Ok hostel. Location is not that great. It's not in the town so you have to take tricycle. Because there's nothing around the hostel you kind of have to order breakfast from the hostel. They do not have complimentary breakfast so you have to purchase. Wifi never worked the whole time I stayed there (5 days) which was everyone's frustration. Despite all the negatives, there was a good group of people staying there. Very social and met lots of backpackers. Oh and they have lots of cute dogs.

I write this review from the comfort of the shaded hammock chill zone. A large communal table provides an excellent area to eat the home cooked meals and make new friends. The hostel is 5-10 minutes from town which means the frantic buzz of constant tuk tuk motorbikes is a distant blur :) it's 15 pesos per person to get in to town, facilities are basic but we'll maintained and the family are nice.

Mobile signal here is ranging from 1 bar to non-existent, but they have a good wifi signal. Owners were accommodating, and food was okay. I was able to checked-in the one private room upstairs. AC is available, however you have to pay Php200 on top of your daily rental.

Quiet little place to chill, meet friends, socialize and start new adventures. Included breakfast=1egg +2slices of toast. A bit too far from the center (50php each ride) and wifi never worked during our stay. You can have cooked food here. No hot water unless the sun boils it in the tank.

The place it self is not to bad, a little bit to far out, so if you are staying in town for to late I can get hard go get back. BUT! The big problem is the owner (Don) he's really bad. We went on an overnight tour that he arranged. It was on an uninhabited island and it started of really cool, and then he started drinking and he really flipped and started to calling us name, and shouting to us. At the end he focused all his anger on two girls and a guy, and he even hit the guy, to times! Avoid this place, and if that's the only one you can get avoid the owner, specially when he is drunk, sober he is mostly ok...

It is simple but a good place for solo travelers. I met a lot of them. The rooms are ok with several fans in it and the toiletts are ok as well. For breakfast you will receive 2 eggs with 2 pieces of bread, butter and jam. In general the place was good for my stay.

Loved this hostel! It was clean and the staff were really friendly. It has a really chill vibe and they go good food. It's or far from the town or Mt. Tapyas. They have lots of cute dogs and even puppies when I was there.

A brilliant hostel, great to meet people and the staff help you book tours, bikes and the ferry. A bit outside of town but so much quieter for it and a 20 peso taxi is nothing.
