This is a bright, open concept, modern industrial style eatery. They have a drive-thru. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and find a seat. They will give you a table number and bring your order when it is ready.
The menu is small but fresh. We got the Asian salad and added chicken. The French toast and a side of butter ($1 extra). My daughter came shortly after and ordered a turkey on ciabata.
First impression was that everyone was very friendly and smiled. No one was standing around doing nothing.
Our order came out and it looked delicious. My grandkids split the French toast and couldn't finish it. It was delightful. Fresh strawberries, bananas and toasted pecans atop a thick bread, sister with powder sugar and an amazing homemade syrup.
The salad I would give a 4 star. Definitely fresh. Crisp cabbage, edamame, broccoli, cucumbers, carrots, mandarin slices and a small grilled chicken breast. First off, I'm not a fan of getting a salad on a small plate. It looks beautiful but just isn't practical to eat without the tower of veggies falling off the plate. Secondly, I think the dressing needs more oomph. It's just lacking in flavor. Although a good salad, I think this one missed the mark a little.
When our food was brought out, the server only brought 2 napkin set ups even though there were 3 of us. So I had to get up and get an extra fork and napkins for my meal.
My daughter came shortly after we got our food and ordered a turkey ciabata. It came out promptly (didn't get a picture). The bread was amazing. The sandwich was warm. The textures were perfect. Truly delightful! I would order again!
The place was very clean and welcoming. The bathrooms, as my grandson said, were beautiful... And clean.
The one other thing I am not a fan of, but I know this is becoming more common, is the expected tip BEFORE service. I'm sorry, but I don't do that. Carry Cash and tip accordingly after service. My daughter got the tip on her order, but again... Just my thoughts.
Go enjoy this place. I will need to come back and try the biscuit wand gravy because it looks amazing.
