Fer Hotel

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The design is incredibly modern, stylish, and beautifully done — everything feels elegant yet very comfortable and convenient at the same time. The location is simply superb. Being right in the heart of the Old Town made exploring Istanbul so easy. We were within walking distance of major attractions, restaurants, and everything you could possibly need. The service was truly outstanding. Every staff member was professional, attentive, and welcoming. A special thank you to Artan, who made our experience even more memorable. He was exceptionally friendly, always helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable. Room service was brilliant — fast, efficient, and high quality. This was our first visit to Istanbul, and after experiencing this hotel, we honestly wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Overall, the entire hotel exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely come back again!

Fer hotel was absolutely delightful, I can’t thank the staff enough for their hospitality & professionalism during our stay. Staff were always friendly, smiling & waving making me & my wife feel like valued customers. The hotel was clean, modern & welcoming. The rooms were spacious & so elegant from the lights to the amazing bed which was super dreamy. The hotel smelled lovely inside with the decor being really captivating. Would highly recommend this establishment & like the thank all the staff for the hospitality & professional service it truly made our stay in Istanbul memorable.

Fer hotel is a small luxury hotel located in Sultanameht, central Istanbul. The Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Tokapi palace, Basilica cisterns are all within 15 minutes walk. The T1 tram line is within 10 minutes walk away. Not far. They are a previous winner of a Best Luxury Hotel in Turkey for 2018 by the International Travel Awards, and also winning the "Best Luxury Boutique Hotel" category in 2021.||Pro: The service at this hotel is absolutely amazing! They go way above and beyond any normal 5 or 6 star award. On my last day on my holiday, I got stuck in a 20 minute downpour at the Tokapi palace. My only pair of shoes (sneakers and, shoe inner soles) and only pair of trousers got completely soaked. 100% water. Yet I had only 60 minutes to my check out time and had to depart to the airport that evening. I came to the hotel reception at Fer Hotel and explained my predicament. ||At this point, I really must give the highest praise Miss Selinay, Mr Ibrahim and the un-named lady from Fer Hotel housekeeping. By an absolute miracle, they somehow took my 100% drenched trousers, my drenched trainers/sneakers, and inner liner of my only pair of shoes. Somehow either tumble dried and/or ironed them. And somehow got my clothes 100% dry within 60 minutes. This allowed me to check out of the hotel, get to the airport and ultimately fly home! Absolutely amazing! The hotel even managed to “adjust” my late check out time on multiple occasions to buy me more time to get my trousers and shoes dry enough to check out. Otherwise I would have had to check out and go to the airport in my underpants, socks and a pair of white hotel slippers which would have been shocking and scandalous to say the least! Thus I’m enternally grateful to Fer Hotel that they came through for me when I was in trouble. Otherwise, I would have had to flown on an international flight today in white hotel slippers and under pants as I would have no dry trousers to fly in! Thank you Fer Hotel for coming through for me!||Cons: Fer hotel is a bit small. They lack a swimming pool, but they do have a gym that is open 24 hours a day. But that’s the only con really! Wonderful scrambled eggs at the morning breakfast buffet. And they can do any omelette to request in the morning. One small observation is that it seems they suggest to avoid drinking the local tap water. Thus all hotel guests are given 2 bottles of mineral water a day free. Am guessing this is a city wide recommendation, to avoid drinking the tap water. ||In summary, there are the usual good reasons about why you should stay at Fer Hotel. Namely it’s an award winning luxury hotel, in a central location, and near all the major tourist attractions in Istanbul. But sometimes, they do something that is absolutely amazing. And I really have to hand it especially to Miss Selinay and Mr Ibrahim. She and her team really came through for me when I had a really wet and damp laundry emergency within the last few hours of my trip to Turkey. And it’s a sign of the hotel’s professionalism, care, attention to detail and service that really shows how they shine! Well done Fer Hotel! To conclude, if you want to stay somewhere where the staff care. And you want proof, I have it. Go to Fer Hotel. You won’t find better service in the city. From people who really care about you. Well done Fer Hotel! I will definitely stay with your hotel again when I am next in the city. The staff were wonderful and very welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, they’re not very spacious though, but the great shower pressure and excellent service more than make up for it. Most historical sites are about a 9-minute walk away. The location is convenient. Although I believe Hafez Mustafa is slightly overrated, you can probably find better food elsewhere but incase you want to instagram your existance here, it'll be easy to do. There are some lovely small cafés and bakeries nearby. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay.

Honestly we loved it! I stayed with 2 of my friends and they accommodated so many of our requests. The staff were helpful on how to get to places and guided us without us even asking. The rooms were clean, the walk to the metro was quick. For first-timers in Istanbul, I think we chose really well and were in safe hands. Special thanks to Ertan and Ibrahim 🙏🏻

We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to host my sister’s wedding. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional. The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive—there truly wasn’t a single moment where we had the chance to complain. Planning a wedding from overseas can be stressful, but they made the entire preparation and coordination process feel effortless and completely seamless. Every request was handled with care and professionalism, even last-minute needs, and the team was always ready to help with a smile. Their dedication and attention to detail made the wedding experience unforgettable for our entire family. We couldn’t have had a better experience and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone planning a wedding or special event in Istanbul.

From the very first moment we walked towards Fer hotel on the day we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome by their GM Ibrahim outside of the hotel entrance, he offers to help us with our luggages and walked us to the check-in counter personally, this gesture left me a very deep impression, a service which you can only experience at a luxury five stars hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights and we will always be greeted politely by all the staffs. I’m very pleased with the hospitality at this hotel, the attention to details from Ibrahim was incredible which makes our stay feel like home. The design of the hotel is beautiful, room was spotless and clean. Comfortable bed, with all the amenities provided. They even offer pillows menu option for guests if you need. The hotel is located within walking distance to all major attractions and train station, on a quiet street away from busy traffic noise and it’s safe to walk around at night. Overall I’m very happy with my stay and will be back if I come Istanbul again. Highly recommended!

Fer hotel is conveniently situated and overall the hotel is comfortable with a good (not excellent) Turkish breakfast. Ibrahim who helps with your bags and the cleaning room lady Gülbahar who was the sweetest person and so attentive. Both were excellent and made up for the rest of the staff. There are some things Fer hotel fell short. To start, the room is VERY small, there are these flashing lights above the bed for the sensor if you turn the lights off which impacts the quality of your sleep. Regarding the staff, I needed to go to the pharmacy which was a block away and it was raining. No umbrella or rain coats available to check out or borrow. Also, there was conflicting airport transfer info by the front desk staff and they just lacked warmth and a friendly attitude. The breakfast staff is completely disengaged, no hellos or good morning. After spending a night at another hotel in Istanbul, I can say it was night and day. Overall, Fer hotel was far from a 5 star boutique experience.

COMFORTS OF HOME! Came to Istanbul for business. After meetings concluded and staying in the business district at one of the big name brand hotels, we decided to extend our trip for pleasure in the old city. So glad that we chose to move to FER HOTEL! It was so welcoming and personable. Great location, clean and modern rooms. A fabulous breakfast every morning was such a wonderful way to start the day. Every one the of staff treated us with such warmth and kindness. They truly cared about our comfort and catered to our every request. Thank you Fer Hotel!

A GEM in the middle of the city! Spent the second half of our honeymoon in Turkey and we're so glad we picked FER hotel! The staff was hospitable, welcoming and professional! Valet parking - complimentary fruit platter - iron board as requested- rooftop breakfast. Ever interaction was amazing! The breakfast was delicious. The layout of the hotel is modern and everything is technologically up to date! You walk out of this gorgeous modern hotel to the city's ancient roads! Walking distance to the bazaars, museums, and the city centers. We used our car only a couple of times to explore further restaurants. The staff recommended a lot of activities for us as well as restaurants and shopping destinations. We felt cared for and there was always someone available when needed. I also received a happy birthday email four months after our stay! Their main focus is their customers! Wishing to go back to Istanbul and staying with the FER hotel family

Amazing hotel with excellent customer service. The breakfast is there spectacular, so fresh! is It's in a great spot close to everything like the grand basar, aysophia, and the blue mosque. Vacation well spent couldn't have asked for a better hotel!

I've been trying to take the time to thank the staff from this wonderful hotel, this is by far one of the best hotels in this country. At the beginning I was pretty scared since the price was unbelievable affordable compared to other hotels from the area; nonetheless, I had such an unforgettable time in this place. The design is very contemporary and clean, every morning the staff used to bring us fruit to our room, it is not a huge hotel, so everyone knows you and they are very friendly.

I'm absolutely furious with this hotel, I got my parents one of the best rooms and apparently they gave them a dungeon with no service. I will take legal action for this one.
