Ferangeli Guitar Handcrafter

My brother recommended them to me and I can highly recommend them, too. We visited them and bought an acoustic guitar the same day. The man (one of the owners, I presume) welcomed us and was very patient and adept. We even got a small tour of their workshop. They’ve been doing instruments and woodcrafts for generations. Important note is that I brought my guitar home to France and the guitar is not breaking or tearing apart with the temperature and humidity difference. I’m so happy with my purchase and I’m looking forward to having a custom-made guitar, soon.

I ordered a custom-made guitar from Ferangeli almost three years ago and payed half the amount asked. At first, communication was fine and I was hopeful about the project. However, communication quickly got significantly worse and I didn't receive updates despite numerous e-mails I sent months apart. I'm very patient but I ordered this guitar to actually play it one day. In January 2025 I received photographs of the almost finished guitar (after once again asking for updates for three months) with a note, that the pickup and black coloured machine heads I chose for my guitar had been unavailable for months now. I responded that they could choose another colour for the machine heads and asked, if they had another solution for the pickups. Since then, I have been ignored once again despite numerous attempts of reaching out on different channels. It’s extremely frustrating to be left completely in the dark after such a long time and such a significant investment. I genuinely hoped to support a small builder, but at this point, I can’t recommend Ferangeli Guitars to anyone. I'm thinking about initiating legal steps to take my money back.

Beautiful handcrafted solid wood guitars. Made by a lovely family. I've had it 2 or 3 weeks and I absolutely love it! I got a travel guitar with mango top and acacia back and sides. Philippine ebony fingerboard, bridge and headstock. It sounds fantastic and feels divine to play. It has a full sound. It is not shortchanged by its size. The hard case and guitar are lightweight, and I've checked it on a couple of flights with no problems.

Awesome guitar shop that sells mostly customs. They don’t have much on display but come here if u want a special guitar made. I was able to customize my inlay and collect within 2 days.

I had this beautiful guitar built for me while I was in the Philippines and sent to me back in the states. The craftsmanship is outstanding and the guitar plays even better. The guitar is a total joy to play and sounds great. I heard really good things about them, so I decided to have them custom build me this guitar, and they exceeded my expectations. The guitar took a little longer than was initially quoted to me, but I would rather it be done right, than for it to be rushed. If you want a beautiful high end guitar, with beautiful Filipino woods then this is your place!

Ferangeli built a custom Irish Bouzouki for me. I believe that this is the first such instrument they have made, which makes the outcome extra impressive. I've had a chance to play it over the past two days, and I am very happy with everything. The sound is warm and sweet, and the craftsmanship is superb. The string action is low, making it easy to play, and the intonation is spot on. It's a beauty. This shop is really easy to work with. For example, I supplied the headstock design and requested coco wood for the headstock veneer and they incorporated my ideas, no problem. For a maganda instrument that is made with great attention to detail, that plays like a dream and that sounds fantastic, I wholeheartedly endorse Ferangeli Guitar.

Their guitars are lovely. They are producing quality guitars. The owner, Mr. Fernando is very hospitable and friendly. They export guitars aroubd the world and their materials being used are being imported from another country so expect that their products have the best quality. They also sell ukeleles, sungka boards, paddles for bangka, and other souvenir items.
