Such a beautiful and peaceful place. There’s a stair heading down to the pool/gorge, so it’s an easy walk down. When coming down you’ll see one place to swim and then continue right and you’ll get to another pool. Was quite busy when we were there around 10 am, but very refreshing in between all off the red dust.
We stayed at the campground nearby, so it was a short drive there.

We were there 10 years ago, and there was no one there; we had it all to ourselves. The only way to get there and earn a dip in the pool was to hike through the gorge. Unfortunately, nowadays anyone can walk there by climbing a few stairs, so it's much more crowded and busy now. It's still quite beautiful, though.

Our favourite Gorge and pool.
Moderately easy to access by stairs and you can stop and sit on the way out. Easy walk to the pool from the waterfall.

Great spot with accessible parking for both cars and caravans. About 300 sturdy metal stairs and some easy off-road terrain take you down to the pool. There’s a large platform for getting in and out of the water, which makes swimming easy. The highlight is definitely swimming over to the waterfall. Unforgettable experience!! We did the walk with kids aged 12, 10 and 3, and they all managed it fine.

13 hours drive from Perth, and we ticked this place off the bucket list. It did not disappoint. What a gem. You will need at least 4-5 days to take in what Karrijini has to offer. Fern pool was by far our favourite place. We found some aboriginal rock art in an undisclosed location on the drive up there.

What a beautiful oasis in the desert.. imagine discovering this all of those years ago for the first time, this space holds such significant importance and rich indigenous history. Extremely grateful we could visit this place and we lucky enough to camp just a short walk from here.

We only observed from the top but a solid set of stairs to climb down to the bottom if you have the time.
