Fern Forest Cafe is a charming hidden gem located in a quieter part of town. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for escaping the crowds. The food is absolutely delicious—beautifully presented and full of flavor. A lovely spot to enjoy a slow meal or coffee surrounded by nature.

The café is spacious and beautifully designed, with a pleasant green garden area and indoor seating as well. The tiramisu was delicious, though a bit too creamy for my taste. The latte was okay. Service was fast and friendly with smiling staff. They offer a variety of desserts. The restroom was relatively clean despite the large crowd. We visited on a Sunday, and the place was packed with tourists. Conveniently located in the Old town.

Saw it in Instagram photos expecting an amazing place. I thought it was cute but a little run down. Desserts were good but lot of selection missing. Some waitresses cou have been nicer when directing to the tables. Outside seating was okay but definitely could have nice tables and seating and lighting. The fish feeding is a nice touch for people to participate in. Prices are little expensive but it is for tourists.

During a recent walk around Chiang Mai, I came across the Instagram-famous Fern Forest Cafe. Despite a rainy afternoon, the outdoor seating area gave off a wonderfully secluded vibe that I imagine would be perfect for enjoying coffee in peace on a sunny day. I ordered the Thai-style fried noodles with chicken and a hot Thai milk tea, both of which were good. However, the prices were a bit high, which isn't surprising given the cafe's popularity with expats and tourists. If you are on a budget, I found more affordable options elsewhere in the city. The service was standard, nothing particularly noteworthy. Overall, I'd give Fern Forest Cafe 3.5 out of 5 stars for its pleasant atmosphere and decent food and drinks.

Wonderful eaterie tucked away from the searing hot main road, with great coverage under frees, ferns and umbrellas to keep you shaded and comfortably sat outside n the landscaped garden. The classic ambience from the saxophonist and guitarist really sets a relaxed tone and the bubbling waterall in the corner near the koi pond adds a melodic background hum that compliments the great service. The food and drinks are plentiful and varied, with the massaman curry particularly delightful with a literal coconut cracked freshly open to enjoy! A must go when in the old town of Chiang Mai, well certainly be back!
