This place has THE BEST ribs I’ve had in ages - at a reasonable price and in a classic rustic atmosphere. Service is fast but minimal. This is a local’s favorite I feel lucky to have discovered.

Best Rostbratwurst in Erfurt. Really delicious meat from charcoal grill and beer from tap.

Faustfood is a family restaurant that shines in what does, really. I was recommended to try the “Wurst” and burgers by two of my friends so we went there and it was absolutely amazing. The wurst is well grilled and delicious,! the burgers were juicy, very well made and the french fries were the best. I simply cannot recommend this enough! It’s an absolute must try.

Good and friendly service, the order was made and brought relatively fast, American Pils was at the top (comparing with the Imperial Stout which seemed like the mix of Kwas and Whiskey, i don’t know why). The burgers were amazing, i highly recommend to take Wagye barbecue bacon burger 🤌🏼

I'm Australian and I have to say, Thüringen definitely has us beat in the barbecue game. The bratwurst in brötchen is life-changing. The brätel with kartoffelpuffer is awesome as well. Lovely staff and fair prices

The best spare ribs, Kartoffelpuffer, chicken burger and Thüringer Bratwurst I've ever had and I was just lucky enough to visit right before the kitchen was closed. The service was very friendly and they didn't even bother to explain how things work there.

I went to Faustfood 2 times already and will continue going there again. The spareribs is so tender and delicious. The chips (Pommes) and dipping sauces are also tasty. I haven’t tried other menus yet because I am still falling in love with the spareribs 😋

Tasty BBQ here. The dry aged beef burger is excellent, so juicy and flavorful. The ribs we pretty good too. Hard to find a better BBQ restaurant in Erfurt.

Walking around Erfurt to look for a lunch place and stumbled across this place. Although they did not speak English, they were very nice and worked with me through hand gestures. I ordered the lamb skewers and a coffee. The coffee comes from an automated machine so maybe not the freshest or best you can find. However, I found the food makes up for it by far. The lamb was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. There is something great about being able to see your meal cooked right in front of you. The peppers added the right amount of heat to the meat. Definitely a great find on a random walk to find food!

Can't say the service here is very good, they're a bit grumpy behind the counter, which would annoy me if their food wasn't SOOOOO GOOOOOOOD. These guys know how to work a grill. Every meat temp I've ever had here was on point. The char on the outside is beautiful. The quality of the meat is evident even before it's cooked, you can see it right in the case. Beer selection could be better, if these guys got some nice craft beer in there, it would really elevate the whole place. But really, when your meat is that good, it can be forgiven. The ambiance is awesome, really casual, looks like the place used to be an old stable. Benches, tables, and bar seating make everything no frills casual, in the best way. All in all, one of my favorite spots in Erfurt.

Excellent place for great Bratwurst and other German fare. They even serve ribs and burgers, all on a BBQ right in the establishment. Very tasty, great price.

I love it, meat grilled to your request over charcoal. Choice of several meats but i had the bar-b-que ribs. no fried food available. Everything is grilled. choose from several healthy veggie sides. Seats about 30 from my memory on several large tables. Food is priced lower than my expectation. Open relaxed atmosphere. Go ahead and try it, if youre a carnivore you'll like it. For me it's a unique place, I've not seen similar.
