Fazenda Nova Country House

Amazing! Every detail has been thought about. The rooms are large, have super comfortable big beds, beautifully decorated, incredible bathrooms with heated floors, etc. the staff is so kind and helpful and the owners are wonderful. We had a change in plans and they were more than happy to accommodate what we asked for. Rooms and property is immaculately maintained and beautiful. So quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is also great. We will certainly be back. Thanks again.

We were told we could have dinner with proper notice which we gave. The manager said he wasn’t working at nite but might be able to find someone to cook. We said we’ll go out only to return & find other guests eating. Then we asked for ice and were told we’d have to find and buy our own. Cannot recommend this place. The cleanliness was not great. Nothing close by & no place to buy ice. Perhaps anti American?

My fiancé and I spent our last night in Portugal at the Fazenda Nova Country House, and to be completely honest, we would travel to Portugal again just to stay at this exquisite property. The property is nestled between groves of olive and fruit trees in farm country, and offers breathtaking views from all angles. The grounds are well kept and quiet, with the exception of the wildlife singing. The groundleepers do a fantastic job grooming the fruit trees and gardens, all eloquently tended, and strategically placed to allow a guest to walk freely and admire the surroundings. The service was incredible, charming staff, available to assist if needed. A small pool with cabanas offered relief from the sun, and the kitchen on site offered food and beverages poolside throughout the day. The room was beautiful, well designed, and chic. There is plenty of natural light and privacy. However, I can not begin to explain how good the food was. It stole the show for me. The chef was brilliant. He genuinely had a passion for guest experience, ingredients were sourced locally, the quality of the produce was insane, presentation in point, and the finesse in temperature of each dish was spectacular. The five course meal was served open air, and we made our arrangements for dinner with the front desk. Breakfast was equally as impressive, served every morning in the same fashion. 10/10 would recommend Fazenda Nova Country House to anyone traveling this region of Portugal or flying into Faro, an excellent way to begin your journey in Portugal. Top notch service, excellent food, and fine attention to detail.

Stayed at Fazenda Nova in June 2024, and the hotel was truly excellent. We had a cancelled and then delayed flight (nothing to do with the hotel) but the hotel staff were happy to extend our stay free of charge to cover the missed night, upgrade us to a suit, and were able to provide food and drink at 2am when we finally turned up. Excellent customer service, and really helped us to get our holiday back on track after a stressful couple of days with flights. Had a excellent breakfast every day, hotel was quiet, relaxed and peaceful. Swimming pool was great. Would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a week or two to rest and recover.

One of the best hotel I've ever stayed at! Everything was perfect 10/10 Our flight was delayed by 28hrs and the staff checked in on us regularly to see if there was anything they could do to help, this was so kind and unexpected and reduced our stress level so much. We felt cared for before even arriving. So yeah, the customer service is impeccable, the building is gorgeous, the vibe so peaceful and relaxing and the food delicious. I strongly recommend it and can't wait to come back!

After 22 years of visiting the Algarve Portugal, we have come across the most beautiful place . accommodation. The staff could not do enough for you and are always eager to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. My wife and I couldn’t think of a better place to go if you want to get away relax and have some selfish me time. We met the owners, John and his wife They were lovely, they bent over backwards to get the perfect place for our special evening meal. So thank you for making out holiday so perfect.. Looking forward to returning very very soon.

Don’t waste your money here. • The rooms were very dirty (mold and cobwebs); • Woken up several times in the middle of the night due to failing lights; • We were without water for days (unable to shower or flush the toilet). The photos say it all.

We were looking for a relaxing break for 4 nights in September 2024 and found the best place. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the accommodation and facilties exceptional and the overall feeling was one of relaxation. Tavira is close by and has one of the best beaches at Ilhe de Tavira which is a short boat ride from the Town. The hotel has a intimate restaurant and the food and atmosphere were superb. Would we come back? Definately - we had a great time here and recommend to anyone looking for a quality, attentive and exclusive establishment.
