Fat Beagle Coffee Shop

Can you believe it? We came here for 3 full breakfasts in our 4 days stay on kangaroo island. We are completely pampered by the crispy croissants, the yummy eggs and the well cooked but not overdone bacon. Coffee and Tea are really good. So we came back again and again. Staff can recognised us and the exact orders we wanted. It’s so cooling to sit outside at the terrace and enjoying the garden and flowers around the cafe. A great location! Simply beat the direct competitor just across the road. Thank you for your great hospitality to our family of 9!

Perfect spot for a spot before or after your ferry trip. I had such a delicious breakfast bruschetta and well made coffee. Eggs were cooked to perfection, ingredients were very tasty and fresh. Everyone working there was lovely. Also, prices were pretty good and exactly the same as the city of Adelaide (some even less). I will come back for sure.

Grate service from the type of people that notice your name on your shirt and add it to your cup without asking. Great food that will rival the best home cooked meals without charging you a leg, far too important these days. The type of of place that let's you slow down and relax.

Great little cafe so close to the exit of the KI ferry. Service is great, plenty of parking, lots of food options a bit pricey for what you get compared to other cafes but still very nice

The staff are amazing! Amazingly quick service despite being quite busy. Staff were friendly, with smiles on their faces when serving us, and being polite and prepared despite the queue behind us. The atmosphere was by far one the the most bouncy, and joyful experiences I’ve had to date with any cafe or restaurant. The food was very well priced and to high standards, I had to burger with the lot and tried my friends halloumi burger which was amazing!!! Would go again!

A little gem in Penneshaw ⭐️ Went here for breakfast before catching the Ferry back to Adelaide and ordered the Breakfast special “Aggresto Eggs.” It was the best eggs we have ever eaten- flavours were delicious! They also do a very tasty coffee ☕️ Do yourself a favor and give these guys a visit before you leave Penneshaw.

Following the ferry trip from the SA mainland, this is a terrific little coffee shop to drop into for a snack or a meal in Penneshaw. We ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate slice. Both yummy and well presented. Staff were friendly and the service was efficient. Check it out when you are in Penneshaw.

Convenient little coffee shop service sweets, coffee, brunch and sandwiches in downtown Penneshaw. Nice outdoor seating available as well as plenty of indoor seating and free wifi. Great for grabbing a coffee and some sandwiches before heading out on an expedition.
