This was my first time ever eating at this restaurant, and I have to say it was great. I'm not much of a pizza fan, but it was great pizza. There is a right portion of sauce, toppings and crust. The size was worth it, especially feeding all my kids. If you like ranch with your pizza, you need to try the fat boy ranch. Joy was my server and she was awesome, very helpful and nice. Great smile and perfect customer service, plan to go back through again!

Google
Yeah, it's expensive but you're in the French Quarter. $12-13 for a slice of pizza until you see the slices, which are easily 2-3x the size of a typical slice. The daiquiris are good and at $13 for a small not unreasonable. The pizza was actually really good, warmer up and served hot. Would definitely eat here again.

Google
Fat Boy’s pizza was amazing! We were craving pizza after eating a ton of Cajun food all weekend long and it more than hit the spot! The crust was thin and crispy but yet still had good crust to hold up the HUGE slice of pizza! Also the Fat Boy sauce is like a savory/hint of spice ranch that was amazing to dip your pizza in! We liked it so much we went back for a second time before we left New Orleans! Highly recommended!

A delicious (and very large) slice of pizza! I wish they had beer for sale but the pizza was great.

Watching the doordasher walk up with the huge box was funny! We had no idea that this pizza would be so big. It barely fit through the door 😆 and the slices are GIANT. We got a kick out of it lol We ordered The Meats, SO good. I'm a huge fan of thin sliced pizza, and this one was one of the best I've tasted. It was thin but not too thin, and the crust was really crispy. I loved it. All the ingredients were fresh. Good stuff 👍

Google
This is a great pizza spot. It’s right between Bourbon and Royal. Conveniently nestled in the middle of a popular area to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the surrounding area. We got our food quick. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. It’s the biggest slice of pizza I’ve ever seen. Nice atmosphere as well with outdoor seating and an indoor seating area upstairs. Highly recommend checking it out.

Google
You want pizza, you got it! Amazing sized pie and delicious. Great sized TVs for sports viewing. Well air conditioning with an upstairs for larger parties. Also outside seating.

Google
30" pies = Huge slices!! Huge slices do come with not cheap prices. $12/pepperoni slice. It was good, not great, not amazing. It was good. I've had better and I certainly have had worse. It was a thin, NY style slice. Cheesy, decent pepperoni coverage. I would do it again.

Yelp
Picture this: you and six friends just rolled into town, hit Bourbon Street hard, and spent the night drinking beer and hurricanes like champs. It's late, you're definitely drunk, and everyone's starving. What do you do? You stumble into this place and order a pizza so massive it barely fits on the table. We're East Coasters, so we're picky about our crust -- it needs that crispy, chewy balance -- and this one nailed it. I wish I could tell you more about the service, ambiance, or anything beyond the pizza, but, well... we were pretty far gone. All I can say is: the pizza hit the spot, and I'd 100% go back. Maybe next time I'll remember more. Maybe.

Yelp
The pizza was fine. Big pieces. Customer service is NOT good on a Monday evening.: - the delivery was one and a half hours late. Ordered at 1:30 for a 5:45 delivery and got it finally at 7:15. - the app kept saying, "5 minutes out", over and over, and never gave us the opportunity to cancel. - when texting with the driver, he knew the pizza was delayed by an hour, but they would not let me know. - when calling the shop, they never answer. The hold recording is really gross - someone burping. Hung up after 30 minutes.

Yelp
Excellent pizza compared to others in the immediate area. New York thin crust style. Slices are something like 15 inches long! The staff was fun and professional. The atmosphere was a pizzeria-bar ... which sounds like a great combo to me! Slices range from $12-$15 depending on toppings. 30 inch pizzas start at $45. They are HUGE! Pre-plan your route if carry out.

Yelp
First time at Fat Boy's and it did not disappoint! This location is convenient, right next to Pat O's off bourbon. One slice is a great size to share as a snack for two, or a meal for one person! The pepperoni was solid! Nothing to go crazy about but it was a good slice of pizza! What really impressed me was the layout of the location. The downstairs features a bar and a courtyard with seating. The upstairs has a huge indoor seating area with restrooms. The service was decent! I'd come back if I was in the area!

Yelp
$26 for two cheese slices is a little rough. But, it's not that. A famous pizza guy gave it a 5.4 on his scale. You know the guy.... Anyway, if you're highly under the influence then this spot makes sense. Oil mixed with zero cheese flavor, I don't even know how you accomplish this task. It was hot, it had cheese, and I ate it. Somehow, I still felt empty inside - just like this pizza. Sigh.

Yelp
If you need something greasy and good to coat your stomach for a day/night of drinking on Bourbon St, you should visit Fat Boy's. The slices are humongous. I will say it's a bit pricey but it is worth it. The members of the staff were attentive and extremely nice. They made you feel like you were at home. I ordered a slice of cheese and a slice of veggie. The slices are so big you will have an interesting time trying to eat it. The cheese pull on both slices was amazing! They also have alcohol slushy machines and a full bar. Fat Boy's is one of my favorite places to visit in New Orleans.
google avatar

Yelp
This is definitely a pizza for a fat boy like myself. Slices are huge. Line was long when we got there, but it was Mardi Gras so that's not a knock just as to be expected. Line moved pretty fast though and the pizza was pretty good. Not overly greasy, but just right to fill your belly and soak up some alcohol so you can rally.

Yelp
Sometimes you are looking for a quick lunch and don't want a fast food burger or sandwich. When you are in the middle of downtown New Orleans, your options can be slim. Fat Boy Pizza was exactly what I needed. Giant (and I do mean huge) slices of delicious, greasy, NY-style pizza slices topped with an assortment of toppings that you can just grab and go. My wife and I split one slice between us and had plenty for a quick lunch. Perfect for when you are too busy seeing the sites to stop and eat. Prices were not bad vs. the size of a pizza slice. It was also right in the middle of the French Quarter, so you can't miss accounting for that mark-up. You can order by the slice or get a whole pie. The takeout boxes for a whole pizza were comically large, worth a picture. The pizza was tasty enough, not the best but definitely not the worst, and by all means most pizza is pretty darn good regardless. Worth a stop!

Yelp
My NY pizza-snob husband gives this place two thumbs up. Great place to grab a quick bite and soak up some alcohol. Oh, and it's DELICIOUS too!
google avatar

Alison M.

Yelp
Husband does pizza reviews wherever we go and we found this while roaming around Bourbon Street and thought it was cute and photogenic. Their pizza slices are like $10 but they're HUGE and look like 3-4 pieces. Hubs always does cheese so that's what we did and waited about 5 minutes for it to be warmed up. I thought it was actually very good. He liked it too and ate the entire thing when he said he wasn't hungry and was only going to take "a couple bites for the video" - so that tells you something.

Yelp
Needed something for my toddler to eat and I was just looking for a place they served pizza slices. The pizza is mediocre and nothing special. It's very greasy and the slices are massive. Price is high, but that's expected in the French Quarter.
google avatar

Erika T.

Yelp
First time here! first caution is to not underestimate the slices! I ordered a slice of Meat Lovers and the Fat Boy! They were both as you'd expect them to be! Lots of meat and oil dripping. I couldn't exactly describe how they both tasted. I was overwhelmed by how big the slices were! But boy was I full from one 1/2 slice! There were enough tables outdoors instead of inside. It's a pizza/sports bar type of vibe. I couldn't describe how beautiful outdoor space was, you have to look at it for yourself. I'd definitely come back here when I'm completely starving, or else I wouldn't finish a slice! haha

Megan S.

Yelp
Good pizza but a little on the soggy side, outer crust was crispy but inner crust not so much. We paid $59 for the fat boy which had pepperoni sausage and some veggies. Super big!!!
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
Pizza was fine, but if you wanted it custom, you had to order a whole 30 inch pie. Not much variety but it will do for most looking for a pizza fix. The sauce tasted almost like what you get on a frozen pizza. Crust was nice and thin, but not much flavor.

Yelp
After a day of drinking we needed something to soak up the booze in our tummies. We passed by this place on our way home and decided to give it a try. Billed as the home of the world's biggest slice, "because size matters," Fat Boy's Pizza is strategically located next to Pat O'Brien's. Brillant idea on their part because the patrons next door will definitely want carbs after downing all those sugary Hurricanes. The emphasis is on BIG here. 26 oz frozen daiquiris, 23 oz beers, & jumbo huge pretzels are also available. A cheese slice is $11 but it is large enough for two to share or save some for later. (A 30" cheese pie is $49 and pepperoni is $52.) We got a cheese slice to share. I wasn't impressed. Even though the server put it in the oven to reheat, the cheese didn't really melt to that perfect gooey texture. The crust was a bit hard. More like a cracker than bread. We both could only tolerate a few bites. The service was also lackluster. Next time I want a slice I'll walk a bit further to Vieux Carre Pizza.
google avatar

Emily I.

Yelp
PIZZA IS DELISH! Got the pepperoni and a strawberry daiquiri. Be warned, the pizza is HUGE!! It's an $11 slice which is a little steep but I get it for the size. Daiquiri was also scrumptious. Service was attentive, he came to check up on us which was so nice. Maybe we'll do the 2 foot challenge next time...

Alycia H.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing pizza!!! Great service, this place is a definite 'must try' in New Orleans!!!
google avatar

Adam B.

Yelp
Slices are indeed bigger than most places. But they're not that filling, so you still need a slice per person if you're hungry. And $11 for a cheese slice seems a bit pricey for what it is, since going rate for a normal slice (with thicker crust) is about $4 nearby. Cheese Slice: Very floppy crust. Like if you try to hold it up, the slice will hang vertically and cheese will start rolling off. Which might be because it's so thin. Kinda feels like they took a regular pizza and just kept stretching it and stretching. On the plus side, there is a lot of cheese to cover that surface area. Overall, felt like a lot of hype for a mediocre slice.
google avatar

Becca H.

Yelp
Stopped in for Pi Day when we were walking around NOLA and needed a quick bite for lunch. They were selling giant slices of pepperoni or cheese pizza for only $3.14. We got a pepperoni and a supreme. Service was quick but a bit brusque. One of the employees was running around like mad stressed which seemed weird to us because it wasn't that busy. We highly recommend checking out the upstairs balcony - We sat downstairs but used the bathroom upstairs after and we wished we had gone up in the first place! The balcony area is spacious and relaxing! The pizza was hot, delicious, and HUGE. Not the best we've ever had but it was solid and for the price, you can't go wrong.
google avatar

David D.

Yelp
Super busy They lost our order Traditional greasy pizza Well it was a Saturday night so i bed to give them that
google avatar

Christina B.

Yelp
Definitely the biggest slice of pizza I've ever seen. You won't be disappointed. We stopped in after having a drink next store and it smelled too good to pass up. Each slice is around $12 but it's a lot of pizza. New York style is my favorite since you don't fill up on crust but I still could only eat maybe half the slice. Somehow, Joey Chestnut ate 6 1/2 slices and you can try to win their eating challenge too if you're up for it. Just eat 2 feet of pizza in less than 7 minutes and get a tshirt. They have 6 locations I believe but this one was right in the heart of The French Quarter. Definitely stop in and get yourself a slice but make sure you're hungry. They deliver 30" pizzas too and it was comical watching the commercial of them trying to fit the box through the doorway.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
Living up north in the official Pizza Belt, I am always hesitant to order pizza elsewhere, especially down south, but you know, after a day of drinking in the Louisiana summer heat, you need something to soak up the booze before you go home and go to bed. We were at Pat O'Briens next door and decided to stop on our way back to the hotel. At first I thought $12 for a slice is a bit much, but then it came out, and I retracted by previous worries. This pizza is big, and I mean really big. The equivalent to about 2 New York slices with the same, thin crust, gooey cheesy style. I would definitely recommend to any visiting northerners.
google avatar

Carrie T.

Yelp
Best pizza we've eaten since being here. The crust was perfect flavor was on point and they aren't kidding when they say they have huge slices! Ginormous piece of pizza! Nice atmosphere inside and service was fast and friendly!!! They have every drink you could want ...non-alcohol or alcohol either one!

Lesly R.

Yelp
Sooo good! And very close from bourbon st. Staff is extremely friendly and portions are good.

C T.

Yelp
If you are looking for a quick piece of pizza, this is your place. The pieces are huge. The taste was pretty good. We just had cheese pizza. It was fast and friendly service. The guy working even came around to see if we needed anything.
google avatar

Erin H.

Yelp
You don't come to New Orleans for New York style pizza. But when all the restaurants are booked up because of final four visitors and spring breakers, you get excited for any place that smells this good and doesn't have a 2-hour wait. The pizza slices are huge and hot and melty. Unfortunately we stopped in between lunch and dinner and a lot of the specialty pizza options were sold out, but even a plain cheese or classic pepperoni here will hit the spot. They also have beers on tap and sodas available. There's limited seating inside and in a small patio area with some tables and chairs. We didn't have to wait long to order our food, but we did end up waiting for a table.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Pizza arrived burnt.... All 3 pieces. That's terrible customer service. Don't order from them unless you want stale burnt pizza. Maybe dining in is better?
google avatar

Shannon S.

Yelp
Great slice! Truly delicious. People think you can't go wrong with pizza and with Fat Boy's that's oh so true. Love it! Wish I could take it back to LA with me and sell these slices at Venice Beach. It would be the most popular spot for pizza there!
google avatar

Jana S.

Yelp
We heard this was the best pizza in NOLA, and I have to say it did not disappoint. Our server DJ was amazing, he was quick responding and a pleasant to be around. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

megan l.

Yelp
If ur drunk and want a slice this place slaps. I mean it's a basic big as heck pizza slice.
google avatar

Saundra J.

Yelp
Authentic pizza located in the French Quarters. Huge slices almost as good as NYC. Their drinks were awesome, bartender knows how to mix the drinks!! Also outside dining is available. When you visit be sure to sign up for their reward program.
google avatar

Morgan K.

Yelp
Huuuuuuuuge slices of pizza and a possible haunting upstairs. Who could ask for more?! Amazing pizza and the service was so quick.
google avatar

Kelsey Z.

Yelp
To start off- I had very low expectations given it's a pizza by the slice place right off of Bourbon St so I wasn't expecting much, but it ended up being one of the best slices of pizza I have ever had! It's a huge slice for $11-12 depending on which flavor you get- We had pepperoni. Pepperonis we're crispy and the pizza had a really good balance of cheese and sauce. The crust was doughy and crispy at the same time. Can't beat this place for a lunch or late night snack!!! Staff was super friendly and it has a cute courtyard patio if you want to dine in as well.
google avatar

Bob Y.

Yelp
The pizza was surprisingly good! I was pleasantly surprised it didn't taste like a big ball of grease or ultra dry. The pizza was well cooked, and cheese evenly spread out so that it doesn't just fall off when you bite it (like Costco pizza). It has kind of a garlic/ parm dust on the crust so you get an extra hit of cheesy/ saltiness when you get to the crust. Also the crust was super dense and dry. Overall it exceeded my expectations. Note: set your expectations appropriately, this isn't a gourmet pizza joint, it's a street pizza place where their gimmick are huge slices. They exceed expectations and did a great job. Lastly, it's around $11 for a slice, given he slice is basically 2 slices of pizza it's a fair price.
google avatar

Traci R.

Yelp
Fat Boy's Pizza may not be the best I've ever eaten but it certainly is memorable considering its' huge size. After a day of sightseeing in New Orleans and drinking in the French Quarter this place definitely hits the spot. I had a slice of pepperoni and I would have liked to taste more of the sauce but they probably hold back on the amount used so as not to make it too soggy. Very clean, friendly service, and additional seating upstairs with a balcony. Win $10,000 if you can beat Joey Chestnut's record of eating a slice in less than 39 seconds. If you pay $20 to enter their contest and finish a slice in less than 7 minutes, you will receive a Fat's Boys t-shirt and a $75 gift card along with your name posted in the shop. Located next to Pat O'Brien's. The have frozen cocktails in Pina Colada, Fat Boy, Jungle Juice, Margarita, Frose, and White Russian. I heard an employee say they give samples
google avatar

George F.

Yelp
Best pizza I have ever had in my life of 59 years. We visit NOLA every other year. I am so excited about going back to get some more pizza. Thank you for an excellent product. The staff were excellent the night we visited. This is not a world-famous Hurricane Talking. See ya real soon!
google avatar

Savannah K.

Yelp
Fat boys has some deliciousssss pizza--hits the spot if you're out drinking and want a slice of 'za. The slices are enormous. You can definitely split with someone. My only complaint is how long it takes to get a slice when they are already prepared and ready to serve.
google avatar

Alexandria M.

Yelp
The size of this pizza was shockingly HUGE! Definitely a whole meal deal in one slice. I couldn't even finish 1/2 of a slice. The crust was pillow like and the toppings were artfully added. 5 stars for pizza. Slush was good 3 our of 5 stars. Nothing out of the ordinary or unique. I skipped it on my second trip. Service 2 out of 5 stars. We sat at the bar to eat the pizza, the staff seemed annoyed with all of the patrons and consistently reaching for their phones rather than tending to the restaurant. There were trays and food all over but not very busy since we were the only people sitting at the bar. Honestly felt they were annoyed that we stayed at ate there. I visited on two separate occasions since the pizza is THAT good but felt that unwelcomed both times. Loved looking at the stats for the pizza eating contest that showed on the walls. Nice touch was the name of restaurant in the floor tiles and the "fat boy" statue upon arrival. Go for the pizza to-go for a 5 star experience.
google avatar

Christian U.

Yelp
Fat boys pizza is one of those places we're it would be a good idea for a late night snack ! Pizza is huge and good ! I highly recommend them !
google avatar

Gladys F.

Yelp
Extra large NY style pizza slices that hit the spot. Fresh made cheesy goodness. Perfect chew on the crust with well balanced sauce. Possibly the best pizza in the area.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
We came into Fat Boy's Pizza after going next door to Pat Obriens for some drinks. We needed something to help with the alcohol and pizza was the obvious choice. The restaurant was clean and the staff was super friendly. I ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of the meats. Both slices were huge. Literally the size of my face and tasted delicious. The meats was a heavy slice since of all the, well you guessed it meats so we couldn't finish that slice. But the pepperoni was perfect. I was able to finish that one on my own. The pizza had a good amount of toppings for the size of the slice. We loved the pizza so much we came back before we left for another slice. The service and food was just as great as the first time. Very impressed with this pizza shop. No wonder the chain is growing so fast. I'd definitely recommend grabbing a late night slice here and we will be back if we ever return to Bourbon Street.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
The pizza slice here was $12 plus tax.... we ordered 2 and our bill was over $25 and of course the person behind the counter wanted a tip, even though the first thing out of her mouth was a grunt when I walked in. It's like she woke up and didn't realize she was working at a pizza joint. Pizza was ok.. it was pizza.. nothing special.
google avatar

Abbie M.

Yelp
Went in on a whim one night before heading to Bourbon street and it did not disappoint! We were immediately greeted by the sweetest staff. There were 15 of us and shared a 30inch pizza and let me tell you, this was the biggest pizza ive ever seen! We got the supreme and there was a perfect ratio of dough, sauce, cheese and toppings. The crust was perfectly crisp and chewy at the same time. It was so good we can back the next day for more! Shout out Andre and the crew for taking good care of us and we will be back soon!
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
Huge slices! And good beer on tap. They're open late, so perfect for late night cravings.

Shai T.

Yelp
rude cashier lady working on Saturday night 10/26. Walked into the bar to sit, she walked by us if you'll ready to order to just go to the register. Asked what if we just gonna order drinks? She answered "you still gonna order at the counter. Why y'all arguing?!" Huh we were not arguing. We were sincerely asking a question.

Scott S.

Yelp
Craving pizza in New Orleans give this place a try. It doesn't disappoint. You can order by the slice or a whole pie
google avatar

Diana S.

Yelp
Came here looking for food after a night of drinks and singing at Pat O'Brien's (which is right next door) and so glad I found this place! I definitely recommend this place for late night, post drink eats. Was the pizza overpriced? NO because the slice was the size of my head! I could barely finish the thing. I ordered the meat slice and I guess I didn't notice how big it was but when it came out piping hot to me- I was pleasantly surprised! The pizza was fresh and cheesy, the crust was crispy, and it almost tasted as good as a slice of NY pizza (which is a major compliment as no one has better pizza than NY). One slice is definitely shareable between two people, if you aren't starving. This slice definitely hit the spot, I was full and not hungover the next day and what else can you ask for on a boozy weekend trip to NOLA?! P.S. I can't account for what this tastes like sober, so don't judge me.
