Best pizzas we had in Florence so far, better than some restaurants with higher grades and full of tourists. Here you can taste the real thing and the passion that goes into cooking. Lots of choice, fresh ingredients and great service. 🍕👌🏼

And there’s no shortage of options — on every corner, there’s a restaurant offering these traditional dishes. But it's always a real pleasure to find a place that not only uses high-quality ingredients and serves delicious food, but also offers something extra. Something you can't find just anywhere. And this restaurant is exactly that kind of place. What they serve here, you won’t find in most other restaurants. The pizza recipes are original and creative, the dough is exceptionally good, and the toppings are unique and well thought out. I highly recommend trying the pizza here — and you’ll understand what true pizza-making artistry tastes like.

The best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Shocked this place does not have more reviews. This was recommended to me by an Italian friend of mine for having the best pizza in Italy so I came in with high expectations and it did not disappoint. You can order the pizza in two styles round or rectangle. We ordered a traditional round margherita, and then two rectangles of gatta al lardo and carbonara. Each pizza on its own was incredible. The gatta al lardo was our favorite but I don’t think you could go wrong with any pizza here. The ingredients here seem to be very high quality. The dough is something extra special. We had a little leftover and it still tasted great the next day. The only sad part about eating here is that most other pizzas will become a disappointment and I eat a lot of pizza . 10/10 recommend. I will definitely be back!

Amazing pizza!! It was pretty quiet here for dinner, we sat outside and ordered pizza and drinks - service and food were great! If you’re in the area be sure to check it out, won’t disappoint!!

Best pizzas we ever had. We ordered Amatriciana and Napoli d'Oro con Mozzarella, both of them were delicious. Really recommend to visit this place.

Great pizza but we were the only table in the restaurant at 8pm on a Saturday and were told we only had the table for 1.5 hours. I think there may be more than one room to the restaurant but we were the only people in our area, we made a reservation and were told multiple times we only had the table for an hour and a half, this wasn't an issue but it just lacked atmosphere it's a shame because the pizza was delicious.

This place has the best pizza dough I've ever had, with such a balanced crunchy texture that it's a real pleasure to eat.

Excellent pizza. In Florence for a month and this is my third time. Ingredients are fresh and delicious and the crust is flavorful and filling without being heavy.

This deserves more than 6 reviews, so here is a well deserved 5 stars from a self proclaimed pizza connoisseur. Incredibly fresh, fast, and the menu options are truly unique! My partner and I went with the pumpkin cream pizza and were pleasantly surprised. You will not find flavors like this anywhere else and we were very lucky to have stumbled upon this true gem. The staff were SO sweet and did not push us out even as they were getting ready to close. Really fun options for that person who is convinced they've tried it all! Just go already! Get that pizza in your belly.

In Los Angeles, we now have a fair selection of artisan pizza. That being said, Fermento1889 was the best we've ever had. The dough was soft and crunchy, and the flavors were delicious. We will always remember our delicious dinner!

Very good pie, thin and tasty with great outer crust. Fair priced and lively neighborhood at night. Short walk over the bridge from the hotel area. Put it on your list

I ordered a calzone which was largely a liquid mess, worst Calzone I or my wife had ever seen. Only the crust was edible and the staff avoided our table after noticing the liquid mess on my platter.

Had high hopes after some of the reviews, but wound up quite disappointed. Caprese pizza showed up as a caprese salad (pointing at it in the menu didn't help, I guess?), then the actual pizza showed up with no pomodoro. Really? How hard is this? Just put the salad you brought us on a crust. Speaking of which, the pizza crust was totally charcoal in the middle - don't get me wrong, I like a little char on the pizza, but we're talking total carbonio. Cheeseburger (don't judge, I had a hankering) should have been called a ketchup burger - total murder scene. No one needs ketchup on both sides of the burger - and no ketchup or mayonnaise for the fries. Sat inside hoping service would be a little better and the harried staff tried, but only so much you can do if the kitchen has no idea wtf they're doing. Avoid

One of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life! They have a brick oven, and we could see the chef making our pizzas. They have 2 different types of pizza base, one is Napoli style, which is round and chewy, and the other style (oval shape) seemed unique to the region around Florence. We tried the both types, daily special on Napoli base and Margherita with the other base. The both were very good in their own way. Napoli one was so chewy and soft, and the other was crunchy. The toppings were so fresh. I highly recommend this place if you are in Florence. It may be wise to make reservation especially for dinner time. Although we two could squeeze in when we visited around 7.30pm, but the other tables were full with reservations.

Fresh out of the brick oven! The crust is so soft and chewy and the pizza is large enough to fill you up.

Really delicious wood fired pizza and not too expensive. Really quick service. The margarita pizza with the soft crust was our personal favorite :)
