Compact restaurant offering Indo-Chinese cuisine & drinks amid an informal atmosphere.
"This Indo-Chinese restaurant has an almost cult-like following of lamb chop-yielding enthusiasts, claiming that Fatt Pundit’s chops are some of the best in London. And we can confirm that they are indeed meaty, tender, and a cause we can 100% get behind—but that’s not all we like. It’s a small space which means reservation times are respected, so even if your “friend” isn’t finished talking after an hour and a half, you’ll be politely asked to give up the table. The perfect segue for you to very obviously start checking Citymapper. " - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, sinead cranna, rianne shlebak
"We like to think about Fatt Pundit’s lamb chops whenever we feel sad. And the cult-like following of lamb chop-yielding enthusiasts who agree with us make getting a decent dinnertime reservation at this Soho spot pretty hard. But trust us, it’s worth coming for an early dinner to try the excellent Indo-Chinese food. Think deep-fried spinach leaves covered in a sweet yoghurt, date, and plum sauce and pomegranate seeds, or a creamy Malabar monkfish curry we’d drink through a straw. The 5pm booking also means the always-cramped space will feel that little bit more spacious." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, jake missing

And we can confirm that they are indeed meaty, tender, and a cause we can 100% get behind—but that’s not all that’s impressive. The menu is split into vegetarian, seafood, and meat dishes, meaning it’s great for a group of meat lovers, your vegetarian friend, or for a solo monkfish curry." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna
"This Indo-Chinese restaurant in Covent Garden is best enjoyed with hungry friends in a booth, as long as you’re a party who are partial to some of London’s best lamb chops. Across Fatt Pundit’s two always-lively floors, crackling spinach is eaten like popping candy, creamy Malabar monkfish curry is begrudgingly shared, and clean bowls of Bombay chilli prawns leave tables alongside a request for extra napkins. With its combination of four-people booths, high tables for two, and a downstairs room that could easily accommodate a large group, Fatt Pundit is a certified crowd-pleaser." - Jake Oliver, Rianne Shlebak, Heidi Lauth Beasley, Daisy Meager, Sinead Cranna
