Fattoria Uccelliera Cantina

We randomly picked Uccelliera for a tasting so did not know what to expect but we can really recommend it. It’s a beautiful vineyard with amazing hosts. We had the tasting of 3 wines with food and spend an amazing afternoon there. Tiziana is a lovely host and she recommend some great local spots.

We spent 2 weeks in and around Fauglia exploring the region from this vineyard! This is an outstanding experience and of course set in the most beautiful idillic surroundings. However, this place is exceptional, the vineyard has been beautifully curated over the years with fabulous buildings and spaces to enjoy jaw dropping moments. Once the sun passes over the yardarm the fine wines are flowing. The wines are well developed, thought through and designed for competent drinking, with a superiority and quality that can only be bottled from this kind of beauty, we much enjoyed!!! Non pretentious relaxed Italian wine tasting a real treat! Ridiculously looked after by the family we greatly appreciated the hospitality and were lucky to have experienced the picking of the grapes! Simply amazing! We will be back!

Wine testing was great, we started with the history of the 3rd generation wine yard owners. Then we could preselect what wines we love and then taste them. Tasting was prepared upfront in dedicated room with many historical bottles at the walls. You may also select how many wines you want to taste. We were left alone, and from time to time we got another wine bottle opened glass filled and described. We choose also option with many home made honey, jams, olive oil, prosciutto and cheese. It was wonderful, calm time to enjoy Italian best wines.

Fantastic place. Great wine and fun family owned business. Some of the absolute best wine in the region. Have been here twice and will continue to return.

Traveling with a group of 27, We enjoyed a comfortable visit to the beautiful estate, which featured a wine tasting and a delicious light lunch on the farm estate. It was terrific!

We visited in September of 2017 from North Carolina. We loved this place and we consider it our Italian Winer :)

The wines were ok but could have done with more explanation about the wines and the history of the place. Felt like we were rushing to get out of there. Wines seem a bit overpriced for what they are. Scenery was beautiful and overall the service was nice. Food to pair with wine was simple but good, prosciutto and cheese of course the truffle honey. Recommend a visit but go with low expectations.

Very nice relaxed wine tasting. Had 6 wines that we're good, not amazing. Plenty of bread, honey, cheese, jams and an extra bottle of each wine after tasting if you wanted another glass. Ours cost 20€.
