Tucked inside a beautifully restored hundred year old building, Felicia Suzanne’s feels like stepping into the perfect blend of swanky sophistication and Delta soul. The renovation is stunning. Every detail exudes warmth and class, creating an atmosphere that’s both stylish and inviting. From the moment we sat down, it was clear this wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience carefully crafted with thought, talent, and passion. Each dish was layered with flavor, beautifully presented, and absolutely to die for. You can taste the intention behind every bite. The balance of Southern tradition and modern creativity is flawless. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, savor, and truly celebrate food. If you’re in Memphis and want more than just dinner. If you want an evening you’ll remember long after the last bite. Felicia Suzanne's Restaurant delivers in every way.

From the moment we sat down, everything—from service to presentation—was absolute perfection. The ambiance was fancy!! I’m not usually one for shrimp and grits, but they were fire. The quail was perfectly crisp, balanced over silky mash and greens. The beef carpaccio was bright and tender with just the right punch of capers and onions. We started with the deviled eggs (chow chow), which were creamy with a tangy twist. Every dish was thoughtfully composed and bursting with flavor. Dessert? Decadent. A peppermint patty with a playful scoop of strawberry ice cream and a snowfall of powdered sugar was almost too pretty to eat (nearly). The only miss of the night was the White Russian. Luckily, the rest of the cocktails carried the weight. The traditional old-fashioned and Mai Tai were delicious! Take this with a grain of salt salt. Maybe because I don't a white Russian. Overall, this spot nails Southern classics with upscale finesse. Highly recommend—even if you think you don’t like shrimp and grits. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food is delicious ( biscuits, quail entree, greens macaroni& cheese)! The waiter and waitresses were kind and professional. The service had some opportunity. My husband and I couldn’t understand if there was a disconnect between the kitchen/waiter communication, bar/ kitchen communication or if it was just a busy night. The flow of the food delivery seemed to be lacking. First, we were there for 2.5 hours. We are parents so the time was not an issue for us but we did start to get hungry while waiting. We order a salad which arrived after the entree. We ordered the milk and cookies for dessert, the milk punch arrived from the bar, we waited 2-3 minutes before asking the waiter who then brought the cookies out. The food is what will bring us back and we are hoping the areas above will be ironed out.

As a local owner of a bar/restaurant in Memphis, I am overwhelmingly impressed by the quality of the cuisine, service and the atmosphere. Very diverse space, attention to detail, and a welcoming environment for any Memphian or anyone who comes to town. A must visit!

This was our first time dinning here. The food was fantastic and coursed perfectly. Our server Bree was exceptional she gave great recommendations and would highly recommend! Thank you for making our anniversary special.

Felicia Suzanne’s is a must for anyone in or visiting Memphis. Sat at the bar and ordered Oysters of Love- a delicious house favorite. Grits, lightly fried oysters, and a house made New Orleans BBQ sauce. Loved the FSR Salad also! The South Carolina Quail is a NO MISS Entree. Buttermilk battered Quail, smooth potato base, cooked greens and a generous portion of quail drizzled in local honey. Finished with the Peppermint Patty for dessert. So good I’m still sitting here stewing in how incredible this meal has been! Beautiful space, great service behind the bar from Ian, and a meal I can’t wait to have again. 5 stars!!

Since the restaurant asked for an honest review regarding the one-star rating I gave, here it is. I dined there this past Saturday with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we sat down, it took half an hour for someone to come and take our drink order. It was another half hour before the oysters arrived. We spent an hour and a half just on appetizers. Both my wife and I have experience in the restaurant industry, and everything felt out of rhythm. The waitstaff seemed inexperienced and lacked the eagerness or knowledge to provide good service. At one point, after waiting so long, I almost stood up and left, but because it was a special day, we decided to stay. Now, regarding the food: the raw oysters were not cold and were very small. My wife's red snapper was flavorful, but it was served on top of some greens, which didn't make much sense. My dish, which sounded eclectic on the menu, was simply a small portion of ground beef on top of rice, resembling a risotto. I asked a trainee why everything felt so slow and disorganized, and they informed me that while all the staff were present, the restaurant was short-staffed.( the restaurant was half empty … approx 8-9 tables occupied when I was there ) The bill came to $235, which included two glasses of wine and a martini. A 20% gratuity was automatically included, which I believe is a significant mistake by the owner. This is likely why the service was so poor; no one seemed interested in providing the level of service expected from a restaurant of this caliber. A famous quote in the restaurant business is, "Your food is only as good as your service." On a positive note, the bar and atmosphere were very nice, with appealing decoration and a clean bathroom. However, everything else needs a thorough reevaluation and a return to the drawing board.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. Despite the restaurant not being at full capacity, the wait time (over 1.5 hour before we received appetizers) was surprisingly long. Leading up to our reservation, we received over four reminders emphasizing prompt arrival and the financial penalties for being late/no show. With that level of constant text communication, we expected the restaurant to be fully prepared for our dinner. To their credit, the staff acknowledged our frustration and did their best to accommodate us, but the service delays were still disappointing—especially for a simple dinner for two. While we understand that occasional hiccups can happen, this felt excessive for what should have been a smooth and celebratory evening
