Hidden in the peaceful Tuscan countryside, Fattoria San Martino is a true gem for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy honest, nourishing food. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with kind people who make you feel instantly at home. We stopped for a lunch. The risotto with zucchini, olives, and a drizzle of pure olive oil, absolutely fantastic. The touch of freshly grated lemon zest made it bright and refreshing, the perfect dish for a hot summer day. The quality of the local ingredients really comes through in every bite, and you leave feeling both satisfied and well. A place that truly feeds both body and soul.

This is one of the most special and magical places we have EVER stayed. In the foothills of Montepulciano, with stunning views over the rolling hills - but walkable into town!! Karin and are team are so warm, welcoming and friendly, happy to chat, share local suggestions or just answer your questions about the area or property. Karin is SO cool and has created a beautiful oasis- nothing is ever too much bother to make your experience special. The bonus is her cute dog cosetta that follows her around and comes find you for pats! The food is incredible, although vegetarian, it’s bursting with flavour and made with so much love and attention, some of the best food we ate in Tuscany! Lastly the size of the place makes it feel intimate and all the guests were so friendly, we all chatted and hung out at the pool at dinner which felt special. The natural pool is so gorgeous for a dip after a hot afternoon in the town, Basically stay here, you won’t regret it! I cried when I left because I had such a nice time .

Hands down one of the most beautiful, and peaceful places my wife and I have ever stayed — and food that is honestly better than Michelin star restaurants we’ve eaten at! We stayed here for a 3 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. It’s small and quaint, but so, so well designed and thought out. It’s like a more homely and welcoming version of a Soho House. And the food is absolutely outstanding! We were in Tuscany for over a week, and ate at some amazing places — even the 3 Michelin star Osteria Francescana restaurant by Massimo Bottura in Modena. However this was by far the best food we ate, so we came back 2 evenings in a row! I’m not vegetarian (my wife is), but this food is world class by any standards or diet, and it’s just a bonus that anyone can eat here. We seriously cannot recommend staying here enough. The rooms are amazing, the grounds are so peaceful, the pool delightful, and the location just perfect. We’ll be coming back many times in the future!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a stunning vegetarian restaurant nestled in the heart of Tuscany. The farm-to-table setting offers not only delicious meals but also breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, making it a truly memorable experience. The pace of service follows the traditional Italian style—unhurried, allowing you to savor every bite and soak in the beautiful atmosphere. What stood out most was the care and love with which each dish was prepared and presented. The flavors were rich and wholesome, with every ingredient tasting fresh and vibrant. We were so impressed by our first visit that we came back with a group of friends to share the delightful experience with them, and they were equally blown away. If you're looking for an authentic, slow-paced, and heartwarming meal in Tuscany, this place is a must-visit. The combination of peaceful surroundings and delicious vegetarian cuisine makes it a hidden gem.

This is a review of the cooking class with Marta. While the class was lovely and we enjoyed being outdoors, we asked Marta several times via email, as she had promised us during the class, for the recipes for dishes we made together. She didn’t provide them or respond. The whole point of attending the class was to learn vegan recipes I could recreate at home in the US, but I don’t have even general recipes to work from. I would recommend a different vegan class that will allow you to enjoy what you learn to cook while you are back home.

Yelp
We had an amazing vegan meal - they prepared 5 courses for our table of 6 vegans, and each course was better than the next. Everything was so fresh - so many ingredients straight from their garden. We sat outside and enjoyed an incredible evening! Perfect!!
