Absolutely amazing show. And great venue. An intimate club with incredible artists.

Google
Most famous jazz club in Stockholm with live music, concerts and jam sessions. Nice place to visit, there is bar inside with beers and drinks. Very small but it gives you opportunity to be very close to musicians. Highly recommended.

You are looking for nice dinner, drinks and amazing life jazz music? Look for no further. This club is among the oldest and most interesting ones in Europe. And Miriam Aida was soo good.

Even been a jazz reference in Stockholm, one of the worst place to enjoy a concert, except if you are going to dinner during the concert. You will view it laterally because the central part is plenty of tables for meals.

Was here during May. The place has a nice vibe to it. I went here on a night with no live-performers but there was a disco/soul/R&B-themed music going on. It's a great place to enjoy music, dance, and just have fun!

The venue is amazing! Such a history in the atmosphere! Great sound and both intimate without it being too crowded. You can sit at a table the whole concert of you book a table and eat there. The earlier you book, the closer to the stage. We sat at the balcony, which was apparently a less desirable seat, but we wanted to sit there anyhow. The food was ok, but very pricey for the quality. Felt like I paid for the seat rather than the food. Saw the amazing Nine Sparks Riot! 10 of 10 for the band ⭐

We bumped into here on our way home. Because it was later in the evening we didn’t have to pay to go inside. The place was pretty packed and we could see why, the jazz band was just amazing. We had a wonderful time

Google
One of the best places in Stockholm for live music. If you like funk, soul, jazz or just a good live show, this is the place to be. Cannot recommend it enough.

Yelp
Of the 3 jazz clubs I visited while in Stockholm, Fasching was the biggest, fanciest and grandest. The crowd was also the oldest looking, with about 25% being tourists, including myself. I walked in rather late at around 10pm, no seats available and plenty of standing room. No one stopped me for a cover charge, yay! I think the cheapest beer was less than 50SEK. The bartender was friendly enough and spoke perfect English. Not sure who the band was, but they sounded American, talked like they were American, and they sounded good! Definitely worth a visit if you like jazz, but don't want the seriousness of Glenn Miller Cafe or Stampen.

Yelp
The rain was pattering outside. But inside it's warm and dry, dimly lit with candles in the corners and red velvet curtains. Soft laughter bounces off of the brick wall on one side, and muted sweet nothings drift down from the wooden balcony up above where couples sit close over their desserts. The scents of cognac and dessert wine lazily mingle and swirl through the air, and a food starts tapping, 1, 2, 3, 4. The cymbals touch gently, picking up the pace a bit, then a thump from a drum, and suddenly there's a remarkable cacophony, as drums, saxophone, piano, and bass pipe up all at once. It melts quickly from dissonance into harmony, sliding down the scales like a rain drop on a silken flower, and we're off on a melodic journey of heartache, hope, and rhythm. I'm pretty sure Fasching is the best thing that ever happened in Stockholm on a Wednesday night. Of course, it's not limited to Wednesdays. The jazz club has concerts and clubs multiple nights a week, offering everything from soft vocal jazz to soul DJ nights. I had been meaning to pay a visit for quite a while, and when it finally became a reality, it wasn't a let-down. The venue is perfect, dark with black painted tables, a low stage, and a laid-back feel. The staff are all very friendly and speak perfect Swedish and English. My friend and I arrived around 19:45 for a concert starting at 20:00, and my friend was famished. Generally if you want to eat you're supposed to book a table at 19:00. But we asked the girl there if it was ok, if we could eat something, and she seemed a bit hesitant at first but then she quickly worked things out and seated as at an empty table on the far side of the stage. We thought it was quite a nice spot actually, but five minutes later she came back and informed us that there was a couple which didn't show up, and she could offer us a better spot. She lead us to a small table right in front of the stage. I wasn't hungry myself, and my friend ordered a salad and I just had a glass of wine, and the server didn't seem to mind at all. She was very friendly, service-minded, and attentive, asking if we wanted anything else but not being pushy at all. Every single question or request was met with respect, a smile, and a helpful answer. The jazz itself was absolutely top-notch! We saw the Hanna Elmqvist band, and they were all incredible musicians with great stage presence and a true and apparent enjoyment for the jazz they were playing. We decided to order dessert and took a vanilla parfait with chocolate and berries, which was simply wonderful. My only complaint about Fasching is that it is on the whole very expensive. Entrance is at least 100kr usually, and more when it's a big concert. The food and drinks are also pricey - a beef salad is up towards 170kr, and if you want anything more substantial to eat it will be towards 200. A glass of the cheapest white wine, Jacob's Creek, was 78kr. Still, it was a great night in every way, and it's a perfect way to spoil yourself for a truly great evening of live music and good service!

Yelp
Good grub, tasty drink, and close seating to the stage. So probably great seating for all. Times visited: 1

Yelp
This lovely, cozy venue would help me weather even the coldest, darkest Swedish winter if we ever moved here. There is a bar area at the front, where folks were jamming informally before the set, and friends could grab a drink before the show. Inside, there are tables on the floor, very close to the stage, and upstairs. There is standing room in the bar area or to stage right. The crowd is a good mixture of young and old -- and included on the night we went, our five year old boy, whom the staff welcomed without any fuss whatsoever. We heard Badi Assad, a Brazilian woman of mixed Lebanese, Italian, Portuguese descent. She was phenomenal, her nuanced, flexible voice as versatile as any great instrument, her guitar playing alternately soothing as a lullaby or bright and warm as polished brass. We are a family that is passionate about music, and we had the privilege of living in the epicenter of NYC's jazz scene for many years. Our children cut their teeth at Smalls (and later Mezzrow, it's new sister venue), the Village Vanguard, the Blue Note. Fasching Jazzclub would absolutely hold its own among our favorites at home. Ticket prices are on par with what you'd pay in NYC. The quality of the music is on par with what you'd find in NYC. There are reasonably clean bathrooms and good beers on tap. This is a true gem of a place.

Yelp
I was visiting and saw there was a jazz club near my hotel so I was psyched. I walked over and bought a ticket...about $35 US..without looking up the artist. I figured even bad jazz is good enough jazz! Unfortunately the band playing was not jazz at all. It sounded more like a gospel group singing slow ballads. The crowd was 45+ and the set up of the venue was weird, barely any seating. I unfortunately ended up walking out because the music was so bad and it was just awkward in general. I guess it's my mistake for assuming there would be jazz at a jazz club.

Yelp
A place to experience music played live, by those who feel their art with passion. That they deliver with enthusiasm to a public that receives it grateful in the most intimate. Rincon, with public of different ethnic groups, cultures, ages and sex. They become a single person for in the feeling and emotion to enjoy hours, in company with strangers who are transferred as a family. Through the magic of instruments transmitting life-giving existences. Faschin, I love you.

Yelp
The app was showing it is OPEN but when we went there it was CLOSED. We went there around 11:00 pm though the app says it closes at 1:00 am. Something is wrong
