Cracking spot with good indoor and outdoor seating. Very reasonable prices and a nice cream tea. We had a pot of tea for two, J2O and cream tea for £12.70. service was quick and polite.

Food is shockingly good. We had the Cumberland sausage and fish and chips. The batter for the fish is light, and the fish is very good quality. the tartare sauce is out of the world. The chips are very good too. The Cumberland sausage is firm and you can feel it is quality meat.

Came here for a meal and it was very good. I would add more salt for fish batter (fish and chips). my husband enjoyed his hit dog and my son ate almost everything from his plate. Service very friendly, prices acceptable.

Lovely family dinner here on last night of our holiday. The food and service are great - we devoured our mains before I could take pics but the pie, chilli and pasta special were all delicious. As was the Manchester Tart (pictured). Nicer wine than the usual pub options too. Highly recommended.

Very rude staff and very rude behaviour towards the customer. Not everyone but the one who was with beard. He was really rough towards me . If someone is not familiar with restaurant , then guide them wisely. I took sprite can from the table which was actually for display . I was not aware about that , i thought we have to take drinks after ordering and payment. The guy with red tea shirt and beard got angry on me and tell that it was for display only . There was other customers and i was lost at that time. He was not even saying hello or thanks to customers( may be he is a racist or not interested on indain customer, but serving some indian dishes in his restaurant). Anyway the food was nice and all other staff’s were also nice.

Lovely friendly welcome. I had a delicious spicy lentil soup 🍲 and my partner had amazing loaded fries. Couldn't fault it!!!

What an amazing place, staff are so friendly, very attentive and efficient. Lovely homely atmosphere and stunning food at very reasonable prices. Would thoroughly recommend you eat here if you are in the area. We had 2 courses incl a special main as a treat, several drinks and for 2 of us was £65, yes really..they even closed but let's us stay late so we didn't feel rushed. A genuinely special place. !

Great selection of vegan options, lovely staff, nice food. Couple of minor niggles were a rowdy crowd, which the venue can’t help, and my moving mountains burger wasn’t fully cooked, which got more obvious as I approached the middle of it.
