Set right along the Brisbane River, this bar offers one of the most picturesque spots in the city to unwind. The riverside tables give you front-row seats to sweeping water views, and it’s hard not to feel instantly relaxed as you settle in with a drink and take it all in. Whether you’re catching up with friends or just soaking up the atmosphere solo, the setting alone is worth the visit.
I only ordered a coffee and juice this time—simple choices, but the coffee took a while to arrive, maybe around 20 minutes. Still, when it did come, it was rich and well-balanced, making up for the wait. I’d love to come back and try the food next time, as the menu looked promising.
One of the quirkiest parts was the toilet setup—tucked away down a half-subterranean level with a bit of a cyberpunk vibe, which added an unexpected twist to the experience. Just outside the main building, there’s a laid-back seating area with big cushions where people were lounging and even lying down, and from what I saw, staff will even bring your order out to you there. It’s a bar with a lot of personality and plenty of ways to enjoy it, making it a standout spot for locals and visitors alike.
