed. Pork chops were particularly delicious!
