Fateh Garh by Fateh Collection (A Heritage Renaissance Resort)

Very nice property with pool, spa and paid activities like zipline, jungle walk (walk was not open in summer when we visited), vintage car collection etc. We had a good room with a good view of Pichola lake. They also have paid taxi service which is more convenient than taking your own vehicle around. The breakfast buffet was good. However the dinner buffet was not that good. There were comparatively very few options than what you expect out of a buffet. However the open terrace restaurant gave a very good view of the surrounding hence it was overall good experience. The staff was very good. Overall a very good experience of staying here. Also very happy to see them take concrete steps in sustainability.

One of the best hotel in Udaipur. It has clear views from all the sides, rooms are spacious and cleanliness's is above 5 star.||Staff at hotel is always very help ful and food is fantastic. ||Pools are clean and parking is enough for all visitors.||You say it and you get it here at Fateh Garn

Great place to stay.very peaceful and scenic. Food was awesome. All Staff were very polite and helpful. Great hospitality. Although no pics of gym and indoor games but it is there and are very good. And if you are searching for calmness then this is the place.

We really liked our stay and the concept of this resort . Food , Ambience, cleanliness , staff all were perfect. We really liked the concept of flute player in breakfast area. It was very soothing and relaxing

Fake reviews seem quite common amongst Udaipur Hotels. So this is my attempt at giving a comprehensive review for anyone considering this property based on our stayed here in August for 3 nights. The Good - The property is impressive with enviable views across Udaipur. The views are particularly breathtaking at night. - The pool is the best I have seen and I have travelled a lot. - The staff are incredibly helpful from check in, breakfast, dinner and check out. - The breakfast was my favourite part of the day. With a gentleman playing the flute and the staff serving hot meals including dosa, as well as the buffet for any additional needs. The omlete here is one of the best I have tasted. A special thanks to Manish and other staff at breakfast for making us feel so welcome. - Lots of areas for photo opportunities. - Rooms are big and clean, with really good views and modern amenities like Forest Essentials toiletries. - Complimentary filtered water and tea and coffee making facilities provided in the room. The Not so Good - The properties is quite far out from Udaipur city and most sightseeing. It is up a gravelly hill so quite difficult to drive up and down. We could not get a taxi to come out to pick us up. We tried Uber, Ola and private taxi companies. The cheapest taxi was RPS 1200 to Udaipur City one way. So this isn't an ideal hotel for sight seeing. The hotel could improve on this by offering an electric buggy up and down the hill or a complimentary coach service to Udaipur City. - This is not a great choice for anyone that struggles with stairs or walking on an incline. Even with a small lift the hotel requires guests to be able to climb stairs or walk up an incline. - For a 'luxury' hotel it is a bit rough around the edges. We weren't offered a welcome drink or hot towels when we arrived. - The fridges in both our rooms weren't working throughout the stay. - There seems to be a tipping expectation for Services that I would expect to be a part of the basic service. I am happy to tip (and did tip) for Services that exceed my expectations but not for every service I receive. Overall, if you want to relax in a resort on the hills, this is a good option. If you want to visit sites in Udaipur, this isn't ideal. If I was visiting Udaipur again, I would stay in one of the central hotels for sightseeing and then come to this hotel for 1/2 nights relaxation.

While we had grat experience with room, view and food, the accessibility from room to car parking is at the mercy of their staff. They do not provide reliable mode of conveyance. The other route involves slopes, steep stairs and rocky hike to move between room and car parking which is extremely impractical and rather dangerous in poor weather/visibility conditions. Will never return to this property in future.

Khas Mahal is one of the best places I have ever visited! The property’s location is excellent, and the staff are very humble, friendly, and professional. Definitely a 10 out of 10!..

Great service and food. Views from property are awesome. Castle like build . You can see the city from the hotel. Lake view is also there.
