So we started at Bear Lake, to Lake Helena, to Odessa Lake, to Fern Lake, to Fern Falls. It was 10.45 miles with an elevation gain of 1534. Very beautiful hike. We saw turkeys, picas, and a duck. Great hike.

Haven't seen this lake post fire. Sad because it was gorgeous.

Amazing hike, and camping

Before the East Troublesome fire, we enjoyed many summer days camping and fishing. Unique rock formations, a couple of nice waterfalls help offset the heavy hiking traffic. Now even the endangered Boreal Toads at Spruce lake likely won't survive. So sad.
