Hannah was the best server. Food was amazing and served quickly. Flavorful tacos with a hint of spice to add to the flavor but not hot. Classic breakfast was cooked perfectly best pancake I’ve ever had with blueberries. biscuits were flaky and delicious jams of strawberry mixed berry and peach were awesome. oh and the cold brew coffee was excellent.

Google
Service was on point. I did not get our servers name unfortunately. Very quick, friendly and professional. The food was amazing! Breakfast tacos were absolutely delicious. My wife had the Melrose bagel sandwich and she had said the same thing. The cappuccino was bold and very good. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Latte w/quad shot, perfect. Steak and eggs w/sweet potato fries, excellent flavor, and texture. Real butter, real 💯Maple syrup, and Kosher salt here. Place is beyond legit.

Super impressed with the quality and flavor at Fenwicks! It was busy but the service was fast and good. Totally worth stopping by for breakfast, brunch, or lunch!

Google
My French toast was pretty much just dry toast with a few pieces of fruit thrown on top. Very cute but it’s kinda hard to mess up French toast… waiter we had wasn’t very friendly and forgot my friend’s drink completely.

Google
I came into Fenwivks 300 berry hill Tn this morning for a cup of coffee and I had the worst experience ever. The coffee was weak so she said they didn't have dark roast coffee so she added an espresso to get it right and it's a very small cup of coffee ever. They couldn't get it hot either. This cup of coffee cost $9.88. I will never be back. I have never paid that much for a cup of coffee.

Google
What a great experience. We did have a bit of a wait to sit inside though there was an available table outside that we declined. We were happy to wait to eat in the air conditioning. The whipped goat cheese was so good. Also had the bacon and egg fried rice. Both were amazing! 🤩 The grey skies latte was very cozy. Loved the innovative menu and friendly and prompt service.

Google
We had the biscuits and jam to start. The strawberry jam was great, and the peach and apple fig were good and not as sweet. I would have liked a sharper knife to cut the biscuits because the butter knife made a mess out of things. The kimchi Reuben was delicious and I would absolutely order it again. The cheese was so stretchy and the flavor was perfect. The egg and bacon fried rice was very bland and we added a lot of salt, pepper, and sriracha to it. The kale salad (ordered with the Reuben) was good but the dressing was a bit runny. Our waiter was very nice and service was quick. Our coffees weren’t anything to call home about- the oat milk cappuccino was a little burned and the regular coffee was a little sour for some reason. Overall the atmosphere and service was great, and most of our food was good as well. We wouldn’t order the fried rice again, but would definitely return for the Reuben!

Yelp
The service was good, and their staff was very friendly. I love Reubens, so I had to try the Kimchi Rueben. I picked the sweet potato fries for the side. The Rueben and Kimchi flavors paired well together, but the Kimchi was chewy and had to be eaten on the side. Maybe the Kimchi needed to be shredded more. The sweet potato fries were very dark, and they looked burnt. I think the oil was just old because the fries were still soft and didn't have a burnt flavor. The bar was made from a bowling alley lane that used to be on the same street as the restaurant. My husband enjoyed his burger.

Yelp
I loved this burger. It was delicious. I could eat one every day! Wasn't too busy for a Saturday lunch and service was quick. I have 0 complaints.
google avatar

Amber A.

Yelp
Not too busy on a Sunday morning! The service was good and our server was nice but it felt a little rushed. I think the drive to and from the restaurant was longer than I was in the restaurant. The server was asking about checks before we finished our coffees. The food came out extremely fast. Not that these are necessarily bad things - just something we noted. The food was tasty! It's a little overpriced for the portion size for sure, but it was very flavorful. The inside was decorated like a modern diner - clean and cool!

Yelp
Nashville has become a different city in recent years, hard to distinguish from many others as you see corporate restaurant chain after chain pushing out the places make Nashville, and every other city, unique. Fenwicks is one of those that give Nashville a unique feel. They have a really good coffeeshop in house, a varied menu and it feels like an old school diner in a good way. So many good things on the menu so you won't go wrong, but figure out how to incorporate the pancakes and grits, both really good!
google avatar

Erik B.

Yelp
I usually love this place but my mom and I both got the Eggs Benedict and the poached eggs were completely over cooked. You serve eggs like this on a cooking competition and you're getting eliminated.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
The best breakfast burrito in town! Also the drip coffee is such smooth drinking. The service is typically very fast. They have a large bar to accompany solo diners. Parking is easy and free. This is my go-to diner. Highly recommend!

Yelp
My husband and I usually go to Fenwick's for weekend breakfast, so we decided to give their lunch a try. Or at least I decided to give their lunch a try since my husband ordered the breakfast burrito for his lunch. I ordered their Classic Burger (on the menu as a Cheeseburger) with the Kale Caesar salad as my side. Even though I was never asked what temperature I liked my burger, so it was a little more well done than I liked--OMG was that burger delicious. I normally can't eat an entire burger but I just could not stop eating it. I wolfed down that entire burger. FYI - I usually get the Kevin BLT for breakfast and that is great too. I love the blue cheese aioli combined with the thick slabs of bacon. Yum. Definitely stop in for the burger!

Yelp
Fenwicks is one of those places you go to when you can't decide where to go. I don't say that begrudgingly but instead with a sense of reliability. It has a little bit of something for everyone and feels just unique enough that you feel like you had an experience while there. I've run into some local celebs while there which is cool. Their pancakes are probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Only downside to this place is when it's busy service can suffer because it appears they do that "everyone helps each other" type of serving where you have someone take your drink order, another person deliver it, another person take your order, another person deliver your food, and another person ask for refills or deliver your check. It's awesome when it works out but sometimes we've asked for things and simply never gotten them because our server never reappeared our just got caught up in the shuffle. Either way, we will continue coming back.

Yelp
Tried Fenwick's for the first time and it was great! Lots of options and not bad prices.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a reasonably priced brunch spot in the Berry Hill area. It's great for a brunch date or groups. I highly recommend their breakfast burrito. Coffee options are great as they use Bongo Java coffee!

Yelp
Met a friend there for breakfast yesterday. First time visiting this establishment. Nice layout, pretty decor. Server was so-so. Never introduced himself, acted as if he was absolutely miserable. When he refilled my coffee I asked for another packet of Splenda. 10 minutes later, after the coffee was cold, and we were about to leave, I still didn't have the sweetener. My guest got up to get me some, and he followed her back to the table and delivered it. Never offered to warm up my cold coffee. I ordered a breakfast burger. It could've been outstanding, but I ordered it medium, and it came out well done. Overall average or slightly below average at best, thus my 3 star review. Could've just as easily given them 2.

Yelp
I come here almost every morning. The service is wonderful & always quick. Coffee is so good! They're always busy & I am thankful they have a speedy cafe. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Great spot to drop in for a hot breakfast. They serve lunch items as well. Located on a strip mall so you park out front, walk a few steps and go inside. This place has indoor and outdoor sidewalk dining. Also, great spaces to accommodate a group, booths or sit at the large bar and dine solo. The ambiance is nice and friendly service. Reminds me of your local friendly diner with its casual atmosphere. We had excellent service! Everything was good. Food served hot and was tasty. No complaints. The waitress even split our check by three without any fuss. I would recommend a visit and would dine there again.

Yelp
Came for breakfast and had the Eggs Benedict and the Corned Beef Hash. Both were delicious and perfect sized portions for the price. Left us full, but not grossly over-stuffed and feeling like we needed a nap afterwards. The hollandaise seemed homemade and was much better than what you get at most places. Bloody Mary was ok. They use Zing Zang which is not my fave. We also got a couple iced lattes to-go, which were good. Four stars because service was a bit lackluster. It was busy, yes. But there seemed to be ample staff, and we were seated immediately-at the bar. So it's even more astonishing to me that we basically had to beg for anyone to pay attention to us while sitting AT THE BAR. But we would still come back! Several other items on the menu sounded and looked delicious!

Yelp
Chocolate chip pancakes rock. Iced tea was great (tea snob here). Every one is super nice and service was great.

Yelp
Food--no frills, solid basic breakfast; thick cut bacon was cooked exactly how I like/expect, eggs scrambled firm, hot-crispy-seasoned potatoes and a biscuit with apple fig jam; plus a regular coffee! Service--quick and attentive; came on a Saturday at 9:30 AM and we were seated right away and food came out quickly. Ambiance--think diner meets a casual breakfast spot! Plus the prices are right! Bougie brunches have a purpose at times, but other times you just want to have a solid, non-fancy meal with your people.

Yelp
This has quickly become one of my favorite brunch spots, specifically the breakfast tacos substitute veggie sausage. Clean environment, fast and friendly service. What's not to like?

Rob N.

Yelp
First time customer. Food was ok. Service good. Portions are very small and over priced. I do not see a return visit!
google avatar

Tyler K.

Yelp
From the lattes to the breakfast fried rice, everything here is delicious. I particularly recommend the goat cheese appetizer, which is the only dish to date that gave me as much cheese as I actually wanted! If you need a place to grab breakfast on a weekend without the massive waits, come to Fenwicks... and don't tell the tourists.

M K.

Yelp
Foods not bad. Consistent. Ok menu. But service is usually pretty good. Not my regular place but I never regret coming here

Lindsey P.

Yelp
Comically bad. 3rd time trying this place and every time the service is laughable. They act annoyed that you are there. We both ordered basic breakfast, sausage was undercook, eggs were noticeably under cook and the eggs whites were runny and slimy. Server never checked on us so we couldn't say anything about the raw food. They didn't ask about why we barely ate any food. Dropped off our check, ran, and didn't come back for 15 minutes.

Yelp
Used to be a bowling alley, like most of these local businesses it's a renovated building with a lot of character. My gf and i got a quick breakfast to go: - biscuits & jam. Biscuits were buttery tasting with a soft crunch. The apricot jam was amazing! - breakfast tacos. She ate them all before i could taste test so it's safe to say they were good also. - avocado toast. Interesting take on it with cashews and a pumpernickel bread. It was good also Coffee!! We got a Teddy Grahams iced and Outlaw hot (both with oat milk.. we came from California). Both amazing! 5/5 for the coffee!! Teddy grahams tasted like those delicious crackers we ate as kids. Outlaw had bourbon barrel bitters and brown sugar that imparted a perfect profile for a coffee. Complemented the flavors well.

Anna M.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot .The food is always on point and the ingredients are always super fresh .
google avatar

Ryan H.

Yelp
Delicious food, service is always very professional and timely, and the bar is made of old bowling alley floors. Hands down my favorite place to eat breakfast in Nashville! GO HERE!

Yelp
If you're in Nashville and looking for mediocre coffee, terrible service and food poisoning, boy have I got the spot for you. Come in and sit at the bar. No one will notice you for at least 10 minutes. You can sit and think about how hungry you are. Eventually they might take your drink order. Black coffee will come quick, but unfortunately nothing else will. You' have that coffee finished long before they take your food order. But lucky for you, once they do take your order, the kitchen doesnt own a meat thermometer nor do they bother heating your food up or seasoning it so you get not only the taste of bland cold eggs and chorizo, but also the joys of food poisoning from eating uncooked poultry products. Your food will come out in the blink of an eye...though it won't come with silverware, condiments, or a napkin. Nor will anyone check on you. It's ok though...after 10 mins of being ignored, you'll be able to just walk behind the bar and get everything you need to enjoy the 2 bites of food you're going to east. Seriously though. This was such a bad experience it was laughable. I pushed my plate of food away after 2 bites and it sat on the bar for 20+ mins before anyone even though to check on me. This is not an issue of understaffing. This is work ethic, service and attention to detail. Plain and simple. Do better.

Christian S.

Yelp
Honestly one of the most underrated spots for breakfast in nashville! Great food for a decent price compared to other breakfast spots that aren't even as goods

Ronda T.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of this place and have eaten there several times but usually go with the eggs benedict, goat cheese with fig jam, and/or salad. On those items the rating is a 5 star. However, I decided to go with the fish tacos for a change as I sample fish tacos when available and have found there is a wide range of flavors, styles, and presentation which are always interesting to experience. Sadly, these were the worst fish tacos I have eaten. The fish was like leather and the corn tortillas were like eating rubber. I would have told the staff directly my opinion however no one ever asked "how was the food?". I will definitely eat there in the future but I will stay away from the fish tacos.

Reid S.

Yelp
Food and service was excellent!! We live around the corner and we're surprised that we haven't been here before. The corned beef hash and Melrose bagel were delicious. Good coffee too. Vibe inside is nice - casual but still well designed. Food is a good price. Portions are good!

Wyatt J.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing. Go here. The atmosphere was awesome as soon as me and my group walked in. It was very retro and modern at the same time which was super cool. The service was fantastic! All the employees were super nice and the food tasted awesome. I would like to personally thank my server today (I forgot her name, sorry) for the excellent service. Great work !!!

Duke N.

Yelp
Food was good. The avocado toast was excellent. I meant to add an egg after receiving it, but that's where the tragedy of the restaurant's service kicked in. The place was busy and loud. I can understand being short-staffed but the service quality wasn't good either. I had three sentences spoke to me: "would you like a drink? Would you like food? Ready for the check?" I didn't get my egg because the server didn't stop by to check on me once. Certainly no pleasantries. I might stop by for coffee again sometime, but definitely not for the service.

Yelp
My husband and I go here every single weekend. We are locals! Food and service are consistent and reliable, menu has options for everyone, and there's usually very little wait / good seating at the bar. Parking can be difficult, and if you come at peak time, there might be a wait. I would recommend arriving before 9am or after 12pm! Love the Basic, pancakes, and all of the bagel options. The drip coffee isn't anything to write home about, but it's better than your typical diner coffee. They do have a full espresso bar, so the options are endless (and great!). The staff is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed, open, and it doesn't feel too packed or crowded, even when it's full. It's 10x better than the Sutler. 5/5!!!

Zachary D.

Yelp
The breakfast Tacos and Monte Cristo were absolutely amazing. We also had the mimosas and they were awesome as well. 10/10 would recommend
google avatar

Kim A.

Yelp
Fresh food, fast, and informative server. The creamy baked goat cheese with an apple jam starter and the jalapeño grits were our two favorites. We also got the Rueben and the kimchi was a surprisingly good addition to the sandwich. Note they do not have hard liquor so no bloody Mary's for brunch but they do offer a couple mimosas and assorted beer. Over all great place for a quick, unique brunch!
google avatar

Yelp
This strip is essentially brunch central, so there's a bit of competition and somewhat of a reputation. I think students jump to this area for their day drinking habits. The Food: The options are different and plentiful. This is refreshing after reading sever 4 or 5 item brunch menues, witch basically just overpriced breakfast. My party had the brunch fried rice, and the French Toast Monte Cristo. Both were tasty. I wish my Monte Cristo was a little more fried and a little more french. But I get it. This place has the black coffee, health goth vibe, without promising healthy food. The service: While on the vibe, we've gotta have a discussion about the service... For two reason, selection and style. I know black is the uniform... but is white guy w/glasses and tattoos? My comment is that every server should not look the same while everyone in the kitchen ALSO looks the same.. Bring some color to front of house... It brings comfort to customers who arent also white. Comfort is my second comment. Sure maybe brunch is when everyone with those silly clear frame glasses choses to work... You need to say hello, howdy, hey, or wutup before bringing water and setting our table while staring blankly. It wasnt busy... Its just "we're cool and dont greet... or say anything" I like the IDGAF attitude, but say "hey hows it going." Overall: Good food, meh service, great cold brew.

Yelp
It looked like a really cool place. We arrived just before 10AM, so we didn't have to wait too long to be seated...only about 10 or 15 minutes. We ordered beignets to start. After a considerable amount of time, maybe 20 minutes or more, they arrived. Beignets originate from New Orleans. Many people associate blackened food with Cajun food, but beignets are supposed to be golden brown not near black. We each but into one. The initial taste was like biting into burnt toast. They were definitely scorched on the outside. The inside was super tough and chewy. It was mechanically difficult to take a bite. When the waitress came by, I told her they were burnt. She responded matter-of-factly, "I can bring you some more, but they're gonna look the same or I can just take them off your ticket." We ordered our entrees which took a ridiculously long amount of time to receive, about 30 minutes. For our entree, my wife ordered the kimchi Ruben, which was absolutely delicious. I ordered the falafel plate, another fried item... They were burnt. The waitress, obviously irritated, made a terse comment. She took it off the check though. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Yelp
This place was adorable with a great brunch menu! I went towards the end of closing time, about an hour before closing and grabbed the egg in hole toast with the Purple Rain Tea. The egg in hole was small but it was the perfect amount without feeling over stuffed. The cheese was really good and the tomatoes really topped it off. As for the tea, it was some of the best fresh tea I've ever had - I can't stop talking about it! It's a simple diner so if you're expecting more but if you're a laid back person just grabbing a bite to eat, this is the place for you. I will definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Frank H.

Yelp
Friendly, likable staff. Pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon (wait for 2 @ 12:45pm = 25 min, the Sutler's wait was 30-45 min). We got breakfast food and fish tacos and weren't disappointed. Eggs were decent, bacon = great, biscuit = rather good, and sweet potato wedges = . Overall, the Fenwick's Basic (with sweet potato wedges) score a grade of A. Catfish grilled fish tacos were very good. A little kick, but not too spicy. Very good food, good service, and atmosphere. Will come back! Note: the plaza's very difficult to park in (I couldn't find a spot), so I parked across the street... which is hopefully okay.

Emily W.

Yelp
A hidden gem! Came here 3 mornings in a row on my trip. Staff is super nice and food is delicious and affordable. Wish we had one of these back home.

Yelp
I came for lunch with coworkers on a Tuesday. They weren't packed, yet weren't empty either. This would be the ideal "eat alone nonchalantly at the bar" kind of place to quickly get in and out of. The food was great, yet not overwhelming excellent. I had to add salt to the fried rice. I would definitely go again for breakfast, as they serve the breakfast menu all day.
google avatar

Jinah S.

Yelp
Ridiculously long wait for Sunday brunch (but relatively shorter when compared to the surrounding restaurants). Luckily, there's a coffee bar where you can order drinks while you wait. IMO, this place is very average from the service to the food itself. We had a larger party (7) so I can understand the time it took to be seated. However, it also took forever to be greeted by a waitress and served. We made a concerted effort to be ready to order by the time our server walked over to avoid waiting some more. I will say she was accommodating with the special requests as a few in our party had dietary restrictions. I was pretty disappointed by the Eggs Benedict as the yolks were boiled through meaning they were just flattened hard boiled eggs resting on top of an English muffin. The same goes for the "poached egg" on the corn beef hash (although the rest of it was tasty). I tried a bite of the Kimchi Reuben which was better than the rest of the entrees and I love the Korean fusion aspect. We assumed the risk of going to brunch without reservations on a Sunday and this place was our 3rd choice. I believe 3rd choice next time would be to dine at home to save on wait time and money.
google avatar

Katie U.

Yelp
Giving it 3 stars for being "meh". Lunch there was fine but didn't leave me wanting to go back. The restaurant is clean and bright, but the layout didn't seem particularly inviting. Prices were average for Nashville. And the food was OK. We went last week and I can't even remember what I got, though remember I didn't love or hate it.
google avatar

Sheena T.

Yelp
Amazing coffee with its own bar? Yes. Delicious brunch food? I'm all in! Fenwick's delivered when I tried them for the first time a few weeks ago. Some ladies and I stopped in for brunch on Sunday and waited about 15-20 minutes for a table and hung out in the coffee bar area. My latte was perfect and the perfect addition to my rainy Sunday. My friend brilliantly ordered the beignets for the table; regular, dulche de leche, regular, and nutella. They were fantastic and perfect to snack on while we drank our coffee. For entrees, I had the breakfast tacos and they were good! I liked the filling and had to add some hot sauce to it for extra zing. The food came out surprisingly fast, especially for brunch. I like the interior and that it's diner style! I am really excited to come back again and sample more of their menu, especially for brunch!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food. great service, parking can be a problem on the weekends so we patronize during the week because this place is too good to ignore.
google avatar

Yelp
They serve breakfast all day, which is AMAZING. Their French toast with mixed berries is delicious as well the egg bacon avocado bagel sandwich. Their service was really good and a cute spot to eat at.

Yelp
Such a great brunch or meeting spot. They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch food. Their BLT and tomato soup is wonderful. My friend got their grilled cheese and said it was the best one in town.

Yelp
We tried to hit up a bunch of popular restaurants on our recent trip to Nashville but the wait times were crazy. Our Lyft driver recommended Fenwick's to us after we bypassed another place with a line out the door. After our experience I don't really understand how we didn't see this place on any of the "Nashville guides" and why they didn't have a line out the door. Well kept secret, I guess. First off, service was fantastic and the coffee was great. Like, really really good. We started with the beignets as an appetizer because calories don't count on vacation and they did not disappoint. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup and was in love. I order grilled cheese every chance I get and this was one of the best, if not the best, I've ever had. The tomato soup was perfectly creamy and great for dipping the sandwich in, too. My boyfriend had the chicken salad sandwich and also raved about it. Overall I think we were in and out in a little under an hour. No wait (which I don't really understand because this place was so great), very decent prices, and really genuinely good food and coffee. If I ever come back to Nashville I'm absolutely making a stop here!

Yelp
Food is decent, but parents BEWARE. Not child or baby friendly. Two times they would not allow me to bring a stroller (with a NEWBORN) and expected me to hold her my entire meal. The food isn't worth the headache. Go a few doors down to The Sutler. Not only did they let us in 10 mins early, but were overly accommodating.

Tori P.

Yelp
Easy and convenient, friendly, quick, good food, good coffee! I've converted everyone in our office to Fenwick's and we order it weekly Togo.

Rayne S.

Yelp
Great coffee and lattes! Love their breakfast fried rice too. Can get really crowded and service is hit or miss! Have to have your whole party there before you are seated which is frustrating
