Fat Boys Burgers

Fat Boys Burgers definitely delivers when you’re craving a solid, juicy burger. The Pastrami Burger is a standout, and the fries are some of the best I’ve had — crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. The staff is friendly and the service is quick, even when it’s busy. The only reason I didn’t go full 5 stars is that the burgers can be a little inconsistent at times — one visit it’s perfect, the next the patty might be slightly overcooked or heavy on sauce. Nothing major, just room for a bit more consistency. Overall, though, Fat Boys has great flavor, good vibes, and it feels like a true NYC neighborhood spot. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to friends.

Fat boys classic burger was tasted great, juicy and packed with tons of flavor! It was delicious, the cheese was melted perfectly, every bite tastes so good. Their signature sauce is great. I will come back here soon. The fries were also good and fresh. I would recommend this place.

Stopped at the 9th Avenue location and it was delicious. The staff was friendly, there was counter tops to eat which was good. Burger was much bigger than expected and the delicious. Fries were also really good and cooked well. Staff was friendly and the menu and value was worth it. They also had lots of drink options and soft serve ice cream. Would recommend if you're in the area and want a good burger!

I love a good burger and this place delivers that. Decently priced. They don’t skimp out on the fries or chicken. And everything is flavorful. Would absolutely come back here.

It really is great burgers but they mess up my order 7/10 times. There’s bacon on my “fat boy burger” there shouldn’t be. Keep your eyes open if things like that matter to you.

The two of us were there today for lunch. I went today for their Cali burger with avocado, swiss cheese, lettuce and tomatoes and their signature sauce which was scrumptious even though I wouldn’t have minded just a hint of salt on the patty, every ingredient was perfectly balanced and I also ordered a strawberry milkshake which tasted milky and just the perfect accompaniment for the burger. The meat quality is very good. My friend wanted a cheeseburger with no tomatoes and extra pickles with a vanilla shake and they made the Skinny Boy Burger egregiously. The girl behind the cashier was nice and she welcomed us with a friendly smile and she also made our two excellent milkshakes. The place is not big but you can have your meal there, we also saw they do well on takeouts too. They’ve been opened for a year and the nice guy (whom I believe was the Manager) told us that they’re about to open a new location a few blocks down in May. The overall experience was good and approved on every level!

Very tasty burgers, I had the Western and my girl had the Fat Boy burger with onion rings... OUT OF THIS WORLD, DELICIOUS! Great service and food, going back to try everything else. Only bad thing, not enough seating (fast food style counter seating) and no customer rest room. Other than that, highly recommended A++ 👌

Very good burgers in price and taste and definitely worth the detour. The patties aren't the best quality but the burger was well made.

Mid burger, $8 for single patty burger. Overall bland and not much flavor on the patty. I got the fries and it's wayyyy too salty and I couldn't eat it at all. Small space , not much seating.

2.5/5 As others have pointed out the burger meat itself is fairly tasteless. The sauce redeems some, but mostly makes the whole taste soggy and oily. The choice to put the lettuce on the bottom does not work in their favor either as the heat and liquids made it soggy as well (the function of lettuce is to add a crisp crunch, right?). In fact all veggies (lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles) were stacked on the bottom which I think is a mistake. The cheese fries were pretty decent, however it tasted and had a consistency more like a sauce than actual cheese. Also, the cheese fries come with mixed-in chopped burger, which feels quite superfluous if you're already having a burger, especially given the meat's bland flavor. A fair attempt as a burger shop, but did not hit the spot for me, and I would not return.

Really enjoyed the burger and chicken strips. The staff is friendly and food is served quickly. Small restaurant with a few seats. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because after paying $10 for a burger and a few bucks for chicken strips you are not given any sauce. Sauce costs $0.75 which is not a big deal, but you would think that you would get at least one sauce with your standard order.

Good quality burger. I got the pastrami burger. The burger isn't the biggest size I've ever seen, so paying nearly $16 just for that feels a little steep. I like the sauce that's over the entire burger. I like the pastrami. The bun is really tasty on a brioche bun. I try to bite all my friends chicken strip, and that was really crunchy and tasty. I'd go back for those and they're only two dollars. It wasn't too packed when I got in there and I probably waited 20 minutes or so so the weight felt a little long.

Really solid burger - glad i was recommended it. I just went with the skinny burger which was more than enough. I will def be back.

After hearing rave reviews about this small neighborhood spot, we finally gave it a try and ordered delivery. The order arrived quickly and was well packaged. Overall, the food was solid. - The Skinny Boy Burger was a classic single patty burger. Good, but the buns could have been thinner or lighter. - The chopped chicken sandwich was delicious. - Mozzarella cheese sticks were okay, while the onion rings were perfectly crispy. - The chopped cheese fries were satisfying. - A single chicken tender (ordered as a side) was surprisingly excellent and even got my husband's approval, and I call him chicken boy lol With such a diverse menu, we'll definitely be ordering again, but next time, I might dine in to enjoy everything at its freshest.

Service was quick, friendly and easy! Perfect for on the go or ordering ahead for take-out! It's small, but don't let it deter you from going!! Friendly helpful staff, great French Fries among a menu full of great food! Only thing missing...Dr Pepper

I will probably never be back, so here goes.. So let down...at the point we came, the place had a 4.7 rating and 99 votes, so I tend to think that is going to be amazing..it was not better than where I wanted to go, Burger Joint. Now a fast food burger probably can never get above a 4 out of 5 in my book because I just prefer a thick patty, but unless I was drunk at the time, and I was not at this sitting, neither of these burgers I tried would be more than a 3.5, however the fries are almost as good as it gets....4.8, and the nice char makes the burger a solid fast food choice. The girl behind the counter was great, and the staff seemed enthusiastic. The place was clean, and I am being harsh because others have thrown the rating so high it is out of whack... This is a good, fast-burger option, not a great burger...if you want fast and pretty good, this works. My wife and I had a laugh, when we heard a couple next to us saying this was the best burger ever. Didn't want to interrupt, because this was also a date for them. I couldn't imagine. On the way out, they asked if we enjoyed and that is also worth extra points. Again, I would've rated this place higher, it's just that I should not have been questioning whether I should come here instead of a better fast food burger at burger joint and so i feel fooled...

Food and service were incredible here. Ambiance is dope. Blasted through an impossible burger with Gordo sauce and it was absolutely delish. I have no photos of it, it's so good.

Ah, I really wanted a satisfying burger, and with all the work, with avocado and the gordo sauce, I really thought I was going to get it, but even with it being freshly made (I think, given the 5-10 min wait), there wasn't much flavor to anything, nor were the textures anything special. With a normal size, yet a $13 price tag at a fast casual vibe, it was a mid experience disappointingly.

My friend and I wanted a quick lunch and decided to do a quick Google search of the area when w stumbled on this place . We made online orders and walked in . The place is small not many places to sit and eat but clean and the music was a good volume . The food was DELICIOUS! The best burger I've had in a long time , soft juicy and tasty the fries were done perfectly and not over seasoned . Everything was processed separately so it was a little pricey but well worth the money . I will definitely make this a frequent stop . Stop by and enjoy some good eats if you're in the area . Happy eating

Burger and fries were great. Even the shake was great, but they got my order wrong. I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake but got the fruit loop milkshake. Unfortunate didn't notice until I got home - it was good but not what I ordered

Oh man, this was a disappointing experience. I ordered the skinny burger, and you can tell the beef patty was frozen. It was chewy and flavorless. Husband had the western burger, which meant he had two flavorless patties, lucky guy. The sauce was fine, and made up for the flavorless ness (but not the texture) of the meat, but I really like my burger to feature *the burger*, so blah. Onion rings tasted like the oil they were fried in too -- these didn't even get eaten. Husband did enjoy the milkshake, but it's 100 degrees today, and honestly anything cold is going to be a relief. We were going to dine in, but yikes, it was hot inside, so we took our burgers to go. Music was blaring too, which is fine, but none of this made it an appealing place to eat. Service was friendly and food came out pretty quickly and was still hot when we got home. So not a total miss, but not a place we'll return to. Bummer.

I like this place better than 7th street burger. It's not overly greasy and also have option for impossible burger if you're not feeling the meat patties. There are different toppings you can add to your burger to make it extra tasty. One of my favorite topping on burger (and pizza) is banana peppers to help cut the grease. It didn't take long to get our orders either and was not busy when we visited during dinner time on a weekend. This place is a casual grab and go burger joint but they do provide about 6-8 bar seats if you can't wait to devour the food.

I eat this once a week!! Lettuce bun is a game changer. It's difficult to find a good impossible burger but this one is perfect. Fries, onion rings, and milkshakes are all delicious. 10/10!

I don't say this lightly but this is by far one of the best burgers I've ever had. Burgers from Lugers, Minetta, and Red Hook are on a different level. Those are gourmet. But if you're going for daily dining, this is my number one spot for a burger. Not just any burger but the pastrami burger specifically. Delicious, flavorful, packed with texture and seasoning. It takes my top spot for daily burgers. Service was friendly and this is mainly a take out spot with a small bar seating area for eat in.

Excellent food, relatively cheap (for Manhattan at least), gordo sauce is good. The Burger and Chopped Chicken are both great. I wish they had a combo deal but they unfortunately do not, which makes it more expensive to get a full meal. Milkshakes are the best we've ever had! Ive had their burgers, chopped chicken, fries, and many of the milkshakes 10/10

The food was delicious. I got the whipped ricotta for the appetizer and it was so good. The cheese was nice and creamy and the bread was toasted just right. I also got the arancini and it was pretty good. I got the funghi pizza for my entree and it was pretty good. Our server was very enthusiastic and just overall very pleasant to be around. I highly recommend this place. 10/10

The 3.7-star burger delivers a juicy patty and fresh toppings at a fair price. While not the most memorable, it's a good option for a quick, satisfying bite.

Nice little burger joint in HK. Everything was packed with flavor. I made my own combination of strawberry shake with cinnamon toast crunch cereal and it was heaven.

I got the fat boy burger with fries and while they both looked great, the flavors were lacking. The patties were dry and bland while the "seasoned" fries weren't really seasoned. I had to add extra salt for some flavor. There wasn't much FB sauce either on the burger. The girl at the counter seemed to be on her lunch break but by the time my order was done, it sat on the counter for five minutes before she noticed because she was too busy FaceTiming someone. Not the most attentive service or best food but if you want a quick lunch to fill you up, this is the place to go.

The good news is that Fatboys is almost like in and out on the West Coast. The other good news is they're open till 1 AM. This is definitely my go to for awesome cheeseburgers.

Fries were great. The Chopped Chicken sandwich was mid. Respectfully. More batter or whatever they cover it in than chicken. But it came fast. Nd it was fresh.

Ordered the Skinny Boy Burger on a cold evening and didn't have to wait long. Was able to sit in the window and eat. There are about 5 chairs as it is a small restaurant but the heater kept the place nice and warm with the door opening and closing so often. The burger itself had a toasted brioche bun with plenty of Fat Boy signature sauce and melted cheese. I ate it quickly because every bite left me wanting another. Wish I had ordered two!

I don't think I've ever reviewed a restaurant in my life, but this burger was incredible. The double cheeseburger is only $10 on its own, which is cheap for New York City, and everything about it was of incredible quality. It tasted better than the burgers I make back home. The service was quick and easy, and the restaurant itself is cozy and cool looking. I love this place a lot, and I'm probably gonna stop by again tonight before I leave NYC!!

Stumbled upon this place after leaving Rise and I'm so glad I did! The team working there was so nice and welcoming. I got the Fat Boys Burger and I wish I took a picture for you but I inhaled the whole things immediately the burger was so good. The bread perfectly toasted. I tried some of the fries and sauce my friend ordered and they were so perfectly crispy and delicious I'll definitely be back!!

Stopped by for a burger. I had the most phenomenal burger I ever had. Order came out in no time. Nat was the cashier. One burger to go. Double patty. Special sauce. No fries! I am an expert on burgers. I try them all over town! This burger I rate a 6 on the Richter scale! Folks, get on down there before the line snake around the block!

Was craving a burger after watching a quiet day one at amc lincoln square. This place did not disappoint. The burger was thick,juicy, and fresh. Chopped cheese fries complemented the burger well. Very little seating inside. Prefer this over 7th Street Burger.Definitely going back after a movie
