Fast Food Popaj

We spent several days trying to decide where to have dinner. We passed this place several times. The place is a bit out of the city center, but it always smelled nice and the tables were mostly occupied. The short menu, specializing in fish, is a big plus. We ordered dishes and they were ready in 15 minutes. We had squid, shrimps, fish & chips, and octopus. Delicious dishes, crispy fish, not drenched in oil. I ate octopus 🐙 for the first time and it was soft, well seasoned, and delicate. My son liked the shrimps and ate them all 🍤 - around 20-25! For dessert, we had coffee and cake. We were glad we chose Popay's out of all the restaurants in Malinska. The portions are generous!

Fantastic experience! We ordered calamari and fish – everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The flavors were amazing, and the quality was outstanding. The service was also great. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tasty and well-prepared seafood meal!

Ordered within 5min after sitted at table, after 5-10min from ordering dinner was already on table. Grilled squids and fried squids were both very delicious and portion was big.

It's not I. The town center, but just a short walk from the larger grocery store... Absolutely excellent food! The fish platter for two was a huge portion with really top end fresh catch fish. The staff was friendly and very attentive. My Partnership and I were both convinced it was our best meal on 5he Island. I'd recommend to anyone to stop in if visiting Malinska or staying there. Be sure to Google Map "fast food popaj"... Not the fish market popaj! They have a second restaurant inKrk called "Oliva"...

Great reataurant. The staff helped me pick a great fish and were very nice and polite. I alwo watched the staff help others similarly. They all spoke great english too.

Fried calamari from heaven. Extremely tasty. Recommendation !

Perfect place for seafood of any kind. We grab grilled octopus and tuna steak. Both was well prepared, fresh and tasty. There is few parking spots before the spot. You can pay by card.

I had sea bream with Swiss chard and tiramisu. Shortly after the meal I experienced stomach pain, and it was clear that something was wrong with the food – most likely food poisoning. I went back to the restaurant politely, just to inform them and give feedback so they could check their kitchen. Unfortunately, the shift manager was shockingly rude and completely unprofessional. Instead of showing concern, he simply asked me, “And what do you want now?” The waiter actually offered to refund my meal, but I said it was not necessary – I only wanted to let them know that something was clearly off in the kitchen, and that I would have to report it if my condition got worse. The manager refused to take my feedback seriously and was extremely, extremely unpleasant. This is not the way a restaurant should treat a guest who comes in good faith to warn them about a serious issue.
