Yelp
Touted as the best vintage flea market in all of Portugal. Nestled on a hill overlooking the beautiful river, Feira da Ladra certainly lived up to its reputation.
With so many different vendors it's easy to see why one would find it virtually impossible to leave this place empty handed.
From vintage designer women's and men's clothing, shoes and accessories, furs, vinyl records, homewares, furniature, electronic equipment such as the first cameras and vinyl record players. Loads of vintage and antiques as seen at most flea markets around the world.
The variety of items on offer is what really stands out. Although it seems this market is catering more for the tourist, prices are varied. I would personally recommend dressing down and trying not to look like a cashed up tourist, this will hopefully help you get a better deal!
And always remember, play the bargaing game. It's fun, and as they say, if you don't ask, you won't receive!
Most tourist guides may tell you that the market closes by 2pm, but this is not the case, I was there at 5pm on both Tuesday and Saturday and vendors were still selling.
In saying that I would advise you get down there early, 07:30am - 08:30am to get the best deals, particularly on the Tuesday.
