Fenster Café

It's a window cafe and doesn't look very maintained but it's in a cool area. The waffle cone coffee was very overpriced at 12€ and did not taste great. they seem to be proud of their prices as their advertising says "most expensive coffee in the world"

This I can confidently say has the best cappuccino I’ve had in my life. Very light and pillowy. Outstanding baristas and they even have a few more adventurous options like an espresso in a waffle cone, an espresso with marshmallow fluff (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and espresso in orange juice. Can’t speak highly enough of this coffee and wish I could have even more of it. Visit it even if it’s out of the way. It’s worth it.

We’ve discovered this coffee shop on a previous visit to Vienna and we’ve had coffee here around 5 or 6 times. I’d say it’s one of the good coffee shops in Vienna but sadly, the taste depends on who is making the coffee. This time around we’ve had coffee (latte for me, cappuccino for my husband) here on two consecutive days, one was perfect, sweet and perfect temperature, one was bitter and too hot. So 4 stars in general, since some coffees deserve 5 stars and others 2 or 3 stars.

Great coffee and chocolate waffle cone, but for the price alone, I would never go back - the most expensive coffee I’ve ever bought, by far. I should have read the reviews first as price seems to be a common theme. It was good but definitely not worth the price, I was on holiday so I let it slide - I can only think that it’s a sustainable business as it relies on tourists who pay top dollar. There is no cafe, e.g no facilities (chairs, tables, toilets etc), just a hole in the wall. It makes paying 11 euro even more unjustifiable.

Nice place to have a great coffee. Nothing fancy with a place, but you can try coffee in unusual way … ice cream cone. And of course, Glory to Ukraine!
