Fazer is the oldest café in Helsinki, so we wanted to experience it at this branch. The desserts were really good — we loved them both in terms of presentation and taste. Dessert prices range between 7 and 9 euros. In addition to the dining area, they also offer packaged chocolates.

Fantastic service, great dark roast coffee (free refills) and cappuccino and a wide variety of bakery and confectionery items. The Finnish rice pie with egg butter is an interesting item on the menu to try. Love the modern classic vibe with the lighting, seating and displays.

Google
Absolutely divine! I had the gluten-free, lactose-free chocolate & raspberry cake — it was so delicate, rich, and simply perfect. The oat milk cappuccino was also amazing. Love the attention to quality and details here. Definitely coming back!

Google
Great place for a snack to tide you over between meals. I got the raparperi seljankukk dome shaped cake and a chai latte. My companions got a supreme mansikkaviin croissant like pastry with custard in the middle and a strawberry. There is a shop to the on the other side to buy chocolates and other candies.

Google
Really cozy feeling and a cool experience. It feels like visiting a piece of Finnish history. The chai latte was really good with a lot of cinnamon. The cake was also a piece of art. We tried the chocolate cake, the chocolate and raspberry cake, the may day donut and a cinnamon bun. Everyone who are visiting Helsinki should give it a try. A bit pricey but not too expensive.

Fazer Café in Helsinki is an absolute treat! The whimsical Easter window displays drew me in. They made the whole place feel festive and magical! It’s a chocolate lover’s paradise with endless sweets, but they also serve regular food options like wraps and skagen. And the donuts-they’re to die for! There are a few seating areas, one upfront by the windows, then in the back, they offer a nicer seating area. One of the best parts was seeing how even four-legged friends were welcome; I watched a little dog pop out of a baby carriage to sip one of Fazer’s coffee creations-hysterical! This place is a must-stop for gifts and souvenirs. It's so tempting to want to buy one for yourself and one for everyone you know too! A five dollar coffee stop turned into a two hundred dollar shopping spree!

Google
a cup of chai latte and a cinnamon bun made amazing combo for a cinnamon appreciator like me. i visited around 8:30 in the morning, thursday. seemed about half of the seats were available at the time. would like to try other menus.

Google
Flagship branch of Finland’s famed Fazer chocolate brand. Really extensive selection available at the this store. Don’t miss out on their classic blueberry chocolates and Geisha varieties. Place also has a nice spacious cafe for ala carte dining as well as brunch buffet where you can enjoy sandwiches and pastries with your hot drinks.

Yelp
(Overall: A) - This is the original cafe of the famous candy brand Fazer, specializing in chocolate candies by appearance. I loved that the cafe has high quality desserts to match the iconic destination as it certainly did not disappoint. They have a wide array of desserts and pastries to choose from daily, and the spacious atmosphere makes it an enjoyable place to tackle those morning emails peacefully. (Geisha: A) - This is an chocolate hazelnut dessert that is as rich as it is beautiful. I appreciated the thoughtful flavor profile that has both a noticeable saltiness and earthiness to help counteract the richness of this piece. (Cafe Latte: A) - This latte was well made as it had the coffee taste without the unpleasant bitterness. The foamed milk is beautifully airated and the latte art is elegant. Yelp
Date of visit: pretty every day since 8/31 for after dinner desserts Tried several cakes and they're all EXCELLENT! My fave is the passion fruit cheesecake. It's so soft and smooth and I love how the crust is a bit salty to balance out the sweet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Other things I tried here were: - blackberry yoghurt cake - Fazer Blue Cake (signature) - Budapest (banana, cream, almond, raspberry jam) - coconut sorbet Would def go back if I ever go to Helsinki again.

Yelp
We had two tasty visits to this particular Fazer Cafe. The hot chocolate was so good that we couldn't resist a second visit. It makes since given that this historic chocolatier has been around for more than 150 years. We really enjoyed their sidewalk cafe seating but could see how the interior would be enjoyable and cozy during the winter months. The cafe offers a variety of drinks, ice cream (I see you licorice ice cream!), sweets and meal items like shrimp toasties, salads and more. We enjoyed the rye rice pastry (Karpelini- I'm totally butchering this) topped with egg cream, shrimp toast, hot chocolates and carrot cheesecake. All were fabulous and served with a tasty chocolate. You'll find Fazer locations all over the city but I especially liked the historical charm of this one.

Yelp
Back again. Great place to have coffee, reminisce, and meet old friends. The pastry is still to die for and the sandwiches, coffee or tea are so tasty. Still the same atmosphere while I was growing up. So, I have always to visit this Fazer during my stay in Helsinki.

Yelp
The pastries and cakes behind the glass cases looked amazing. I went with the raspberry pistachio and hazelnut milk chocolate (Geisha) cakes. Both of them were very sweet. I also ordered an iced geisha latte. I didn't know what to expect, but it came with whipped cream and rolled wafers. It was also very sweet. Afterwards, we shopped around for chocolates to bring back. There is a big selection, so there's something for everyone. The company was founded in Finland in 1891. The chocolate is part of the Finnish cultural heritage.

Yelp
This is a huge chocolate and treat shop right in the middle of everything in Helsinki. A friend and I enjoyed some baked goods, some chocolate, and drinks here. They have a large selection of everything, so you'll definitely find something you like. They had a red porridge kind of thing that was very tasty. The geisha latte was also interesting. It's worth checking out.

Yelp
I think this is the best cafe in Helsinki and the name Fazer is just awesome. When I hear fazer, I think space, and the sign outside looks like it's some futurist space font! Then, you walk in, and it's an elegant cafe, bakery, and chocolate shop that makes you want to try/buy everything. This is a place that you need to come back to again and again to explore everything on their menu and just enjoy the atmosphere.

Birnita B.

Yelp
Fazer cafe is a Helsinki institution - amazing selection of cakes and desserts with good coffee and a selection of savoury options too. Cafe in the front with more formal area at the back.

Yelp
I came here on 2 separate days. This place is like a Ghirardelli of Finland. Has a nice little cafe and loads of chocolate. You can buy Fazer chocolates, cakes, lunches, salad bar, and coffee. It's a great place to get some work done as well. Shrimp sandwich: The rye bread was cold and on the thicker side. They don't warm it up for you. 3/5 korvapuusti (cinnamon bun): Probably my favorite thing there. Just the right amount of sweetness and has a saltiness to it. 4.5/5 Chocolate cake and latte: nothing special

Yelp
A must for any tourist in Helsinki Finland!!!! Best chocolates and the regular hot chocolate is amazing as well

Yelp
Right in front of the hotel I was staying at in Helsinki was this cafe/ chocolate shop that's supposedly super famous in Finland. We went here on a super busy Sunday morning - they had brunch buffet and all locals and tourists decided to be here. There's this cute little chocolate dome with flower petals on top. Before I could even place my order, the lady behind the counter took the whole tray of the lovely looking chocolate domes - all of the five that were on display. Somebody had purchased the last of the Geisha cakes. So close yet so far away. Instead, I got a sachertorte; a grand blanc (open-faced Sandwich) with goat cheese, pear, walnuts, and beets; a grand blanc with jerk chicken; and a Budapest cake (light meringue cake). Sachertorte: Since their chocolate is kind of a big deal, the sachertorte showcased their chocolate excellence - and I normally don't like chocolate cake. This was a small enough slice so I can actually finish it without a problem. The chocolate top was fantastic and the thin layers of chocolate sponge was delightful. 4/5 Grand Blanc: Between the two kinds of sandwiches tried, I liked the one with walnuts, pear and goat cheese the most. Excellent contrast of colors, textures, and flavors. I wanted another one. 5/5 Budapest Cake: Light meringue cake with fruits rolled in the center. Mildly sweet. 4/5 We came here everyday we were in Helsinki. Some days twice a day. I got my hands on some Geisha cake, a pistachio roll, and lots of chocolates and candies to take home. Geisha Cake: It was everything I had imagined. Chocolate covered hazelnut mousse with a crisp wafer. One if the best desserts I've had. And definitely my favorite in Helsinki.

Yelp
Another stop on our food tour, we were here for the Fazer candies of where there are many. A beautiful window display and then rows upon rows of individually wrapped candies. Some of them sold in gift boxes and bags and other pretty displays. Definitely the spot to stop in for a sweet gift to bring home. [Review 10072 overall, 1657 of 2018.]

Yelp
The hot chocolate here is amazing! And all the drinks come with a chocolate to go. Highly recommend sitting down and enjoying the beautiful atmosphere.

Yelp
Late review but we came here to enjoy some brunch and indulge in some wonderful Fazer chocolates. Was extremely busy and hectic when we came and we had to take any seat they would give us but we were simply grateful to even be able to be seated. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The smorgasbord had good variety of savories and sweets to enjoy. Kiitos for the wonderful, wrapped Fazer chocolates at the dessert station as well! Perfect with coffee at the end of the meal. Wish there was a Fazer in Southern California...:( Fazer chocolates are just the best!

Yelp
Wonderful chocolate, good buffet and great ambience. Our favorite place for coffee as well.

Yelp
Stopped by here to have some hot chocolate on a cold day with my boyfriend. Hot chocolate was delicious and came with a little wrapped chocolate, which was honestly arguable better than the hit chocolate -- milky, smooth, melts right in your mouth. Will be back for chocolate next

Yelp
I came in for a coffee and a pastry, as is apparently tradition in many of the Nordic countries. I was greeted with a massive light-filled cafeteria filled with different aromas of food, pastries, and coffee. The section just for coffee was quick and had many options for dessert pairings. I had to go with the sachertorte even though in Finland. It certainly did not disappoint. Another HUGE plus was that they had someone playing the piano near the cafe area of the building, and it was such a relaxing slice of the day to sit and drink coffee and listen to classical music being played. I definitely recommend checking out this institution of a place!

Yelp
Karl Fazer is the Ghirardelli of Finland. They make the most delicious chocolate and licorice treats so we knew that we had to try the historic cafe during our trip to Helsinki. The cafe has a delicious selection of baked goods, pastries, lunch, coffee & cocoa drinks, and a huge selection of candy. We ordered the classic Swedish style cinnamon bun, Finnish sweet butter bun, latte with oat milk, and hot chocolate. My favorite was the cinnamon bun - this is a must order item! The coffee and hot chocolate were both average but still very good. Pro tip: you can find a lot of specialty candy here that's definitely worth trying, however if go to your local grocery store most of their classic items will be half the price :)

Yelp
If you've been to Maison Bertaux in London or Pierre Hermé in Paris, then you must be one of those highbrow pastry snobs who want elitist confections with your pinkies-up cup of tea. Obviously you're not like me who searches for half-off, day-old doughnuts in the Safeway bakery bargain bin. OK, I made that up, but hey, if you're in Helsinki looking for a slice of impeccably frosted goodness accompanied by a 4,50 € Hot Chocolate (Kaakao Kermalla) overflowing with fluffy foam drizzled with chocolate syrup (photo: http://bit.ly/1ZHFCAC), then you should check out Karl Frazer Café, an old-fashioned Finnish-Russian cafe that's been around since 1891. Fazer was apparently a true raconteur, and confections were only one of many passions he pursued at the turn of the last century. After being swept by the cold Baltic winds off the harbor, Jamie W. and I walked in here, and the first vivid impression we had was the gigantic, gleaming letters of the sign over the front door (photo: http://bit.ly/1Nre1Tv). Once inside, we saw all the people swarming over the pastries in the glass cases. We took our place in line and indulged in a slice of 6,60 € lighter-than-helium Lemon-Glazed Cheesecake (Kauden Juustokakkupa) (photo: http://bit.ly/1TABfTL) and a couple of 3,80 € Yeast Doughnuts topped with Strawberry (Berliininmunkki) and Mocha (Omarmunkki) frosting respectively (photo: http://bit.ly/23JjK9h). The aforementioned hot chocolate and a 4,40 € Caffe Latte completed the picture. It was a tasty treat in a cavernous space filled with marble and gold. DESSERT - 4 stars...top-notch desserts may be priced a bit for the tourists but still delectable AMBIANCE - 4 stars...crowded and very old-school European but with a modern veneer SERVICE - 3.5 stars...quietly attentive, nothing more TOTAL - 4 stars...you deserve something sweet for facing the bracing Nordic weather

Yelp
UGHHHH. This is a love/hate situation. Our tour guide in St. Petersberg told us that we just had to try some Fazer chocolate while in Helsinki. Ok noted, but not really high on my to-do list. However, this somehow got mentioned to our Helsinki tour guide, who kindly took us to this cafe. As we only had an hour to explore the area, and had already eaten, we all skipped the cafe side (looked amazing btw) and started exploring the chocolate side to take home some gifts for friends/family/coworkers. Again. At this point I still had not eaten a single piece of chocolate. Nothing was in English and I was in a bit of a rush, so I turned into a complete idiot and just started picking things up. There was a "chocolate scoop by the weight section" so I scooped up a few of each kind to take back to my coworkers. FYI they loved them. Then they had some very cute cardboard boxes that were well decorated and I assumed, chocolate inside. Again, being stupid, I picked up two very expensive boxes just because I loved the decorations attached. One box with a strawberry. One box with a glass buoy type thing. Perfect. I'll get to try two, or maybe more, types chocolate and life is great. Get home a few days later and open my two boxes. To my dismay, all the individually wrapped chocolates were the same! All blue/gold wrappers. Disappointed. I wanted to try some options. I put them in the fridge and thought maybe I'd get around to trying them later, after eating all the other treats I'd brought back. Ok, this plan has gone very, very wrong. I tried a chocolate, I was bored. Holy moly. This is the best milk chocolate EVER. And I'm a hardcore Cadbury's girl. Ok. I'll allow myself 3 pieces a day. Yeah right, this is more like 12 pieces now, and I'm likely 5lbs heavier!! This chocolate is so damn good. Can I buy it online? I probably only have about 5 more days left at the rate I'm eating it! Help!

Yelp
I tried the traditional Finnish cinnamon roll here and a coffee and all I can say is wow. WOW! Why don't we have cinnamon rolls like the Finns in the States? The coffee was good, the roll was incredible. The place was clean as well, although we went at an off hour. If I return to Finland again, I will come back for another cinnamon roll.
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
Hello everyone! So my wife and I visited this cafe when we were in Helsinki. It has a great selection of pastries for everyone. Their cinnamon rolls aren't as sweet as the ones back in the States but they are still a great treat to have. The pastry that I really loved was the berry and cream croissant. It was a very good side and the cream just added another flavor that was superb. We ended up getting another one to go to enjoy later! They also have coffee that they can make for you if thats what you wanted. Have fun everyone!
google avatar

Kristi H.

Yelp
We got treats to go, so can't review the dine in experience. Great location in the heart of the city! This place is always packed, but we never had a long wait. Hot chocolate was good, but average. Pastries were out of this world! Try something you can't get at home! We stocked up on lots of chocolates to bring home for gifts. The ruby chocolate is a personal favorite of mine! Definitely worth stopping by as Fazer is infamous in Finland.
google avatar

Marcy D.

Yelp
What a great time! Stopped by for breakfast during our morning in Helsinki. I got the cardamoms twist and my husband got the cream and berry croissant. For our coffee I got an iced vanilla latte and he got a normal hot latte. After some time trying to decide what to choose from all the tasty treats I was very happy with our choices. Staff spoke English when it became obvious through our accents that we were American and were super friendly - she even suggested I add a flavor to my iced latte and I was so happy because I didn't realize that was an option! A tiny chocolate Came with our meals. A great way to start our day. I def recommend eating on the sidewalk too - so pretty!
google avatar

Mitt N.

Yelp
Great place for Americans (but none were there but us), they are warm and friendly and everyone speaks English and is glad to explain things. Karl Frazer was the chocolate impresario of Finnland and it shows. There's a large dome over the main dining area and whispering doesn't keep you from being heard across the room as a result of the acoustics. I appreciated the lavish foods at the lunch buffet which was not very American but it's not, after all, America, it's Finland. Fazer apparently started his empire of food with this restaurant in 1891. I had a great variety including smoked salmon, shrimp salad, avocados with sesame, etc.
google avatar

Sam O.

Yelp
Very popular dessert place in Helsinki since 1891! Old school cafetaria style with a lot of gold and marble. I first notice Fazer through the extensive advertisements everywhere as soon you arrive in the city. The cake I had was pretty good as the ice cream. Found it a bit expensive but comparing it to what you would pay in Paris it is fair enough. It was open during good Friday so it was a really good plus! Staff is helpful and ambiance is relaxed. Would recommend this place at least to try the cakes.

Simon G.

Yelp
A veritable smorgasbord of pastries, cakes and chocolate delights. All beautifully presented and the coffee is great. We were lucky enough to visit the main cafe off Esplanadi, the original. A must stop when you visit Helsinki.
google avatar

Richard E.

Yelp
If you love cakes you will not want to leave. Coffee is good, building is very cool old school. Not cheap, but if it was you would get very fat.
google avatar

CiCi C.

Yelp
This main location is a must visit. Chocolate and candy Mecca with a fabulous window display. We just had coffee here but mostly browsed and bought all kinds of candy and chocolate for souvenirs. They are famous for their nougat eats (almond and nougat inside real eggshell).
google avatar

Rebecca T.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for dessert and cocoa two months ago. They did not disappoint. We are from the US and it was Thanksgiving night and we wanted a traditional smorgasbord of desserts because our dinner (from another restaurant) had been lacking. We were missing that traditional feel of home. We ordered a couple of different desserts - carrot cake and chili chocolate mousse cake (just a dash of heat to kick up the flavor of chocolate), plus cinnamon hot chocolate, and chocolate tea. Everything we ordered was wonderful. The carrot cake was moist and the icing wasn't too dense. The chocolate cake was divine with that dash of chili. The cinnamon hot chocolate went right to my core and warmed me through. The tea was also very smooth, hot, and soothing. We were very happy we went here. The next day, we stopped in for their lunch which was unlimited soup plus a salad that they will build for you. Reasonably priced and a good amount of seating. Let me not forget to mention that the chocolate that they sell there (prewrapped) is wonderful! You must pick up a few individual pieces or bars to bring home. We are still munching on the bars two months later!

Yelp
I had brunch here recently on a Sunday morning with family. It was my first visit, although this Fazer Café is pretty well known around Helsinki. The brunch offering was a pretty typical Finnish spread. Artisan breads, hard boiled eggs, various cold cuts and veggies, cheese, bacon, sausage, gravlax. Drinks were coffee, a few juices, water, and for an additional charge sparkling wine (did not partake myself). They also offered a hearty chicken salad for something on the more filling side. The dessert options were pretty amazing, so save room -- decadent cheesecake and chocolate cake, various chocolates and candies. All in all, it was a positive experience at a fair price and I left satisfied. Lots of families so be prepared for the racket that can entail. Also, the place was packed so expect some queuing and flying elbows. Solid brunch place!
google avatar

Pia K T.

Yelp
A classic and elegant café in Helsinki, perfect for breakfast, lunch, AW, coffee, icecream and cake. It seems to be frequented by all ages, genders and walks of life, with long queues at lunch and after work. The cakes on display all look mouthwatering, the serve fantastic freshly squeezed orange juice. But if you're looking for good vegetarian food and sandwich options this is not the place to go. Sadly. They also sell lots of their famous Fazer chocolate incl special gift wrappings. I highly recommend the sweet KissKiss bonbons with kittens on the wrapping, delish! (And addictive.) Quite a few in the staff speaks Swedish - thumbs up for that, if you're a Swede - and the wifi is free. Though it isn't all that reliable. If you want a nice pastry, coffee/tea and sweets served in an elegant yet unpretentious environment, this is definitely the place to go.
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
This was a really good cafe right down the walkway from our hotel, Hotel Kamp. They had a great soup buffet for lunch. The mushroom soup was memorable even several months later. The nice warm atmosphere and soups were great on a sort of rainy day. However, the bread was to die for and went really well with the soup! Wish we had something like this in San Diego. Definitely go for lunch on a cold day. The coffee is nice too. They have sandwiches and beautiful desserts.well, but we didn't try them.

Yelp
This place is one of the pleasant surprises I found during my visit to Helsinki. Chocolate from Finland can be just as tasty compared to Swiss, French, and Belgian chocolate. This place also serves some great lunch dishes at a reasonable price. A lady I was travelling with told me that she loves dark chocolate more than milk chocolate. After getting both the milk chocolate and the dark chocolate bars here at this place, I realised the reason why she said that. The milk chocolate was way too creamy and sweet, but the dark chocolate had an excellent flavour, and it was not too sweet. If the dark chocolate was melted, it could be a great complement to some fresh, cold vanilla ice cream. As for my lunch, I had a salmon sandwich, which was pretty good, the salmon was pretty fresh, the sandwich had some fresh greens to complement the salmon, and the bread had a nice rustic taste. I also got a "Bébé", which was this tart-like pastry, and it had a pink cream filling on top. That was pretty good with an excellent creamy and sweet flavour. This place is at a great location in Helsinki, not too far from the harbour, Senate Square, and the central train station. Even better was that this place has very reliable wi-fi internet, so once we got in, we were looking at our phones a lot. It was also one of the smoothest and cleanest cafes I have been to. Overall, if you are looking for a great and versatile lunch with some excellent chocolate in Helsinki, this place is a great choice. The Dark Chocolate was one of the best, if not the best souvenir I got from Helsinki. I really have to give that lady credit for mentioning how much she likes dark chocolate.

Yelp
It might not be the sexiest café in a town full of cafés - but it is definitely worth a visit! Just to try any of the coffee drinks or the chocolate cakes! It is indeed a so called tourist trap - but I don't care this time. The interior and design is rather clean and clinical - with sweet chocolaty details on the tables. I had a hot coffee drink with crushed minty Marianne candies - so-o-o yummy!! And the chocolate cake - delicious! Next time in Helsinki - I will return!
google avatar

Char L.

Yelp
Came for the famous hot chocolate. It was tasty, but not sure what was so famous about it, especially at over 4 Euros for a cup. Definitely was a popular cafe spot for lunch, but we didn't grab lunch there. Definitely feels like a place tourists visit.
google avatar

Terri S.

Yelp
Food was really good, very crowded for Sunday buffet. Soup was fantastic and we tried them all. Chocolate served with coffee is great. Friendly staff, lots of seating but seems to always be busy. Fun place to stop for brunch or lunch.
google avatar

Mina S.

Yelp
Nice place to visit as a tourist, but I doubt I would go back for any reason besides showing a visiting friend. Although the cakes were nice, it is clear that they want to squeeze as many bodies in as possible so this spacious location feels like a pretty cafeteria. Because of the name you have to pay a bit more than other cafes in Helsinki. We each got a slice of cake (around €6) and shared, and they were all good. I had a sort of cherry and chocolate mirror cake made mostly of chocolate mousse; moist and delicious! One of my friends got a cheesecake that was probably the best of all, being very rich yet with some nice citrus to cut through it. Unfortunately I don't remember the names but they were all in Finnish. The filter coffee was ok and I really appreciated the lactose-free milk AND cream provided. There was also a lunch buffet going in full force, which didn't look like it matched the price imo. A pretty place to visit once, but you can get equally good cakes in other, cozier cafes in the city and probably for less.

Yelp
We arrived in Helsinki from the United States after a long day in airports and on airplanes and were dead beat and jet lagged. We checked into our hotel and went out looking for a quick light meal as we did not want to spend a lot of time dozing while waiting in a formal restaurant. The Cafe Fazer was perfect. It was right across the street from our hotel and food is served deli style so you can see what you are ordering which is extremely useful in a place in which the language is completely unfamiliar. Also you are served immediately. My wife and I both had open face style shrimp sandwiches. We followed these with excellent pastries and ice cream. The young lady who served us was extremely helpful in explaining the options. We ate outside and then went back to our hotel and went to bed. The Cafe Fazer provided us with a very nice introduction to Helsinki.

Yelp
I'm not 100% sure of the complete history of this place (and it feels like it's got lots of history) but we went for a light lunch and a coffee. Everything was great. We were amazed at the selection of desserts, sandwiches, and pastries. The staff was super helpful even though the place was very busy. I would recommend this cafe for a snack or a light meal. Well and if you like candies you'll be in heaven.

Raven F.

Yelp
Best little café! Coffee was great and the treats were even better. Try the brownie, it's delicious!

Yelp
The best coffee house in Helsinki. The pastries are amazing. I had the Sacher Torte and an Americano and both were fantastic. Definitely the place to try for a break and a rest.
google avatar

Yelp
Cakes are sweet..the lime one wasn't bad. The iced latte is so so, I've had better. Service was nice though and lots of chocolate variety to purchase.

Vesa V.

Yelp
It is possible that Fazer Kluuvi is the best Café in Helsinki. At least it is best known. I had salmon "pocket". Which is a delicious sandwich, although a big one. Teen took a bagel and small kids took ice cream and they loved it. My wife had a chili choclate cake which was "äklö". Big too much of everything. Every time nice place to have a dessert.

Yelp
Caffe and pastries - What's not to like? In need of a midafternoon break we descended upon the Karl Fazer Cafe in search of treats, coffee, and seats (not necessarily in that order). I can't speak to their lunch menu but the caffe was tasty and the pastries were scrumptious. What's not to like?

Yelp
Too expensive for anyone but tourists. Just buy a Geisha chocolate bar at R-Kioski, get a coffee at Robert's, and call it a day. Food? Picnic's lunch offerings are actually better and about half the price. There tourists: I've now given you an entire tour of what Helsinki has to offer in the way of convenient and local food, drink, and Fazer. I also saved you about 10e. You're welcome. If you insist on a classier location with a more civilized people, I suggest taking your money to Ekberg on Bulevardi.

Yelp
Very stylish cafe, both with possibility to enjoy outside on terrace or sit inside; so be it a beautiful summer evening or a chilly winter season, Fazer Café has the perfect solutions: several kinds of coffee, in-house baked delicacies and lemonades. Fazer Café is a place where I could imagine spending time with friends; alternatively, having a solo espresso and a Financial Times of the day, or just grab something to bite.

Yelp
Great selection of treats to fulfill my sweet tooth. I feel like you can't really go wrong with any fazer dessert as I was pretty much a verrrrry happy camper eating my cake with my latte. They also gave me a Marianne with my latte :) overall, come here if you're looking to chill somewhere with coffee and a delicious dessert.
