My family and I have been ordering from Pierluigi for several years now, and his artisanal and authentic Christmas panettone has quickly become the highlight of our holiday. He bakes everything fresh by hand and is truly talented. We are so fortunate to have a taste of Italy in CT! Looking forward to his new cafe in 2025!

We took the sourdough class and had such a great time. Chef Pierluigi is such a great teacher and the bread we baked came out AMAZING! We celebrated the end the 2024 baking class season with (fresh mozzarella made at the begging of the class) fresh yummy assortment of cheeses, prosciutto and a bevy of fabulous spreads and BREAD! We can't wait for Chef Pierluigi to start his 2025 classes!

We had to stop by and see if the hype around Fatto a Mano was justified, and let me tell you, it absolutely is! We visited their new storefront and were so impressed. We tried the pizzette (mini pizzas), cornetto, and sourdough bread, and everything was fantastic—I’m already craving it again. The store also had some great takeaway items, so I picked up a few things to use as gifts. Line also moved very quickly

Hands down the best panettone I’ve ever had. I tried the traditional and the chocolate chip: light as air, buttery, delicately flavored. Growing up in an Italian family, panettone has been a staple item at Christmastime and I’ve tried many different kinds. Take it from a real Italian - this is the real deal.

This sourdough class was excellent. The instructors were well prepared, and their use of time was admirable. It's definitely helpful if you have some knowledge of bread baking. At the end of class, we had the opportunity to taste various samples of housemade spreads: feta with pesto was delicious. I look forward to taking another class with Fatto a Mano.

Stopped into the bakery today with my grandson. The sourdough reminds me of the bread my mother used to make. My office is nearby so I will certainly be stopping in a few times a week. The seating area is lovely with comfortable chairs and ample natural light, and a play area for kids.

I recently signed up for Pierluigis Sourdough Bread making class at the Fatto an Mano Bakery in Westport, CT and it was a 5 star experience all the way. I felt it was taught in an organized way so that home bakers could feel educated and empowered to make beautiful artisanal bread at home. We learned all the different stages of making sourdough and we were able to get our hands on some dough and learn the techniques from the master himself. He is a gentleman!! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

I went to Fatto a Mano yesterday. | What a bright, airy and open space. I had to wait in line but it was so worth it. So many choices, i didn't know what to have. I selected a savory cornetto which was out of this world. I also had an espresso Watching the barista work was like watching an artist work. The end result was the best espresso I have ever had- even in Naples. It was so delicious I ordered another one. I sat at a bistro table with a friend near the window with sunshine streaming in. After finishing our food we looked at all the wonderful products from Italy for purchase. The decor is pleasing to the eye and very beautiful with a blend of nostalgia and class. I could go on. I highly recommend you try this wonderful bakery. I forgot to mention the best sourdough bread ever. I am looking forward to going tomorrow for a cappuccino and pastry for breakfast.
