The market is a good one and the lángos they make on the top floor is top too. But avoid the second big greengrocer on the left side of the 3rd floor (when entering from Fény street). It’s the company called “Monyoka 2014 Kft”. Last week the guy got upset because I asked for strawberries from the box, not the ones that they prepared and kept in the front rows. And today the lady gave me 1kg of apricots which I let her to pick herself, and I found only moldy and rotten fruits in my bag when I got home. “Sweet Hungarian apricot”, but not a single piece was consumable.

This is an awesome local market where you can find fresh fruits and veggies, wine, meats, and other items. I visited here for the epic Langos place on the top floor! Come by and check it out if you’re in the area!

One of the liveliest and most colorful spots on the Buda side of Budapest, where you can find a wide variety of products, especially fresh fruits and vegetables. Although foreigners visit, it is not a touristy place; it is still a local market. It has a wonderful atmosphere, making shopping and spending time enjoyable. Adjacent to it is an old shopping center, and next to it is a more modern shopping center called Mammut. These three buildings are interconnected, and it's possible to move between the three of them.

A compact but colourful little market offering mostly (but not only) unique artistic wares, like earrings, stickers, paintings and various accessories. But you can also find vendors offering plants and clothing. An on-hand DJ provides chill music for a relaxed atmosphere while you browse through the goods. And you get hungry or thirsty, there's a bakery and a café to help you deal with that.

I have been attending this market over 40 years!!! True that it has changed a lot… but still this is the place to find the most fresh local ingredients! You can also find extravagant colors like yellow beetroots purple carrots and all these funny veggies. You can surprise ur guests with a plate made if these😉

The most expensive market in Budapest, but there are some shops which sell incredible quality of meat and fish. So if you know your way around, it's a great place.

This place was great and I definitely prefer it to the Great Market Hall. The latter is filled with tourists and this is all locals. It's definitely not grand but the nectarines we bought were from the guy's garden from whom we bought them. There wasn't a normal vegetable we couldn't find.
