Amazing coffee and food. Great fast service. We loved the food presentation too, everything looked so appetising and tasted good too. Highly recommended for a relaxed breakfast-lunch

Google
We had an incredible breakfast at Fauna & Flora in Lisbon! The gluten-free options were amazing—sweet potato in place of toast was a total game-changer. Every dish was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, and the whole place had a vibrant, jungle-chic vibe with lush plants everywhere. A total gem—don’t miss it!

Google
I really liked this place, it's cozy, bright and there's a lot of space. The service is very attentive and fast, the food is prepared quickly. The food looks very nice. Most of all, I liked the caramel latte, the most delicious in the city. Thanks

Google
Weekend brunch at @faunaeflora.santos was a whole scene — and we mean that in the best way. From 7-year-olds to grown-up foodies (hi, it’s us), everyone found something to love on the menu. It was packed when we arrived, and while the wait was real and a few dishes came out a little overdone, the fresh juices, fluffy pancakes, and avo toast still hit the spot. Perfect pit stop before leaving Lisbon! Would we go back? Yes — just with a reservation next time. Tag your brunch crew & save this for your next Lisbon trip! #PortiaInPortugal #LisbonEats #BrunchInLisbon #FamilyFoodie #FaunaeFlora #PortugalWithKids #WanderingWoodsEats #TravelWithKids #LisbonFoodScene #BrunchReview

Tuna quinoa (added avocado), terrycow, and the burger were amazingly delicious. We also had the flora green juice and for dessert, acai bowl. Definitely coming back. Great customer service. Place is really cute. Totally recommend.

Google
I ordered pancakes and acai bowl. Both were very good. I would definitely come back if I'm in the neighborhood.

Google
The pancakes were delicious and healthy. Loved the coffee and the juice of the day as well. The plants create a cozy atmosphere in the cafe

Google
Lovely friendly attentive staff, a relaxed atmosphere, amazing breakfast food at such a reasonable price! We got the cacaobana smoothie bowl to share which was absolutely incredible - highly recommend! I got the pancakes with coconut and mango cream and my friend got the bacon and Brie bagel - delicious!! Couldn’t recommend more.

Yelp
Our first eating experience in Lisboa, this place is a hidden gem in Chiado. Food: like the whole trip, I ended up getting some sort of egg and salmon on sourdough bread and it did not disappoint. My friend's pancakes looked great too. Service: unfortunately I do not remember the name of the girls who helped us, but they was very nice. Ambiance: Instagram worthy with a beautiful outdoor feature and bar which was nice to sit by as the trolley came on by.

Yelp
Fauna & Flora is a lively and vibrant brunch spot in Lisbon, perfect for avocado toast lovers! Their avocado toasts were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was energetic and exciting, making it a great place to start the day. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the service was just okay--not bad, but not particularly attentive. That said, the food and ambiance more than made up for it, and I'd still recommend it for a delicious and trendy brunch experience!

Yelp
I absolutely enjoyed my visit to Fauna & Flora. My friends and I stumbled across this spot while searching for a place to eat before the check-in time for our Airbnb. We came at sort of an odd hour (~2pm) and didn't have any trouble being seated. This place is beautifully decorated with fresh plants, and in the warmer months the doors are open to let in a nice breeze. The price for entrees was reasonable and with generous portions. All ingredients were fresh, and plating was so creative. The service wasn't the best, but the ambiance almost makes up for it.

Yelp
Good brunch spot in the Chaido neighborhood. Relatively large sized modern looking interior with fast service. The food was good, but we felt the presentation of the dishes was superior to the actual taste. For example, when eating the benedicts we noticed that the eggs were slightly undercooked and the bread needed to be toasted a bit longer. All that being said, the meal was still tasty, the coffee was great, and the prices were very reasonable. I'd recommend giving this place a try.

Yelp
Food was so great. The basil mayo on the bagel was such a wonderful touch it made it so delicious. The pancakes were so yummy. Perfect balance of peanut butter and chocolate. BEST cappuccino I had in Lisboa. Service was so helpful and kind. It's such a cute restaurant inside with plants and pastries all around. I definitely recommend!

Yelp
I am not lying or speaking out of turn when I say this restaurant has the best Pancakes in the world! Now that I got that out of my system, I can say without a doubt, I am sort of a pancake connoisseur if you will. I have had American pancakes in the US (countless breakfast establishments), In Mexico, in Canada, in Spain, in Portugal (other restaurants), Japan, and none of them compared to the genius creations that this fine establishment bestowed upon us those mornings. Yes, there were multiple mornings during our stay in Portugal that we rushed here for Breakfast/Brunch. After trying those marvelous passion fruit reduction with coconut cream topping pancakes I came back 3 times to have them again and again! Servers are friendly and attentive, very busy breakfast/brunch spot but it is definitely worth ALL of the hype. I think many American brunch spots could take a few tips from this place. The avocado toasts (there are many flavor combos to choose from) are amazing. Had the one with shredded beef, I forgot the exact name on the menu but very delicious. Also the one topped with a mound of Arugula, as well as the Salmon Lox style one.The pancakes with bacon and an egg on top were also quite delicious. You cannot go wrong with any of their breakfast options even their açaí fruit bowl was one of the best I've had! Smoothies and fresh juices are also top notch. Just over all Breaky/Brunch-lovers' Dream! I was here back in April of 2021, the reason it took me so long to post this review is because at that point Yelp was not very big in Europe and this restaurant was not posted as a business on Yelp as of that time. This should signify how passionate I am about this place!

Yelp
Cute ambience, really eye catching spot filled with beautiful plants However left this place feeling like it was overhyped. Maybe we didn't order the right things? The juice felt watered down - recommend going for a smoothie instead. The iberico egg Benedict- glad they didn't over cook the egg but the flavors leaned on sweet over savory. Nice to try once but won't be back again.

Yelp
Decent brunch spot. They were able to accommodate 8 people so that's great. The actual brunch was fine (probably more of a 3 for me) but the vibes are cute. I got one of the avocado toasts with mushrooms and there was very little flavor. The pancakes were better than the savory dishes. The affogado was great!

Yelp
one of the first places we tried while in Lisbon! Overall fresh food & delicious! I had the Ninho de Salmão & tried simple pancakes. My friend had the matcha pancakes which she enjoyed! Overall a cute place to visit if you're ever in the area!
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
I stopped by since the place is filled with plants and has a cute ambiance. The food, however, was just okay. I had a caramel latte which was milk and caramel so I would not recommend. The banana and oats simple pancake tasted a little dry with the berries. Perhaps a syrup should come with it.

Yelp
(Traveler tips below!) 1. Wait at the door to be seated 2. You pay by the bar, they don't come to your table 3. This place gets really packed so during peak times you can't study or work from this coffee shop. (I recommend going to Dual for that -- only a 6 minute walk) Breakfast at Fauna & Flora is a MUST if you're in Bairro Alto. From the tropical flavored pancakes (I personally recommend the Tropicalia and the Matcha green) to the salty dishes -- everything comes out quickly and tastes incredible The only miss for me was the coffee. Maybe I'm not familiar with coffee ordering here but the caramel latte tasted like oat milk with caramel sauce and when I asked for it iced, it had 2 little ice cubes that quickly watered down my drink Other than that, this place is aesthetic af for your pictures

Yelp
My friend and I were recommended this restaurant by TikTok before going to Portugal this past summer & we were not disappointed! The vibe is green and full of plant life! It was aesthetically pleasing for all your foodstagram and selfie needs. The pancakes were fluffy and the drinks hit just right before a nice stroll through Portugal.

Yelp
One of the highlights of my trip- this amazing brunch spot!! So good I went TWICE on a trip, and that says a lot. The price is very reasonable and way better than American brunch prices. You could get a brunch item and juice for around $15 more or less. It's super aesthetic with all the plants, and it's a great spot to dine in whether it's indoor or outdoor. The Iberica Toast was chef's kiss. I switched out the bread for sweet potato and it's a solid choice. Crispy prosciutto, caramelized onion, brie cheese....I mean!!!! Their Salmon Nest is a fun one too. I really miss going to this brunch spot and would recommend anyone visiting Lisbon. The service was super friendly as well.
google avatar

Casey T.

Yelp
Excellent brunch spot! If you come early, there is generally no wait and it's pretty empty - but it does get pretty busy during peak times. I got the bacon nest and it was divine, the presentation was spectacular and the food - delicious! The outdoor seating was very picturesque with the backdrop of pastel buildings, and the indoor area was pretty spacious and lively as well.

Yelp
I came here solo during the day while I waited for my friends. It was crowded on Thursday around early afternoon and I sat immediately because I was only one. I would make reservations if you have a group! I loved that this restaurant had healthy fresh options. I ordered a few things. I got the avocado toast with mushroom with the eggs scrambled. I like that they give you the option to change the egg because I do not like runny egg. I got a turmeric ginger latte and a shot of espresso. The prices were very reasonable and the staff were friendly. Definitely a great instagrammable hot spot!

Yelp
Wow. This place is worth every effort in going. It's definitely always packed, but we were quickly seated. It's a bit of an incline if you sit outside, so just be wary of that. But food is so good and creative here. The fruit pancakes we had were thick and sweet, and the salmon nest was a really interesting dish that featured a lot of avocado. And the sangrias are amazing. Super affordable place. Highly recommend if you're in Lisbon!

Yelp
As soon as we arrived they greeted us very nice! The food was very delicious. I very thing well made and beautiful presentation. I must say if you order smoothies they are not cold or frozen, it's more like a room temperature. Comes in a relatively small glass cup and them I realized they put two big pieces of ice. The taste of the food made up for this, but I wouldn't order smoothies again. That's why I'm reviewing a 4 start. Also we waited 20 plus minutes to get someone to come to the table.
google avatar

Nicolette T.

Yelp
This is the best brunch spot in the whole wide world. Make sure to make a reservation, as it is a well loved spot. The menu is just perfect. Our table ordered matcha pancakes, a bacon nest, and a bagel sandwich. Each was so good. We ordered fresh smoothies and lattes too. Everything we ate was so good and fresh. We went back the next day. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Brenda A.

Yelp
Such a cute little spot. Definitely thought we'd be run over by sitting outside and the table was so small and uncomfortable with no place to put our bags so we moved inside the first chance we could. Never really knew who the waitress was after that but everyone continued to check on us. I had the salty and I ate every bit.

Yelp
Fauna & Flora lived up to their expectations. My friend and I made a reservation for two but I ended up coming here alone because she was recovering from food poisoning. I didn't want to miss out and cancel the reservation so I showed up solo with my handy dandy kindle. The restaurant was full of greenery and had a homey vibe to it so reading at brunch fit right in. The employees were so great. I showed up to find out it was a cash only establishment so I had to go get money out of the ATM around the corner. They sat me shortly after my reservation so I could do that which was nice. They had an extensive menu full of delicious options, it was hard to pick just one so I ordered two things! I ordered a bagel sandwich of some kind and some pancakes with fruit on them. I can't exactly remember the names of what I ordered are but you really can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Overall a fantastic and lovely brunch spot that everyone should experience when in Lisbon!
google avatar

Ben P.

Yelp
Great restaurant with a fun vibe. They have an interesting menu of delicious options including a lot of pancakes worth trying. The service was attentive and great, and the place had so many plants! Very cute and definitely worth the wait to get a table.

Yelp
Super cute brunch spot! Food and coffee was very tasty, service was friendly fast and in English. They have both inside and outside seating!

Amir M.

Yelp
Tropical pancake (with mango topping) was great. Service and ambiance are good and process reasonable.

Kaitlyn J.

Yelp
Came here with no expectations and left so content and full. The environment is very chill and good for studying or conversation. Had the Thaio bowl and would 100% order again. So delicious. Definitely would return :)

Deshawn L.

Yelp
Great vegan pancakes, friendly staff, coffee and ambience. The menu is robust (many non vegan options for meat lovers like myself :)). I definitely recommend.
google avatar

Anthony S.

Yelp
Don't order anything with a bagel if you expect a bagel. Their bagels aren't anything close to a bagel, but rather they are bread rings. If you like bread rings then get a bagel, but don't bother if you're looking for a classic chewy New York style bagel. The pancakes are good, but are dry and could use more syrup.
google avatar

Mimi W.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended. The food was good but not great. Maybe we just got the wrong items. We had pancakes, eggs, açaí bowl, avocado toast with salmon, and smoothies. Very busy and great staff.
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
A pretty place full of flowers and plants. The crowd is young, hip, and mostly female. The menu consists of breakfast and brunch food and as a New Yorker, it's pretty much typical food on a Sunday afternoon. The food is presented nicely and everything coming out of the kitchen looks amazing. But that's where it stops. The actual taste is just okay. There is nothing special about the flavors or combination of ingredients the menu impresses you with. If you're a snobbish American like myself, stick to the Portuguese food. That's why you're in Portugal, no?
google avatar

Jen D.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to order Uber eats from when we were in Covid quarantine in Estoril. Once we were out of quarantine we walked down there to eat on the patio and it was just as good.
google avatar

Darcie N.

Yelp
So, so good. Kid-friendly (they had high chairs!) and the staff was so kind. We came back here multiple times because everything was so good. Highly recommend the pancakes with berries & their fresh OJ
google avatar

Yelp
Really vibey and great breakfast place and coffee shop decorated with a lot of plants.

Yelp
Bacon, egg & brie bagel. The bagel itself, very soft and airy and a very generous amount of brie on top.

Yelp
Super savory ! I loved this place 10/10 recommend. I was on the search for something healthy and delicious, and this place did not disappoint !

Yelp
Relaxing and friendly neighborhood restaurant. Really enjoyed the healthy food and drinks.

Yelp
One of the Fauna & Flora locations was right next to our hotel in the Chiado district and we are so glad it was. We went several times during our trip for brunch/lunch and dinner. My favorites were the salmon nest and chicken curry but those are just a couple of the items we had and everything from the food to the drinks was delicious. Also love the design and atmosphere here.

Yelp
After a few days in London and Lisbon eating delicious food, I was craving something healthier and was so glad we were living close to Flora and Fauna. Flora and Fauna is a vegan friendly cafe located close to Santos station in Lisbon. The exterior was a bit hard for me to find because of how hidden it looked but the pop of green really helped me spot it. The interior was a total contrast to the outside because it was brightly lit with pops of colour and plants everywhere. Their menu mostly consists of breakfast style items including smoothie bowls, smoothies, toasts, pancakes and waffles. They also have a feature menu for new items that they are just trying out. Although there were lots of options on the menu, I decided to go with the detox smoothie bowl because I hadn't had greens in a while. It was the least dessert-like out of all the options but it was what I needed. The smoothie had avocado, apple, spinach, lemon, ginger and spirulina. It was then topped with some roasted nuts, seeds, kiwi, orange segments and coconut flakes.

Mateus d.

Yelp
The space is a little small so you can expect some waiting time. Very nice decoration and cozy atmosphere. The toast was amazing! They also offer iced coffees which I recommend! I thought the pancakes were a bit too much for one person.
google avatar

Daniela G.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this busy spot and were drawn in by the extensive menu. Delicious creative healthy food. Nice boho vibe. Would definitely go back.
google avatar

Sandy L.

Yelp
This was a busy brunch spot with plenty of seating inside and on the street, and a cool vibe. We especially enjoyed the Tropicale pancakes and the fresh juice. Portions were a good size and the service was pretty good as well.
google avatar

Chanel N.

Yelp
Very healthy food options and beautiful ambiance! This place was recommended by a friend and close to our Airbnb. It was a great breakfast choice. I had the Avotoast with a Caramel Latte. Yum
google avatar

Erin C.

Yelp
Delicious brunch with lots of menu options. The toasts were especially our favorite because of how many toppings they had and how unique they were. Also fantastic freshly squeezed juice. Service was a bit slow so wouldn't go here if you have a train to catch, but staff was very polite and apologetic. Seemed like a busy day and would definitely go back there. Get a reservation for busy brunch times because this place was bustling in the morning even on a weekday
google avatar

Melanie J.

Yelp
The service wasn't amazing but the place was always packed and the food and drinks were great! I went about three times during my stay. Probably one of the best vegan restaurants I found! From matcha lattes and pancakes to amazing bowls!

Yelp
The staff is so polite. Great food, and an easy menucard. I had the paradise smoothie wich was very good, cold and fresh. And then i also had the acai Bowl, that i really enjoyd, cause it was colorfull, and filled with good fruits and was very tasty. I WANNA GO THERE AGAIN

Hanna K.

Yelp
Nice staff. Lovely ambiance. Decent prices. Tasty food. I gave them four stars because the guy split the bill and charged us an extra 3 euros when doing so.

Yelp
This is an Instagram-able place and that's probably the extent of it. The ambiance is just fine and reflects that purpose. There are too many menu items which leads to weird combos like the tropicalia pancakes (too many fruit) and the iberica toast (carmelized onions and Brie combo is too sweet with extra salty bacon). The bagels are bad (definitely baked not boiled) and were overly dense and dry. Additionally the service awful. It took more than 30 mins for a server to take our order and the servers did not know the name of a single drink, leading to mixups and a long time between drink deliveries. We wanted a sauce but no server came near us for 30 minutes so we had to go inside to ask, and the first server didn't know what hot sauce was and the second did and promised to bring it to the table. He didn't. We asked again (another 30 mins later), and were promised that someone would bring it to the table. They didn't. Some recommendations would be the orange sun cocktail, summertime cocktail, espresso martini, and baga pancakes.

Yelp
Fauna & Flora was my favourite restaurant in all of Lisbon. The interior is a mix of greenhouse and hipster. From the moment you walk in, your eyes are directed towards the geometric lights and the hanging plants draping from the walls and the bar area. They have several tables and chairs along the side, a couple high tables and bar stools, and a lounge area with a couch and coffee table. When we arrived, it was a busy weekday morning and around 10:30am. We were offered a crossword looking pink and yellow menu with seemingly unlimited delicious choices to pick from and water with paper straws (yay!). We ended up ordering a nest. Yes, a nest. A bacon nest. That's two avocados, half baked with bacon (and there happened to be some salmon underneath - don't know if that was on purpose or an accident) and a sous vide egg on top of a crispy kataifi nest. YOU MUST TRY THIS! We also ordered an Acai Bowl and a Matcha pancake with a lemon-y coulis/curd drizzle. AMAZING. Fresh, rich, wakes-you-up kinda breakfast food. I'd order all of it again. It is worth every euro! If I ever happen to be back in Lisbon, I'd come again to Fauna & Flora!

Yelp
Absolutely amazing brunch with incredible vibes. Food tasted fresh and nourishing while also feeling like a treat. Coffee was great too. Friendly staff and the wait went by quickly. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Beautiful cafe, delicious food options and wonderful staff!! I wandered in from my nearby Airbnb and they had the perfect breakfast/ brunch menu. They have options for every diet and gorgeous, fresh ingredients. Their iced tea had a hint of warm spices and their açaí bowl was refreshing after a hot day of walking around. Highly recommended!
