Google
My rating is for the perfect balance of milk and coffee in the Flat White and Cappuccino – well done! This is one of the best takeaway coffee spots. Yes, I understand the comments about FENSTERCCINO costing 12–18 euros, but that’s their special touch(feature), and I give them credit for such a perfect marketing trick😉

Google
The only place I really wanted to go while In Vienna. So while the rest of the group was getting ready for our flight we took off on an adventure to Fenster Café. I am so glad I didn’t miss it, everyone should try it at least once!! Maybe twice..maybe daily…. SO delicious!!

Google
Very good coffee! We got Ibrik/Cezva (also called Turkish Coffee with spices), and classical cappuccino. Both great! I will come back after dirty orange too!!! Note: place has no food or seated places, but for the quality of coffee we did not mind using the stairs

Fenster Café is a tiny window with big personality! Yes, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but totally worth trying at least once — especially their legendary Conechino (espresso in a chocolate-dipped ice cream cone). It’s cute, creative, and definitely Instagram-worthy. But a word of advice: don’t bite the cone before you finish the coffee... or you might end up like me — with espresso all over your t-shirt and chocolate regrets 😂 The coffee itself is solid, and the whole experience feels like a fun little treat rather than just a caffeine fix. Great spot to support a small, local business doing something different. Just expect a short wait, especially if you're filming your “first sip in a cone” moment like everyone else 😄

Google
The cappuccino in a cone costs 12€.. just too pricey.. the waffle cone is delicious though, has a thick chocolate bottom. You get a cute cat sticker for scanning the QR code.

Stopped by Café Fernster in Vienna and tried the famous coffee in a cone — yes, it’s a little pricey, but honestly, it was more about the experience than just the coffee. Such a fun and unique treat! The guy working there (wish I remembered his name!) was really nice and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for something a bit different and Instagram-worthy in Vienna. 😊☕🍦

Google
Cool coffee place, interesting idea with their special coffee in a cone. You can pick from the usual chocolate cone which costs 12 euro or from their special ones and the price is 18 euro. Very expensive but it deserves for the experience. You can only pay with credit card.

Google
Nestled in a truly distinctive spot, this cafe evokes an intense, old-world corridor vibe. It's a charming window-service spot specializing in coffee served innovatively in an ice cream cone. The novelty of the cone and the coffee's flavor are both perfectly acceptable, but the steep price per cone is a significant drawback, compounded by the complete lack of seating. I'd personally find it more worthwhile if the pricing were more reasonable.

Yelp
Okay, I fell for this tourist trap. All these rave reviews for this expensive little chocolate cone of cappuccino. Really cute concept but also somewhat forgettable, though a needed boost during the day.

Yelp
As soon as I saw this spot I knew I had to try tit before I left Vienna! Sweet service and a really interesting menu. Don't mind if I started off my morning in good spirit. thank you!

Yelp
Cappuccino in a cone? Love this cool concept but probably the most expensive coffee in Vienna. Coffee was light but nothing special imo. Service was friendly. It's a window coffee and there is no place to sit down so you would need to finish your coffee as soon as possible or you will waste your €12.

Yelp
We were looking for something different for coffee and we were luckily just a 2 min away from this cafe! It's such an awesome spot. You will order through the window and take out. It's quick and easy. The service here was so great. They were very sweet and recommended different options on our taste. Since we were in the mood for coffee but something refreshing, they recommended the espresso tonic. This was very refreshing and strong. Then, we also ordered the affogato which was also strong but sweet with the icecream :). I do recommend visiting this spot for a cool and delicious coffee experience! Enjoy ;) -IG: travelfoodie_ishy

Yelp
I saw this place on IG and had to get a coffee in a cone! Since the coffee shop is not on a main street, there was no queue (rare for a December day in Vienna). They have a full line of coffees, but their signature is the latte in a cone. The coffee was great! It melts the chocolate that coats the cone, which enhances the flavor. The staff was friendly and fluent in English. The main con is that the cone is a bit pricey for what you get. Also, the experience is cool but becomes cumbersome quickly as biting too much from the cone can spill the coffee. I would still recommend it if you are a coffee lover :)

Yelp
This is a hole in the wall coffee place in Vienna. We stopped by because we saw their waffle cone coffee on Google. I ordered an iced espresso caramel macchiato which was delicious. My boyfriend got their waffle cone coffee, it was good but very expensive for the amount of coffee you get. It was 11€! The amount of coffee inside the waffle cone was the size of a small. It you want a unique experience try their coffee in waffle cone just beware of the price. Overall it's a great place to get coffee and support a local business.

Yelp
This place came as the top recommendation from several colleagues as the best coffee in Vienna. While I am still not sure about that claim, they did have the best melange in the city. Fenster is located directly outside Swedenplatz and has quick service, even during off-hours. There's plenty of benches near the metro to sit and enjoy your coffee.

Yelp
It is quite simply, the best coffee I have ever had hands down. Stayed in Vienna for a week and came here every single day. The coffee is so smooth and flavorful and I got a different one every day I went. Even bought merch and two bags of coffee beans to take home. If you're staying in Vienna and don't come here for coffee, you're an idiot.

Yelp
Oh... oh my. I'm not sure I've ever been so smitten with a coffee shop in years. Between the menu, which combines third wave contemporary with fantastically unique starbucks style dessert coffees, to the very sweet woman who works there to the groundbreaking exposure to a latte in an ice cream cone, Fenster Cafe is everything. It works here in Vienna, it works at their location in Bratislava, and it could very, very easily work anywhere in the world especially in this instagram-age. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Fenster cafe is just that, a tiny little window completely run by a single person. There's no seating and you might expect a line, so plan accordingly if the weather isn't ideal. From there, the service is efficient and friendly and completely embraces the aesthetics of their products. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? €5,50 got me a latte (I suppose a cappuccino really) in an ice cream cone lined with chocolate, and that's a solid price point just about anywhere. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? The internet tells me that the whole coffee in an ice cream cone had an Australia-driven moment in 2016 but more or less fizzled shortly after especially in the United States. While that may have been the case, I'm more than certain that the concept would catch fire today, and Fenster Cafe could well inspire that charge. This was perfect. It was the right amount of coffee in a cone lined with Chocolate that essentially made it a mild mocha, and the structure wasn't at all messy. There're not much more to say really - this was marvelous and I only wished that I could have sampled some of their other specialty beverages like the oreo latte or the salted caramel macchiatto. Two Stars. Star 5: Would you be excited to go back? Absolutely. Star.

Yelp
Loved the coffee in a cone Great service Went back three times during our trip to Vienna

Yelp
The cone is definitely a little gimmicky but nonetheless a pretty good cup of latte. There is some chocolate on the inside of the cone to sweeten the coffee up a little bit as well.

Yelp
This place is such a fantastic find. It is tucked away in a little corner and the owner is so cool. This little stand has the coolest coffee I have ever laid my eyes on. The cornettocino caught my eyes and apparently this is the only other place in the world that offers it! It was SO delicious! He also made a marshmallow cino which was also amazing. It's so sweet and yummy. I would so come back next time I'm in Austria.

Yelp
Addictive! At this point, I no longer know how to start my day without Sasha's coffee. This place is a real Shangri-La of Third Wave Coffee. And boy, does the proprietor know his stuff. Hard recommend! Bonus: If you're visiting from out of town, Fenster Cafe is located in one of Vienna's most picturesque cobblestone streets.

Yelp
From someone who lives in San Francisco and breathes third wave coffee, this is a very special place The owner is super nice, and is a whizz at coffee I even learned things from him Highly recommended

Yelp
So you love Coffee? This is one of the places to be. No matter if you get the inexpensive but great espresso or one of the more extravagant coffees the place has to offer, you will always get really good coffee, mostly better than in any sit down place you may find.

Jerusha M.

Yelp
You must get coffee here ASAP! The owner is a true barista and the coffee is fantastic. We had the Viennese coffee the first morning and my two boys tried the marshmallow cappuccino the second morning. Amazing! Even my non coffee drinker loved it. Don't hesitate to get your morning coffee here!

Yelp
My friends and I stumbled across Fenster Cafe after enduring a very windy day in the city. The owner is so pleasant and made incredible drinks. It was the perfect pick-me-up and we are so glad we took that random side street. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
a hole in the wall coffee stand tucked into a nice little alleyway run by Sasha (who is hilarious)! perfect place to grab a togo coffee or some souvenir coffee beans! the coffee is top quality! i'd recommend the marshmellowccino if you like some sweetness in your cappuccino.
