Faz Figura

Took a friend visiting from Miami to dine there and she loved it. Our dishes were amazing, incredible selection of wine, gorgeous view over Santa Apolónia train station and Tejo river. Overall this place is great for an intimate date or a fun casual dinner with friends.

Great river view. Very good quality food, beautiful presentation and subtle flavors. Would give at least four stars, if not five, if it was only for the food. Minus: waiter could not recommend wines to combine with the food. The one we ordered was clearly off (strange color and flavor) but seemed normal to the waiter. Restaurant not well cleaned. We sat close to the windows and it was dirty in and out, and so was the toilet.

Quite the meal at Faz Figura! It was a bit off as we were the only ones dining there - but the good and service were excellent. We had the couvert, scallops starter, house salad, lamb, and pork. Everything was very well-prepared and delicious. The pork belly was absolutely incredible - one of the best dishes I had in Portugal.

Unsuspecting exterior hosts a very nice restaurant behind its doors. The sea bass was lovely but the orange sauce has more of a mango flavor - still cleared my plate. The toasted brioche is good but could use a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side to really take it up a notch.

For a special occasion. Nice view of the Tejo. We had a table on the terrace. As it was a lovely evening it was open. Romantic atmosphere. The food and wine is excellent. Service professional, kind and attentive. Altogether a great experience well worth the money.

Beautiful view. Feels like they put a roof onto a square. Really liked the location. We didn’t eat a whole lot at Faz Figura. I don’t accept to load a menu on my phone from QR code or anyway. We already get way too much screen time. I asked that they bring a paper menu and they declined. Then I asked that the waitress read to me the menu, because I’m not going to a sit down restaurant, slow food, and read a menu from a screen. She was clearly surprised and had no idea what to do. I hope next time I visit they will have a better alternative. If not, I might not stay if they do get another visit from me. A small chalk board with pertinent items might solve this problem. Also just having a few paper menus from fussy customers like me might be a good start. Innovation where it’s due. Old school where we don’t need innovation. Also a clear display at the table that they do not accept non cash forms of payment would be a logical common courtesy. Thank you!

The new Faz Figura in Taguspark is a great experience for executive lunch. Great dishes made of good quality ingredients, good wine included in the executive menu, nice waiters who know what they are talking about. Space outside will be great for summer night dinners. Parking availability and good accessibility for wheelchairs.

Why put the water away where you can’t see it. The food did not live up to expectation. My food was cold, and the proportion of fish to sauce. My sons was too intellectual and without soul

I loved everything about this restaurant! Amazing meal (I had the best sea-bass I've ever tasted on a bed of black rice with an orange sauce), great view of the river and a stellar waiter who provided the best service and excellent recommendations. So good that we went here twice on our first and last night in Lisbon!

Firstly the view from outside the restaurant before entry is a must picture spot. Enter into The waiting area and foyer and then onto the second stunning view of the water. Magnificent. Group dinner but the service and attention to us was impressive. The mushroom soup had deep flavors snd was really laden with mushrooms. Light but tasty. Fois gra (!) was available Ruth light toast - nice! The shrimp curry was understated in that the heat was low but the flavor snd spices high. A nice combo over rice. Cheeses and breads at the end was over the top. What a superb evening!!!

The fact that there was a large group and the item that I really wanted to try was sold out. That was the disappointment. However the service was great and their take on traditional items was amazing. Great selection of wine. The head waiter really knows their pairings. My first time eating a Michelin rate restaurant. Was a good experience.!

This restaurant is on the Michelin guide for multiple years. Great view of the river but food is mediocre. Had the cod fish with spinach and pork (traditional Portuguese style) with potatoes. Both are ok but could be better.

Superb food,superb setting, good service. I will return as often as I can. Tuna steak perfect, good wines, surprising and great chocolate crumble. Waiter and staff friendly and knowledgeable.
