Farquharsons Bar and Kitchen

What a fantastic place to eat or drink. If you're looking for that classic Scottish hospitality (and at a great price) this is the place! They serve up great food, it was one of the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. The toilets were immaculate, clean and tidy.

Stopped for lunch and although busy, found a table quickly. Menu is good, plenty of choice but not overwhelming. Atmosphere was great 👍 Service was very good. We didn't have to wait long for our food which was hot and super tasty. We have a doggy bag ( box) to takeaway leftovers.

We were so glad we found FARQUHARSON'S BAR AND KITCHEN in the small village of Braemar, near Balmoral Castle. The place has a wonderful atmosphere, with a great mix of both locals and tourists. We had a fantastic time enjoying our delicious meal on the beautiful outdoor deck. This is not your typical pub; it feels like an authentic restaurant with a distinct, specialized menu. What truly made our visit exceptional, though, is that the restaurant is incredibly pet-friendly. The staff was so welcoming to our pup and even brought over a water bowl and dog biscuits for her! We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a tasty and unique dining experience.

We stopped in without a reservation and they fit us in. Delicious late lunch. My kids asked to return the next day for the fish & chips (one of the best tartar sauces I've tasted). They had an incoming reservation so we took a trio of desserts home. The tiramisu was alright but the honeycomb cheesecake and chocolate tart were excellent, even 2 days later.

This place provides some seriously tasty dishes in a cozy environment that you won't want to leave. Grab a seat on the couch by the fire, or scooch up to the bar and have a chat with the bartender. Regardless, you will find some friendly people.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Our dog is reactive and we asked if they could open the side gate into the beer garden and were very accommodating. Resulting in a happy beer garden pub! Lovely selection of craft beers on offer and lots of gin! 🍻

We had a lovely meal at Farquharsons today. We were in the area and hungry. As soon as we entered in to this restaurant the staff were friendly and helpful and gave me the allergy guide because I am gluten free. The service was very prompt and efficient. The food came out very quickly. There is a reasonable choice for gluten free food too including fish and chips,lamb Kofte and burgers. For my staters I went for the Prosciutto Ham,Buffalo Mozzarella and tomato as a gluten free option. However I asked for the dish to come without the tomato. The Buffalo Mozzarella was lovely and very fresh. The Prosciutto Ham was lovely and I liked the sauce on it,it tasted like vinegar but it was sweet. The Lamb Kofte was nice. The salad was tasty,fresh and had a nice seasoning. The fries were delicious and the rice was delicious too. They have a lovely outdoor and rooftop area.

Been here 2 days in a row. Incredible vegan burger! Great service and very nice staff. The atmosphere is lovely as well. I highly recommend stopping in here!
