Fenway

You can't go wrong with a fun day at Fenway Park. This place is a must go anytime you are in Boston. A Red Sox game is always a fan favorite. Even if you are not a baseball fan it is a great historical landmark that you can tour just to enjoy the architecture. The whole area is surrounded by fans and local restaurants catering to the crowd. You are immediately in a great baseball atmosphere with tons of similar people. You can't get this sort of baseball stadium environment in many other places in the country. I came here this summer for One Piece Night. You don't usually get a mix between baseball and anime so I had to take full advantage. You had to buy one of the special tickets in order to get the bobblehead. They do have other theme nights throughout the year so you should pay attention to the schedule. The other event I went to was for the Bad Bunny bobblehead earlier in the year. Seating here is a little tricky. There are many Loge sections that have a pole blocking some or all of your view. On the positive side you can always find an open seat in the lower rows. Most people tended to move up if there were empty seats available. Near the end of the game the fans all get together and sing Dirty Water and Sweet Caroline. That is a great Boston experience. I am shocked I have not been to more Red Sox games. Needless to say, I had a great time and would love to come back.

Great tour! We even visited the Green Monster. O' sorry, it's Boston, the Green Monsta! The history of Fenway Park is interesting and just being in there is mesmerizing! The tour guide an elderly gentleman was great and Hillary, was also very nice. You can't go to Boston and not do the Fenway tour!

When we decided we were coming to Boston for part of our vacation this year the first thing we did was order tickets to a game at Fenway. We were so excited about it! We came for a game on the first Friday night of September. The weather was perfect! It is truly such a special place! The energy is electric and I was so happy we were there to experience it!

This is my favorite ballpark for its authentic vibe in downtown Boston! Any game is fun and I love how they are accommodating to gluten allergies with a gluten friendly stand. Definitely go to Fenway if you're coming to Boston during baseball season!!

I recently did a tour of Fenway and it was great. I wasn't looking forward to it because while I appreciate Fenway, I don't care about baseball, and the last time I had a good time here on Lansdowne was in October 2004, because the energy was lit. Obvs. Growing up nearby, I'd been to the park twice for Sox games and was never into it. But the tour really focused on the history of the park, with some baseball thrown in. Our tour guide was great and super informative. I learned so much and it was really cool to explore the park and see areas I normally wouldn't, like the press box or the rooftop garden. You get great views of the city. So even if you don't care about baseball, it's still a fun excursion while visiting Boston.

So cool to see our Minnesota Twins play here. This place is liking walking into a Time Machine. I kept expecting Shoeless Joe Jackson to rise out of the Charles River to 'go the distance'. Wow this place is nostalgic! We didn't eat here so I can't comment on food. Staff was great helping take a few pics for us and directing us as needed. You can't walk around the whole stadium because of the green monster but we walked around to both sides to check out all the views which I recommend to any visitor. I liked that the rows were so short to reduce people climbing in front of you. We sat close to the visitor dugout which were amazing seats. The park is so 'on top of the field' that there are lots of great seats. Be careful though, seats behind columns or under the roof can limit your ability to see the ball. Such a cool experience!

The Home of the Red Sox. The charm of an old stadium- you can feel the history. The Green Monster. But you can feel the old. Paint chips missing from seats, tight seats at that. We visit any stadium we can get to in our travels and newer stadiums are very sterile. I do love feeling the history. Knowing that things can still stay the same. What was new and I didn't like: ordering food at a kiosk. The line was extremely long. I think I was in line for a whole inning. This did not speed the process up at all. Seams poorly designed and I felt bad for the workers. And I couldn't even tell is my husbands sausage was going to have peppers and onions on it (it did.) The KidsNation area was set up nice to do a few things before/during the ballgame. My kids were really into testing their speed throwing balls and the 'clubhouse' with the pitchers phone. I think this is a way better idea than putting playgrounds inside stadiums because then watching a game turns into watching your kid at a playground. Pro tip: Speaking of KidsNation- if you have kids create them an account on their website. You get one free ticket per kid per season for a game! That's how we just caught this game. Overall... Fenway is my home. GO SOX!

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this iconic ballpark? It's a classic and I thoroughly enjoyed my time. It feels old but in a good way. It's like taking a walk back in time! The seats are pretty small so be prepared to get comfy with your neighbors. And if you frequent the bathroom or the bar (or both?) definitely get an aisle seat as it's impossible to squeeze through a row without making everyone stand. I was lucky enough to catch a Sox vs. Yankees game and even witnessed a home run hit over the Green Monstah. I'm not super big into sports but this experience was one I will never forget!

Late in the pandemic season mid 2023, the bag policy has loosened from the earlier clear bag to a single compartment 12x12x6 inch bag. A sealed bottle of water still allowed. I saw some normal small cross body purses making it past, so perhaps they aren't so strict on the smaller bags? I didn't personally want to risk it though. For food, I googled the options at Fenway ahead of time and ran across: https://ballparkeguides.com/fenway-park-food-menu/ The maple bacon burger sounded mighty tasty to me. A beef patty with maple bacon, caramelized onions, and Vermont cheddar cheese on a brioche bun. I hunted it down in the Concourse. It wasn't the prettiest thing, but I definitely was not disappointed! $12.50 for 1230 calories (yup, I turned a blind eye to that). While I didn't get a Fenway frank this time around, I did have some decent fries (wish they had honey mustard in the condiment station, but I made do with the ketchup. There were two kinds of mustard but no relish for the hot dog fans.) and a box of Cracker Jacks later on during the game. We didn't win, but it didn't rain and I had a good time. 2023 visit ** Mid 2024, the annoying bag policy continued. But I have since picked up a clear tote, so I'm now ready for next year! When you buy a hot dog from the stands, in terms of condiments, you get what you get and you don't get upset. Fortunately though, someone else from my group had received extra ketchup, while I had only received mustard, so I didn't have to do without. I guess we have to walk for a hot dog if you want relish. I witnessed my first Walk Off after the changeover of overtime play rules - I was so confused as to how a run was scored by a player that I didn't realize was in play... But at least the game didn't go on so late. 2024 visit

I wish the food at Fenway Park was better. The Italian sausage and Fenway Frank, along with the chicken tenders, were greasy and lukewarm. The flavors just weren't there, and the options felt pretty limited. It's a shame because the atmosphere is fantastic, but the food really brings it down. Here's hoping they step it up with more and better options. Also the "Chicken Caesar salad wrap" was not even tightly wrapped with cut up pieces of warm chicken tenders inside. It fell apart once I started biting into it. I don't even know if it considers a real chicken Caesar wrap. Eat a tasty burger nearby before coming.

Fenway park is very historic baseball stadium. I have seen a few concerts here and really have nothing bad to say. The sound system, stage placement is really great. I have seen baseball games here too obviously. Some of the chairs are not the most comfy but it's a part of the history of this iconic ballpark. If you are ever in Boston this is one place you should go. They have tours which I have never done but they sound interesting. This ballpark also has a nice/ somewhat private ( tickets are needed) for this bar area that is way up top of the ballpark. They have private bars indoors and one outside and the bathrooms are pretty cool they have a tv inside of it. This special place is called Aura Pavilion.

This review is for the fella at the ticket office. Prior to my arrival in Boston (From San Diego)- I was having issues creating an account on the Ballpark App. I've tried multiple times/ day before arriving here. I checked Fenways website and called the ticket office ahead of time, to confirm I could get tickets printed out. I even checked on Google Maps to see the exact location of the ticket office- that way I'm not circling around wasting time. Heads up- ticket office is located at: 6 Jersey Street- directly across the street from Red Sox Corner Store. I took the Green Line and hopped off at Kenmore Station. Easy walking distance from the station to the ticket office also. I thought the ticket office opened at 9am! Oopsies! Opens at 10am! So, I had time & money to burn- I went to the Red Sox store & bought some merch & walked to Pavement Coffee House for a refreshment. Back to my review... arrived in time at 10am. I was explaining to the fella behind the ticket window my issue with creating the Ballpark account. We tried troubleshooting the issue on my phone- then he read what the screen has been telling me this whole time: Oops! Something went wrong. Try again later. I showed him my ID and email confirmation. Although I purchased the tickets on FEVO (didn't realize it was a 3rd party distributor- I rarely watch baseball)- he was able to see what I purchased on their system. And tah dahhhh! Both tickets are printed now! Whew! One less app to have on my phone!!

During my first trip to Boston, I had the incredible opportunity to visit the famed Fenway Park. Opting for the stadium tour, which cost $25, I gained access inside the stadium to delve into its rich history and get an up-close view of the ballfield. The tour was a fantastic experience, offering a deep dive into the storied past of one of baseball's most iconic venues. Walking through the stands and seeing the Green Monster up close was a highlight. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating anecdotes and historical facts that brought the stadium's legacy to life.

Fenway Park is iconic, nostalgic, and epic. The park takes you back in time and places you near the action amongst faithful fans. Been here twice and they love their military. Always special to come back here and watch the old ballgame.

Five stars all the way! A little bit of bias because my SF Giants won while I was there but taking that out of the equation, this ballpark is a firm five stars! I admit I was a little intimidated to show up in my Giants gear at Fenway. It's one of the oldest and most beloved ballparks. Everyone there, fans and employees alike, showed me and my husband a welcoming time and made the trip amazing. We are on a quest to visit all of the ballparks when our Giants play and we were lucky enough to score some great seats to a game. To maximize your experience, I recommend you get to a game right when the gates open. We were greeted by a gentleman on stilts that was taking photos with fans and ushering everyone in to the outside ticketed area where you have access to a HUGE team store as well as some yummy eats. After checking out the exterior stuff, we made our way in to the ballpark and walked around to all the different locations. The ushers welcomed us and even pointed out various landmarks to check out. Pesky's pole is my fav :) Once the game got going, fans were cheering and were very into the game. This is a sports town people so if you are visiting, put down your phone and immerse yourself into Boston sports culture. You may even find yourself accidentally cheering for the home team if you get caught up in the fever! Sweet Caroline was a show stopping moment, the whole crowd sings and rallies together. It was pretty awesome to join in and be a part of that tradition. This is one of my favorite ballparks. If you are visiting for one time to check it off your bucket list, splurge and buy some nice seats. The view is great, the fans are awesome and the ballpark is amazing. I will forever cheer for my Giants but will remember this as a top park to visit!

Fenway "Pahk" in the distinctive Boston accent, is the oldest operating Major League Baseball stadium in the country! Built and completed in 1912 it has been the home of the storied Boston Red Sox for one hundred and twelve years. This is my third visit here ('95 & '97) and all were for Yankee - Red Sox games, which is arguably is the oldest pro sports team rivalry. We did a pre-game park tour, which allowed us to walk on the field behind home plate and sit atop the green monster in left field. It was really nice and the weather was unbeatable. They have a fairly large vegetable garden behind the left field stands. I believe most of the vegetables get donated to local charities, nice! For the game we sat in Grandstand 21 which is behind home plate. We did not have an obstructed view so we were able to see everything. You have be mindful of that when ordering tickets. Concessions, well, eat before you get here. Choices are not great and the offerings are pretty basic. But, you are here to experience the place and enjoy the game. Some trivia. The infield is dirt, the areas behind home plate, down the left and right field lines, and the warning track, is crushed red lava. It was crushed brick but changed it for drainage purposes. By measurement it's the smallest park in the country but has the largest press box. The Green Monster, which is 37' high, was built in 1914 to keep people on Landsdowne Street from watching the game for free. At that time the street had a large number of bars and taverns. The Green Monster wasn't referred to as such until 1947 when the advertisements were removed and the wall pained Fen Green. Its the only stadium where both foul poles are names. Right field is the "Pesky Pole." Left field is the "Fisk Pole." Yankees lost 8-4 on 6/15 when we went. They dropped the series too. My son, the BIG Yankee fan was not happy. But, we had a great time and he marked another stadium visit on his list. If you're a baseball fan, Fenway is a must visit. Take the pre game tour! You will enjoy it very much.

I've never really liked baseball. It's too slow and role-constrained for me. Nevertheless, I took my two nephews ages 11 and 14 on a tour of Fenway Park, baseball's oldest stadium. I paid $25 each for the tour via the MLB app (no same-day ticket purchases on the app)--it may have been a little cheaper for the 11-year-old. Our tickets were for 5 p.m. but we arrived a bit before 4 and they said if we wanted to take the 4 p.m. tour that would be fine with them. So we joined that group and were taken all around the park by our guide Sarah. On the tour we visited the oldest seats in baseball, we went to the press box, we checked out the seats on the green monster and ended up in a memorabilia room. The entire tour took one hour and was a combination of Red Sox pride, baseball history, Yankee rivalry, and Boston humor. The others in the tour group were from all over the country and in a very good mood. It was not exactly a stroller friendly tour, I'd recommend a carrier instead if you were to bring a 7-month-old for example--this was one of the few things that my wife and baby say out. Not because babies weren't allowed but because they needed a break.

We're from CT. When my son was around 6, we took him to his first MLB game in Tampa while we were on vacation. The game was indoors. Some fans were peppered around the seats, but it felt dead. I immediately regretted not waiting until we could take him to Fenway. Last night was our first family Major League Pro Sports game since the Pandemic. It was raining, but the game was still 10,000 percent better than that Rays game. The stadium is so original and classic. The Monster. The weird foul line rules. The lively surrounding area. How you're packed in with a bunch of great people! Fenway is my favorite stadium. I'm not sure I even have a second favorite. Five Stars

Came here for a corporate event at private booth. It was the biggest booth I have ever seen. Super spacious with a large indoor seating for bar, food and many tables. Outdoor space was decent for game viewing, networking, and spacing out in general. I met some sports fans at the event and they educated me on how historical this park is and how incredible it is... i unfortunately don't remember much but at least I know this is an awesome historical ball park... We had a lovely time here socializing. It was fun.

Game night @ Fenway . Growing up in Boston game night is everything , The park is super friendly, welcoming and my home base . Parking is metered or parking lot . I hope we win tonight .

ok. So I'm never giving 5 stars as a NY Yankee fan but I have to admit the place is a shrine to all that love baseball. I was corrected by an usher too that it is not a stadium, it is a ballpark. (Good point well taken) Being there brings you back to the days of legends and not the current millionaire mentality that (IMO) has taken a lot away from the game. Sat 10 rows behind my Yankees while they were visiting. Good seats from pretty much anywhere. I will tell you the (box) seats are a little narrow compared to many modern parks. A true baseball fan will make the trip here (and to Wrigley) Boston is a great city but make sure you stop by for a game. The city is very proud of it.

Very eclectic and a great experience overall. Most of the staff were polite and helpful. Only problem was a guy walking around during the national anthem, which I must say as a veteran I find very offensive. I think he noticed my dissatisfaction and claimed he worked at the park and got in my face and question me. I took the opportunity to tell him I didn't believe he worked here and was being disrespectful for walking around during the anthem. All that during a game when a veteran was being acknowledged.

First time in Fenway Park and it didn't disappoint its reputation! The weather was amazing into 60s which is not too bad for April ;) Located right in the middle of the city, it was easy to reach from Cambridge and the entrance was organized and didn't take much time. On a nice warm day, having a chilled Sam Adam's beer is heavenly! My first time but definitely not the last!!!

What an amazing day! Fun had by all weather was great food was great too the T in didn't have to worry about parking Fenway is amazing

The stadium holds a lot of history. I went to see the Padres play against the Red Sox, and it was amazing because it was my first major league game, and my team won! I suggest trying their Irish Nachos and loaded Italian Sausage links. My brother had their lobster rolls, and he loved them.

I haven't been to many ballparks in my life. I see my Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park and watched them play at Cleveland's Progressive Field when it was still named Jacobs Field. Now I can say I had the honor of watching a game at Fenway Park where thankfully my Tigers beat the Red Sox 5-0. Aside from the victory of my hometown team Fenway Park is a beautiful place to watch a ballgame. So much history and plenty of food vendors all around. I enjoyed the antiquated look of the seats which were surprisingly comfortable. I also ate one of the largest all-beef hotdogs I've ever had in my life and it was delicious! That's one item knocked off my bucket list!

I worked in the catering department. It was the worst run kitchen I've ever worked in my 20 years in the business. The female chef often talked about the owners wives " saying the wives often complain about not wanting salt in their food. The same female chef often had the staff working on the same orders because she's very unorganized and often brings panic energy to the kitchen. The chicken is never cleaned properly, it's just seasoned right out the box of slime it comes in. I'm willing to testify this in any courtroom. Enjoy the game, Don't eat anything coming from the catering department

Trying to give an unbiased fair review, I may get some slack for this. First the positives- Fenway is historical, its iconic. The environment when its packed and during Sweet Caroline is fantastic. It is absolutely worth a visit for those aspects alone. But from other fan experiences, it can be poor at best. The wooden seat was not comfortable and cramped when you have people sitting on either side of you, anyone telling you otherwise it lying. Sight lines from many seats are horrible; my seat is facing the complete opposite way from home plate. Poles obstruct views and if you are sitting back in the grandstand, the second deck will obstruct views of any pop up. All around it just feels difficult to enjoy the game comfortably. Concession lines were extremely long, and to some extent the same with bathroom lines, but compared to other venues, it could be worse. Routing interests aside, it is worth a trip, but there are many upgrades that can be made while still preserving it's historical nature to make for a better fan experience.

One star because it is the Boston Red Sox. Cannot knock free tickets though. I will give the surrounding Boston area props though adding that pathway from the stadium to the green line.

Amazing history and tradition in this stadium. It was a last minute decision to go to the game. We were able to get some incredible seats. The concession stands move people through quickly. There are plenty of hawkers walking through the stands if you don't want to get up. The hot dogs were not too expensive and tasty. I also got some ice cream. It was Hood soft serve. If you have the kiddos with you, you can get sprinkles. We loved our experience. It was fantastic that the Red Sox beat the Yankees.

Ahhh quintessential Boston. The best nights always begin and end with a Red Sox game at Fenway park. The energy, the food, the drinks, the crisp air. What more could you want? Italian sausage? Check. These sausages as tasty and HUGE. Some onions and peppers on top would really make me go wow. Still delicious though. Fenway Frank? Check check. Nothing like a plain hotdog in a soft bun with some ketchup and mustard. You know what they say, don't fix what's working. A beer in hand and a somewhat decent ball game? Triple check. No matter the Sox's record for the season, you can count on Fenway to always give off high energy and radiate amazing summer vibes the minute you step foot on Landsdowne or Yawkey Way. Special shoutout to the late Tim Wakefield. One of the greats to ever wear a Red Sox uniform.

Fenway Park was on my Boston Bucketlist and it did not disappoint (unless you were sitting behind a pillar!) The stadium brings back old time feels, with its green color, and simple food and drink menus. The stadium is huge and even features The Famous Big Green. I tried their Fenway Franks which were delicious, and seasonal IPA. The game I saw was on Sunday, June 16- the Red Sox vs Yankees, and boy was that entertaining! The two rivals have a lot to say, both on the field and in the grandstand! Lol. Nonetheless, I had an awesome time and would definitely come back again! Happy Journeys

You're not a sox fan if you don't make it to fenway. Abstructed views, overpriced concessions, tight seats, yet charming in its own way. Really a place that needs to be on everyone's bucket list.

If you are a baseball fan then a visit to Fenway Park should be on your bucket list. Sure the seats are circa 1910 (narrow), some are obstructed view, and certain sections do not face home plate but it's the oldest MLB park, so...... Spend the money and buy good seats try Gametime, Stubhub, or even MLB.com. Get there early and go to the bleacher bar for a beer and a great view from center field for warmups. Hit the Cask and Flagon for a Sam's before hitting up Jersey St. Be sure to have a sausage sandwich at El Tiante's and another Sam's. Enjoy the pregame vibe, buy a souvenir at the pro shop, or just have fun. Gametime! You will note that the green monsta appears to be a real short porch or check out the distance to Pesky's pole in right field. A pop fly to either field is an HR or a hit off the monsta is an HR in any other park. Pro tip: Sign up for the Fenway Park tour in the afternoon it is uber cool!

It's a classic. Very lively atmosphere around the park prior to game time. Huge team store on Jersey Street with friendly service and quick check out. Lots of vendors bringing around all your ballpark favorites. Gotta get a hot dog. Pretzels were a little crispy. Hot chocolate wasn't hot and those souvenir mugs leak so skip that. Seats are a bit snug. If you have any interest in baseball or history Fenway is a must.

I have never been to a baseball game anywhere before. And my first experience with the Red Sox at Fenway stadium has made me their fan for LIFE. It was beyond amazing! The crowd, the atmosphere and the ENERGY was Boston at its happiest. So interactive and impossible not to get wrapped up in. We took the transit transportation and got off at the closest station to Fenway and walked the rest of the way to the stadium. It was a bit of a hike but it was so cool getting to walk around and see the little places you can duck in to eat or get a drink. Getting into the park with our tickets was easy to do and they had many options once inside the gates on food or drinks. We got the customary hot dog and popcorn which came in a super cute Boston Red Sox plastic cap. If we were locals we would be season pass holders without a doubt and our kids would be a part of that club. Getting to sing "Take me out to the ballgame"was such a highlight. There is nothing to compare it to. And the kids at the game were having such a wonderful time. They were cracking me up moving from seat to empty seat with their ballcaps and mits. Dancing in the isles. Singing as loud as they could. I loved loved LOVED it. If you're ever in Boston and have the chance to catch a game DO IT. It was worth every penny for that experience.

As an invited guest of one of my banker friends who happened to be in Boston at a conference (this was an evening conference event) the same time we were passing through, we were thrilled to partake in a very special experience and that was having Fenway Park practically to ourselves! There is also a publicly offered tour for Fenway Park and I'd highly recommend it to any baseball fan. This very old franchise, think 1912, and just drips in history. Lots of historical relics of "The Babe" to see as you walk the corridors. It's very much like a museum and a must see for baseball fans. The World Series Championship trophy's are on display and they are giant and awesome in person. My tour was very private but I'd go back and pay for one Offered to the general public. Standing in the bleachers all by yourself, looking out at the "Green Monster" was awesome. I highly recommend visiting this institution even if you may not be a Red Sox fan if you're in the neighborhood don't miss it.

Amazing tour of this beautiful stadium. The ticket was 25 bucks , little over an hour tour. Worth every penny.

Legendary ballpark that's a must visits, regardless of who your team is. Get your fill of beer and nachos while you enjoy a nice blend of old world feel and modern updates.

A trip to Boston wouldn't be complete without taking in a Red Sox game at Fenway. Although it would have been nice to see them play the Yankees, we decided to take in an afternoon game vs the Baltimore Orioles. It proved to be a wise choice as it rained most of the week and the latter games ended up getting postponed. We were running a bit late from Sam Adams, but because of the rain, the start of the game was delayed. We made it just as the national anthem was being performed. Before taking our seats, we ordered some nachos. Nachos were $11, but I was amazed at how much you got. They also included pico, chili, sour cream, and jalapeños. Lucky for us our seats stayed dry despite the rain. Game was entertaining and the Sox pulled out the W, 7-3.

What can I say . Greatest ballpark in the planet. You can still feel the past history in the air when in your seat's . The home crowd get really into the games and the prices are on par with other winning stadiums

I don't watch baseball but this is a MUST! This is more than just baseball, it is a fantastic tour of American History in the world of sports, baseball, development. This tour was quite nice and the tour guides are walking encyclopedias of Fenway. Have always knew about Fenway but not really know it. This will help you appreciate it when Fenway is mentioned throughout our cultural cues. Also at the end when you see some of the memorabilia that has been well kept, it includes not only Boston Red Sock players, but other baseball greats that made American history (Jackie Robinson, tried out but never played for the club).

Amazing and historic park! I feel like any seat would be a good seat here! We had an amazing experience, and I definitely recommend the Frosted/Slushie Lemonades they are amazing.

The classic gem of Boston. Whether you're here for a Red Sox game or for a concert, you're going to have a great time. Get yourself some Fenway franks and a few beers and enjoy one of the best atmospheres in Major League Baseball. When you're hammered and you've had about three glizzys and join in singing Sweet Caroline with 38,000 other people.... you'll understand. Bah bah baahhhhh.

Wonderful icon. If you are thin and agile it's a great place to watch the Sox. If you are old, thick or out of shape watching on TV is better. We went in a tour and I am proudly in the vigorous category and it was fabulous! Others in our group fell (yes fell) or had to delay the group by finding elevators. The tour is not for the feeble. Go Sox!

It was October and the season for the Red Sox was over when we visited Boston. But we got to take the tour! What a fabulous tour! $20 per person. ***Know before you go that MLB doesn't allow backpacks inside. My husband had to go a block a half away to a barber shop to stow his backpack. Otherwise everything was great. We got to go all over the stadium, inside the visitors clubhouse & the press box. We heard all the history of how the stadium was built and the owners and changes. A very worthwhile tour to do!
