We were really excited for our first visit, but unfortunately the overall experience was impacted by how crowded the property was. We were not informed there would be three weddings that weekend, and the amount of non-guest traffic made it feel overwhelmingly busy. At check-in we also had to wait about 40 minutes due to a fire situation, which we understand can happen, but combined with everything else it didn’t start the stay off very smoothly. When we went up to the rooftop we couldn’t even find space to stand or order a drink, which took away from what we were hoping would be a relaxing first impression. We grabbed drinks from the downstairs bar and sat on an open couch, but were then asked to move by a photographer so they could take wedding photos, which ended up taking much longer than the “5 minutes” we were told. That said, the valet team was fantastic. The guys were friendly, welcoming, and honestly one of the highlights of our stay. They gave us great recommendations for food around town and really made us feel taken care of every time we came and went. The restaurant staff and food were also excellent and definitely a bright spot of the trip. Overall the property is beautiful and has potential, but better communication about large events would really help set expectations and improve the guest experience.

If you like historic hotels, this is for you. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was like a small bedroom. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect for walking downtown via sidewalk by the water or the walking path. The restaurant was also good for the meal we had there. However, The pool was disappointing. My suggestions for the hotel would be; have golf carts available for rent- have bikes available for use without having to use an app and credit card. Even if there’s a fee. The app rarely works and is very difficult to use. Overall our stay was very enjoyable but I do think it’s overpriced for what you get.

I was in town for meeting just a one night stay. Quirky hotel I was very surprised by the size of room and tiny bathroom. Very clean but small and at this price point I expected better. Super friendly valets and check-in very good. Main bar sophia was awesome |Very expensive breakfast. Small omelette side of bacon and a coffee $33 plus tip |Would I stay again ? Only if I had to attend a meeting

Attended a Wedding last night that was magnificent. The venue was perfect. Well done. The main bar was a good place too start. I however one of the bartenders name David needs sensitivity training. The young lady that we met ended her shift and was replaced by another young lady that was equally polite. This guy David was not. Not the kind of person the Fenway would want their patrons to meet on arrival.

A great spot for an anniversary or another special day. My wife and I love this hotel as we love the jazz and the jazz age. The hotel has the appropriate theme with great restaurants and a bar. The hotel has a wonderful location And it is not too busy in a times when everything else is. Definitely also a nice place to potentially have a wedding or honeymoon.

The Fenway Hotel was perfect for our team meeting of 20. The Caldessi meeting room has wonderful natural light with an adjacent terrace for outside eating. The staff are so accommodating and helpful. The chef is excellent and produced tasty food. The facility is beautiful and unique. Directly across the street from the water with beautiful sunsets. Quaint town and restaurants are within 8-10 minute walk. Highly recommend.

Terrible Experience at Fenway Hotel, Autograph Collection – Avoid This Place!|1/5 Stars – Absolutely Disgraceful Service|I stayed at the Fenway Hotel in Dunedin, Florida, expecting a decent boutique experience from a Marriott Autograph Collection property. What a massive disappointment! The absolute low point came on checkout day when we went down to the on-site restaurant, HEW Parlor & Chophouse, at 9:30 AM for breakfast – a perfectly reasonable time since they serve it until at least 1-2 PM on weekends.|We were bluntly told there were no tables available because they had reservations for two large groups, and since we hadn’t made a prior reservation, tough luck! Are you kidding me? We’re paying guests at the hotel, checking out that morning, and you prioritize external groups over your own residents? No apology, no effort to accommodate us, no alternative suggestions – just a flat-out rejection. We had to scramble and leave hungry, ruining our departure.|This is not how you treat hotel guests, especially in a supposed upscale property. It feels like they care more about booking big parties for revenue than providing basic amenities to people actually staying there. Unacceptable, rude, and utterly unprofessional. If you’re staying here, don’t count on using the restaurant without begging for a reservation in advance – even for something as simple as breakfast.|The rest of the stay was mediocre at best, but this breakfast fiasco sealed it: I will never return and strongly advise others to skip the Fenway Hotel. There are plenty of better options in Dunedin that actually value their guests. Save your money and your sanity!

Location: Pros: Water view, close to wide walking paths (Suggest doing a loop using inland path and then path by the water), quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Dunedin, multiple breweries, pro and semi pro baseball games. Cons: hard to find parking in Clearwater Beach, many shops and restaurants in Dunedin aren't open 7 days. Property: 2.5 floors, U shaped building with small pool. Ground floor has restaurant, small stage, bar and high end clothing. Decent elevator, bikes to rent, valet parking ($18), renovated rooms, roof top bar with great water views Would strongly recommend upgrading to a water view room preferably on third floor. There are also a limited number of water view rooms on the 2nd floor. Marriott no longer lets you make requests on their booking website so call the Hotel directly. If you can't get a water view room, suggest drinking your early morning coffee at tables on the rooftop bar. The following Exceeded my expectations. *3rd Floor room was large in both the room and the bathroom (double sinks, large shower). king bed, large armoire, mini bar was full bottles. Beautiful water view. *The house bar had an enormous amount of high end liquor for such a small resort. It is pricey *Live Jazz performance, check schedule on website *The French toast for breakfast. The dining room itself was dark. Another option for breakfast is Home plate on the trail restaurant especially in their patio area. We met friends for dinner at Bon Appetit, would recommend the seafood bouillabaisse. *The welcome drink at the start of our stay. *The staff was exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable. Shout out to Kelly, Nate, Kendall and the people at the front desk and our waitress in the dining room.

Always great to start on the rooftop with a cocktail and to watch the sunset before dinner. Then downstairs for a fabulous meal. We like to sit at the counter and watch the chef in action. The food never disappoints!

Absolutely beautiful venue right on the water! You can't beat the views here. Gorgeous historical style hotel with modern ambiance and decor. I was here for a wedding in October, which was stunning!! We came for Sunday brunch with friends and ate at the restaurant downstairs. I was happy they had vegan options (milk for the coffee and a delicious oat bowl). Although they didn't have bottomless mimosas, we ordered a couple of bottles with OJ for the table. Lovely space and amazing service. Highly recommend!

David at the lobby bar recognized me and had my drink waiting even before I was seated. This is why I keep coming back. He also wears the best shirts!

This Hotel is a gem in Dunedin Florida. Rooftop bar, lovely Spanish style, with a wonderful pool in the middle. The staff and management are just outstanding!! Every single time we interact with the staff, they are welcoming, well spoken and extremely efficient. This is the hotel that you want to stay if you are looking for an experience. Not just a room. This Hotel is the whole thing. Come see for yourselves this incredible hidden gem overlooking the ocean from the balcony of the rooftop or having a bite Al fresco at the entrance. Next to the wonderful landscape gardens

This is not a review about the hotel. This is a review on Room 27. Group of friends and I went to the Halloween Spookeasy. Was cute, themed okay, and drinks were delicious. For a themed place like this that we don't have to go Orlando for, it's okay. Only complaint was that we paid $20 per person to get into the small room and when we got the menu there was no pricing on any of the drinks. Would have loved to know what we were in for. Also, there was no wine on the menu which was interesting as the drinks were topped with wine. The write up said there was ghost stories & the bar tender said " usually we have 12 people instead of 15". She gave one story after I asked her about it, but didn't seem spooky enough to pay $20 in the door and $20 per drink with a 2 drink minimum. Lame excuse for something we paid good money for. I did it, it was enjoyable, but will I be returning.... No.

This hotel is amazing. It's definitely not a place that you would bring your kids for a fun vacation. It's a great place if you're here on business or if it's an adult couple visiting the Tampa or Clearwater area. I was upgraded to a suite. Room 269. It was clean and comfortable and everything I needed. Decorations are cute, colorful, and well appointed. I had lunch at the restaurant downstairs, and the chef had a special gnocchi, and it was fantastic and the perfect proportions. I didn't know that the reservation that I booked included to drink vouchers, which were great to use by the pool during the day. The hotel is right across from the bay and you can see Clearwater Beach and honeymoon Island. The walking trail that is a block behind the hotel is fantastic and shaded. It was perfect for my morning walk. I decided to walk to Dunedin and check out the shops. It's a great funky town and it's about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. When I arrived back at the hotel, after my work about last night, they had live music, which was wonderful. I think most importantly, the service has been second to none. I travel for work almost every week, and it's hard to find great service. The staff is attentive, kind, and professional , and they go out of their way to help you. This includes everyone from the bartender to the valet. I didn't think that I would like staying here because there is no beach. But this was beyond what I imagined.

No hot water in faucet. No counter space in bathroom to put toiletries. Only one chair to sit in. So cold in the room we wore our sweatshirts and didn't want to get dressed for bed. We had a view of the cats in the parking lot even though we spent $400 per night. The bed is comfortable and staff is very responsive to our needs and complaints. Nice large Tv and full length mirror and closet.

The Fenway is the best hotel to stay at if you have business in Dunedin, Clearwater or Tarpon Springs. It's local vibe, live music, along with great food and drink make a special place to stay. Pro Tip: Ride their bikes to downtown Dunedin, or ask for them to setup Croquet on the front lawn.

I'm shocked about the other reviews. Because of those, we had high expectations only to be extremely disappointed with everything. We paid OVER $600 for one single night and this is what happened: First, the so-called store had a few shirts and hats and some ridiculous toys. No snacks, toothpaste or anything else you'd expect in a hotel store. Rooms were small. My husband felt like we were in a motel six. And this was a surprise. This was Valentine's Day. They had two different performers on Monday and Tuesday, but not on Wednesday, Valentine's Day. HEW, their restaurant had a no-choice menu so you couldn't order off the menu. And, frankly, they had nothing u would eat. Both bars showed little interest in serving me. Jordan was on his phone at first and took forever to acknowledge I was even there. Upstairs , after probably 15 minutes, one of the many bartenders acknowledged me but that was it. I left. The lobby is smaller than any hotel I've ever paid over $600 for. The shower curtain rod was rusty. Damage to the bar chairs. I just expect so much more. Really no where to sit is the bar. We won't be back. To make matters worse, we were charged double and have to talk to the accountant about getting one charge back.

We have been meeting New York friends on the West Coast of Florida for the past three years and this is the third time we've stayed at the Fenway. The location is perfect, rooms are clean and very comfortable & we are always happy to use and gain points at a Marriott. We valeted our car for $18 daily and checked in on a very busy Friday night, as a wedding ceremony is happening on the front lawn. We were given kir royals, breakfast vouchers & our keys. #344 our room had a view of the gulf from the bathroom. It has a large double sink, safe, robes, lily coffee maker, fridge & everything we could possibly need for a long weekend. We had a large noisy room air conditioner with a vent blown cling & going out the window, the room feels very dark because our view is blocked. I asked for a coffee & was surprised to get a tray with a pot of coffee. We heard music, cars and noise from the wedding, we were pleased it became quiet by 10:30. Check out was easy but there was a line up of 5 cars at the valet & it took time to get our car out. I actually got out of the car, moved cones & directed traffic.

From the moment we arrived Wen received the best treatment. The staff was welcoming and kind and really made us feel special. The rooms are clean and spacious with everything we needed. We'll definitely be back. Added bonus is the rooftop bar!!

Love this hotel! It is a Marriott property, but has such a local feel. Two blocks from the trail and looks at the ocean/beach! Pet friendly and absolutely exceptional service in all areas. The puppies and I LOVE this gem.

It was a fabulous new dining experience and the roof top bar looks busy and great. Love the fact the rooms are wonderful would say they sure did make it a great renovation.

We attended a welcome party and wedding the next day .. The rooms were very nice a spacious shower beds delish! Day of the wedding was a delight every staffer had a smile on thier faceThe food at the wedding was actual hot !! Had drinks at the rooftop bar and what a few even at night .. Try this gem out for drinks or dinner !!!

Character, history, and location makes this a pretty unique and good hotel. The Fenway has a 20's Speakeasy and jazz feel to it. And with that, there are some good and not so good aspects to this hotel. Service and front desk were friendly and set a good vibe. Bad part is that you will have to haul your luggage yourself from your car, up some stairs to the check-in desk, and then eventually to your room yourself. The valets and/or employees there will not offer this service. There is only one elevator for the whole hotel, so waiting can be commonplace when going to and from your room or other areas of the hotel. Exterior of the building is beautiful and so are the grounds. The Hotel is not right on the water or really has access to the water but it's close enough that you can get a view of the water (but also depends on your room itself). Rooftop bar is great and offers nice views of the water and property. But it can get very crowded early and/or at certain times. Rooms are decent. Sort of small and nothing special. But does have a few small touches that makes it nice and a step up from your standard hotel room. Should fill the mini-fridges in the room with less drinks. I think most people would agree that 20 different types of can and bottled drinks and water is really not needed. There was not enough room to put any of own stuff in there to cool off and/or stay fresh. Our baby food, our own drinks, leftovers, etc. could not fit and thus we had to remove some of the drinks and leave them on the counter. Created a mess and clutter on the drawer's countertop. Loved that the fan had a large fan to keep the room circulated. Would be nice if the bathroom had an exhaust fan (fart fan). Outside pool is smaller than what it looks like on the website. Nothing special here or any great views but overall not bad. Inside bar / Ground Floor - is convenient and has a nice setup. The middle-aged bartender when we were there was not friendly at all and very surly and kind of rude. But there is a music riser/stage near the bar that has some live music on certain nights. The hotel is close to downtown Dunedin which is a bonus. Close enough to bike there; which The Fenway has some bikes to rent onsite.

This place was amazing! The band was awesome and the food and drinks were on point! The wait staff were hopping and on it! Add a bonus sky after the sunset! Ya gotta go!!!

We stayed for two nights at the Fenway, and want to give high praise to the staff. Professional and courteous all the way around. But, the room (we upgraded to a suite) was dirty. The rug was disgusting, and the couch was totally unusable. The armrests were stained as were the cushions, so as a result it was impossible to relax in the room. It's really too bad because this hotel could be outstanding. It's a short walk to main st Dunedin, which is a lovely town with some great dining options such as The Black Pearl and The Living Room. All in all, this hotel needs a renovation to make it all it could and should be and we'd never stay here again until they attend to the obvious major issues at the property.

The Rooftop bar is great except for the food. Their charcuterie board isn't even a board, it's a bowl, and very disappointing. Save your money and don't order it!!

When it comes to restoration projects, this hotel is truly an exemplary building. This historic jazz age property is a beauty. It's history began with its construction in 1924, it functioned as a hotel, as a private club and then, very recently, a hotel again. It's a neat property all around from a design standpoint. Restoration is quite good on the surface, but not luxurious or meticulous by any means. As far as recognition for Marriott elite status (ambassador in this case), it's fairly minimal. No upgrade, breakfast is minimal selections of only one item from the menu and no other perks. The breakfast of croissants and fruit was tasty and croissants very fresh, but when staying four nights, it gets quite old. The room didn't even have a view, unless one enjoys looking at air conditioning units. The hotel was not fully occupied, thus in summary, status is rather useless here. The rooms, despite being recently renovated, are very, very small. Certainly not Florida style rooms, but more comparable to what one would find in New York room. Design in most ways is pretty neat throwback to the times with a twist of contemporary modernism through brass and fixtures. The basics such as slippers and coffee maker were missing, but were brought to the room rapidly upon request. The headboards were detached from the bed, making it reminiscent of a motel as opposed to an Autograph Collection. Odd area to cut costs. In all other aspects of design, the room was very well appointed, with comfy bathrobes, South America inspired tile and Amazon Alexa. Service was excellent. Front desk always well staffed. Breakfast restaurant staff on point. Valet quick. So, summing up the Fenway is a bit difficult as it ultimately depends on the price paid. It is unique and sharp. It misses to hit the high points on status recognition and room size. It is conveniently located and cozy.

Our first time at Fenway as a one-night staycation with family over thanksgiving to enjoy each other without distraction. Colton greeted us at check in and his friendliness set the mood for the next 24 hours. The staff are very proud to represent this historic building and all that Dunedin has to offer, including the view from hotel. It's a tradition for guests to enjoy 3rd floor HiFi rooftop Sunset together, with staff counting down and a guest clanging symbols at Sunset. The hotel is surrounded by activities that don't involve a car: Pinellas Trail is only 400 steps away ( we counted!): Downtown Dunedin and Marina just 3 blocks; and Dunedin Blue Jays Stadium is only 4 blocks. Honeymoon State Park is a short drive, but also connected to Pinellas Trail if biking. Croquet equipment at front desk for playing on the front lawn and bikes are free to check out. Building is 3 stories and updated to be ADA accessible, including pool and watching sunset at rooftop bar. All sidewalks from hotel to Pinellas Trail updated to ADA for crossing streets. Parking is by valet only as local street closed to guest parking. Check with hotel if you have multiple vehicles or guests visiting and need parking. If you are a Blue Jays spring training buff, stay at Fenway and never drive during your visit. Restaurants and local brewing pubs, all shirts and sandals casual, are plentiful and within walking distance of Downtown or on Pinellas Trail. As hotel is newly renovated, rooms are very clean and decorated with Scottish colors. Nightly free entertainment in lobby that is generally a jazz duet., with full coffee and liquor bar. The history of the building goes back to early 1920's, as it hosted first radio broadcast on rooftop for Pinellas County and has an exhibit showing entrance to the speak easy that was part of building. The Fenway is proud to incorporate local activities and non profit fundraising. As a local you can enjoy registering for a wide variety of social activities such as afternoon tea, group functions in meeting rooms, or learning to make your own 1920's cocktails. It boils weddings and other local events. Give it a visit just to check it out.

As Platinum Elite members of Marriott Bonvoy, we travel often and experience many hotels. The very nice Fenway is one of the most unique hotels we've been to! With a rich history as Pinellas County's first radio station in 1925 and as a hotel and jazz club for decades, the new owners have very creatively restored this hotel while keeping the spirit of the past alive. Every aspect of this hotel has significance as it reflects the themes of history and jazz, from the nightly live jazz music, the creative decor in the rooms, the detailed history displays (including the speakeasy), and the titles of the restaurants and bars (HEW Chophouse named for the original architect and Hifi rooftop bar named as a reminder of the radio station). After some confusion and frustration for us and the restaurant and bar staff due to the incorrect dating of the food and beverage tickets during check-in, we ultimately had a really nice time during our 3-night stay. The wonderful, friendly and helpful employees seemed like they really enjoyed working together to provide a nice experience for the customers. Those who stood out were the friendly breakfast servers, Sheyla at the front desk who always had a welcoming smile, and most of all Robyn, the very kind, personable, and competent Food and Beverage Manager who went above and beyond to help us have a nice time as she calmly and hospitably handled the communication issues that arose from the mistakes made at check-in. Also, the views of the water are outstanding (especially from the rooftop bar), and the location on Edgewater Drive is nice for walking across the street and along the sidewalk beside the water or taking a nice waterside drive to Clearwater Beach to the south or Honeymoon Island and Tarpon Springs to the north. We even met some local people who stayed in the hotel for a staycation and told us more about the beaches up and down the Gulf Coast. We highly recommend this hotel!

What a fun, glamorous and gorgeous hotel! The hotel property has an old Hollywood feel to it which I absolutely loved! The staff was great getting us checked in with a complimentary glass of bubbly. The rooms were very clean, and comfortable. The pool area was also very nice with plenty of lounge chairs throughout the area. There are two restaurants on the premise, a rooftop bar with great views but a limited bar-food menu, and the chophouse with a more traditional dinner menu. I highly recommend the chophouse for both dinner and breakfast. If you feel like venturing off, the hotel has bikes you can rent, with the first hour free. There are lots of local restaurants and bars nearby you can walk or ride to. Weekends here tend to be very busy at the hotel, so expect crowds at the restaurant and rooftop bar. Lastly, the sunset views here are amazing!

You let me down tonight Fenway. We arrived at 7 pm for Oysters and Jazz. The event ran from 6-9. Oysters we're GONE! The "Jazz" was 70's pop although I will hand it to the saxophonist he has real chops. So we went in to the bar to have your classic burger which we've loved in the past. It was tasty and good BUT you forgot the cheese! Entirely! I'll think about whether we'll be back. Suggestion- if you're doing something on a holiday weekend expect a crowd, staff for it, and prep for it. Running out of the one thing you advertised not good.

We spent July 3-5 at the Fenway. We drove in from Orlando really early on the 3rd and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready (we did mobile check in). Our room was at the end of the first floor hallway and was surprisingly quiet! The pool is nothing special..def geared for adults (which was fine with us!). Plenty of pool chairs and umbrellas. We were the first guests out at the pool and they were setting up for their 4th of July BBQ. Each person stopped and asked us if we needed anything. All of the staff that we encountered were AMAZING. Top notch all the way. Super friendly and courteous. I gave it 4/5 stars only because the outlets close early. Lobby bar closed at 10 and roof top bar at 11. My husband and I are night owls and wish we had an hour or so more to hang out.

Rooftop Bar Atmosphere: great view of the water. Drinks: kinda pricey. I ordered the speakeasy sipper - A whiskey cocktail. It was good. I didn't know what to expect since, The drink description on the menu don't tell you what is in the drinks. All I know is what brand whiskey they used. Good selection of music. Even though they have food menus, they don't serve food on the rooftop. We were told we would have to go downstairs to the restaurant to eat.

The 4 star is for the roof top bar!! I did NOT stay at Hotel. So my rating is basically based on what I saw of the view, the bar, and the entry way to Hotel and the grounds!! The view at the top is beautiful! Dunedin is a quaint, charming City. It's surrounded by water, nice restaurants and the Hotel is in a perfect location! Parking is in the back or you can valet. Nice set up at bar and friendly staff. If you have not been you need to check it out!

Just participated in the Spring Tea at the Fenway. Service was exceptional! Food was really disappointing. Started with a half glass of bubbly, then glass whisked away. Two types of tea...black and hibiscus. Scones were tiny, sweet pastries...not really scone like at all. Several small items...all tasty, but limited to one small item per person. No tea sandwiches at all. Sweets were Pepperidge House cookies! Really? There are local bakeries and even Publix grocery bakery around, so why bag cookies? Very disappointing for the $40 per person!

Amazing meals tonight and service! Grouper special, filet mignon and service (Julia) were beyond outstanding!

This review is really a bit of a warning. The Hotel is pretty good, restaurant not. BUT - We valet parked. When we got the car back later and after driving away we noticed the phone charger cord was gone. I drove back and went to tell the manager. The front desk clerk listened and told me to go and talk to the valet. I said no. It's the Hotel's responsibility. She looked at me with a blank face and said it's a company contracted by the hotel that does the valet parking and I should deal with them. I responded that it's important that management should know about this. It might have been something valuable. Still a blank face. No effort to get a manager that I had requested. Then she finally said she would alert the valet manager and took my name and number. That was 8 days ago........

Don't mind the bees - enjoy a Negroni and the sunset! A Dunedin favorite - great spot for a pre-dinner appertif.

Spent 3 days w/o very much sleep due to room over HVAC which was quite noisy.The bath room ceiling access panel also rattled all night. Rooms are quite small. Spouse called down for a blanket and they did not have any! For the price paid I will not want to try again anytime soon. Not exactly luxurious as described. Several other guests I dined with had the same thoughts. Response from management was less than satisfactory.

Weird weird weird. It's hard to describe the eclectic style of this old hotel. And I love eclectic. But...this is like some crazy person designed this hotel with no real concept. This hotel can't figure out what it wants to be. Service has been nominal at best. Not terrible but far from excellent. The rooms have been redone in modern. They are small for any hotel outside of Japan. And they are $500+/night. The Steakhouse dining room is designed like a cafeteria with a modern bar and open kitchen design. Weird and noisy, harsh and too bright. $39 for a Pork porterhouse that tasted like ham. Since it's the only place to eat on property it serves as pool snack bar, Breakfast, lunch, and Dinner restaurant. Oh and you need to know Breakfast ends at 9am and the first thing on the so-called brunch menu is an $85 steak for two. I'd say they need a new dining manager to serve food on the rooftop bar, change to a breakfast buffet, and a new chef to offer a better menu. We walked out of Brunch and will be eating anywhere else in town other than the hotel restaurant. Not what we wanted. We wanted to stay, relax and eat on property. The pool area is a small courtyard in back with no pool access rooms. Secluded without an Ocean view, actually no view at all. Zero beach access. I don't think there is a beach anywhere around unless you take a ferry ride and go to one. The rooftop bar is above the second floor. It's nice with a pretty good view. Very modern and a nice touch for this place. $7.50 for a Stella. Oh, and no food except a couple snacks. The excuse is "since it's above the 2nd floor it's too far to carry food". Although they do offer room service. Hmmmm The outside of the hotel isn't nearly as big as the pictures online make it look. It has been redone very nicely to the original style from roughly 100 years ago. The hotel theme inside is of Music. So all in all it's weird. Someone with class needs to come in and redesign the dining rooms on to match an upscale steakhouse and blend the styles better. For this price or less I'd expect a top rate resort with phenomenal service and amenities. This place has neither. In a couple years when the new remodel isn't a selling point you will probably be able to stay here for $100/night.

I had an absolute amazing experience here at Hifi rooftop at The Fenway! There's nothing better than being able to have a brew with such a view! Amazing music by Shaun Hooper, talented and tasteful. I enjoyed the wide selection of local beers & craft cocktails! I absolutely would have given five stars if it wasn't for Dave the bartender that seemed to be annoyed about working and got in an altercation with not only my party but other patrons around the bar. Sitting at the bar so close to him we heard him continuously mocking other patrons aloud, melodramatically slamming glass and curse his computer system. If there's only one thing they should alter about this rooftop..easy fix

The Fenway is a nice old hotel that needs to address a few issues to become a hotel I would return to or recommend. Upon check in, which was easy because of a pre check in. The hotel seemed understaffed and many of the them were brand new. We witnessed two weddings and a baby shower in a day and a half which made things a bit crowded for the rest of the guests. Our room was very small (think cruise ship small). The door to the bathroom would stick every time. And there is one elevator for the entire hotel, only 3 floors but the place is a maze of rooms going in different directions. The rooftop bar is nice and the service was very good. But we had breakfast and there was one waitress and the manager taking care of everything. They were fine, but the cook has trouble with poached eggs. The town is a typical West Coast beach town. Lots of bars and restaurants and boats and fishing. The seafood places are great and fresh fish is easily available. We are planning to return to Dunedin soon, but probably not the Fenway.

LOVE the Fenway! An adorable boutique hotel with tons of history and charm. The perfect place to watch the sunset at the rooftop bar or have a drink in the lobby. Pro tip: They are valet only - so bring cash. It's crowded around sunset but you can usually still get a spot. The drink are pricey $78 for 4 drinks. I always get the Fenway Sunrise with gin and elderflower liquor - it's pretty and tasty!

I can't say enough how incredible this place is. If you have the chance you MUST stay here!! The place is clean, big, and luxurious. Walking distance to downtown Dunedin. The front desk & the valet men were above and beyond kind & hospitable. Doesn't get any better. Will continue to come back. This was our second time staying at the Fenway. we were blown away the first time, we couldn't wait to come back. They upgraded us to a suite (for the second time!!) and we walked into our room & saw a handwritten note & champagne wishing us a happy anniversary. Amazing.

This hotel is amazing for what it is, which is a remodeled historic treasure. They spared no expense in making the rooms and common areas state of the art. The service was friendly and beyond efficient. The valet checked us in and brought up our bags...and he would not accept a tip. Live music in the lobby, two sleek bars including one with a rooftop sunset view...what more can you want. NOTE if location is important, do your homework.. Dunedin is a quaint town with good restaurants and nightlife, but it is a drive to Clearwater Beach. Overall this is a great little staycation place for quasi-locals.

So GREAT! If you are looking for out of the ordinary and amazing come here! Don't miss this we live here and stay here just to enjoy the walking distance to pubs and great food. Robin beverage manager is "all knowing". Ask her what to do and she will help you explore. Enjoy!

**This is for the rooftop bar only** WOW! The views are amazing! Not too crowded and there was a great selection of local craft beers. That's important in a city like Dunedin with so many breweries. I'd give them 5 stars if parking was easier and the beers were a bit pricy. You can walk to the brewery where they come from and get them for much less.

Sadly nobody care to service outside We came since 12.15 pm and we get check and leave around 1.45 pm Hummm.... it's take forever and ever for waiting a waitress to come out give us drink menu and water or napkins.... food was cool, not sure about bread charged for $3 with mold lol not sure want to come back again... would like to try rooftop bar tho

I liked it a lot .. but .. we had a seat by the kitchen door; which was a little bothersome. We understood, since there were 3 weddings going on. However, the food was excellent & the service impeccable. If you're ever in Dunedin, Florida give it a try .. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED !!

I found everything about our stay to be just what I was looking for. What it is NOT, is a giant, crowded, property full of families looking to splash in a pool all day. It's a boutique size (only 3 floors - yay!) with a wonderful blend of old (architecture) and a fresh, trendy design. There are creative & unique details everywhere. The spaces have a chill sensibility that resonated with me. The rooftop bar is a great space for outdoor experience - that I think we are ALL in search of during COVID - and that overlooks the bay. The staff is wonderful, the Walkscore is A+ & the cheeseburgers are DELICIOUS!!! Exceeded my expectations.

I've been in the hospitality industry for 14 years and this was one of the best hotel experiences that I've ever had. Very knowledgeable & vibrant check in experience. Amazing refurbished boutique Autograph Property with decades of history. An amazing view that leaves you planning your next trip to Dunedin before you've even checked out.

Excellent reuse and preservation of the historical building. Well-appointed rooms, clean and sanitized. The restriction are prohibitive to fully enjoying the amenities, however, it is a great location and the view is magnificent. Gotta try the rooftop bar! We had a great bar-keep, Pablo who made awesome old-fashions.

I haven't stayed here yet although I've heard the rooms are beautiful! We went to the rooftop bar and it was beautiful. Very big bar with lots of open space, seating and beautiful views. The drinks are a bit expensive but the view and sunset makes up for it.

I tend to like the "unique" properties in the Starriott chain the best, and the Fenway was no exception. It feels like St. Petersburg is a bit of a desert for decent Starriott Hotels - a lot of run down courtyards and lower end properties - not that I need a ultra-luxe hotel, but I also would love if my hotel shower was not entirely held together with mildew (like the Marriott St. Pete). So when we needed to change hotels because the Marriott was getting stupid expensive, and this was the same price as the Fairfield Inn nearby, the extra drive to this location was a no brainer. Rooms are cool, nice comfy beds, well appointed (and clean) bathrooms, etc. I would also say this is about the highest end minibar I've seen in any of my travels - splits of Macallan 12 and Charles Heidsieck? Cripes. That's kind of baller, although the prices probably could have been higher than they were, if you wanted to increase price linearly with item quality. Parking is valet only, but reasonably priced and it was fast, so no issues there. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, or the rooftop bar, any breakfast, unfortunately, can't really report there. But I had other people mentioned that the bar especially was pretty cool, especially at sundown. I think we caught this on an off week - it was significantly more expensive every other week we needed to be in the area, so maybe a fluke, but worth while. I would pay a premium for this property, although not too much of one, since on a business trip, I don't expect to spend much time here. But if it was personal travel, it would be worth a few extra bucks to stay here vs. the other Marriott options, especially given nearby Dunedin has better restaurant options than we found in a lot of the other areas we stayed.
