Fernando’s Hotel truly sits at the heart of Sorsogon, and my recent stay felt like a celebration of comfort and care. The rooms were spacious, and we were lucky enough to get the last room available, overlooking the sparkling swimming pool. The pool itself was clean, inviting, and perfect for a refreshing dip—such a highlight of the property. | Dining at Cecilia’s was another blissful experience. Every dish we tried was absolutely delish, but what stood out most for me was their Matcha Tea. I’ve tried matcha in many places across Sorsogon, but Cecilia’s version was by far the best—rich, earthy, and full of flavour, made from finely ground green tea leaves. Truly a must-try! || Prices here are reasonably inexpensive, and you genuinely get value for your money. What’s even better is that Fernando’s Hotel also offers budget rooms, so whether you’re looking for comfort or affordability, there’s a space for everyone. ||What made the stay extra special was the staff. Helpful, friendly, and genuinely attentive, they made us feel valued every step of the way. There’s a blissful energy in Fernando’s Hotel—you can sense how much they care about their guests, and that makes all the difference. ||Overall, Fernando’s Hotel is more than just a place to stay—it’s a joyful experience of hospitality, comfort, and flavour right in the heart of Sorsogon.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming 3-star hotel and was genuinely impressed by the quality of both the accommodations and the service. For only ₱3,500, we booked a twin room that exceeded our expectations in terms of size, comfort, and amenities. The room was spacious and tastefully designed, featuring a large flat-screen television, a mini refrigerator, and an overall premium feel that is rare at this price point. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautifully maintained swimming pool, which is surrounded by lush greenery and thoughtfully landscaped plants. While falling leaves are natural due to the abundance of trees and foliage, the staff ensures the pool is cleaned whenever guests inform the reception of their intent to use it—a level of attentiveness we greatly appreciated. We also enjoyed having breakfast in the veranda area located just outside our room. It’s a peaceful space equipped with a ceiling fan to keep the temperature comfortable, making it a lovely way to start the day. The breakfast itself was reasonably priced at ₱220, inclusive of coffee or tea, and was served in a relaxed, garden-inspired setting. With plenty of rooms available, this hotel is ideal not just for leisure stays but also for group bookings or small events. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to travelers looking for aesthetically pleasing surroundings, comfortable accommodations, and excellent value for money.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The café also made good food!

We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, the waiting area had a fish tank that was extremely dirty, and the receptionists were more interested in chatting with each other than in welcoming guests.||The room itself was in unacceptable condition – dirt everywhere and millions of ants crawling around, including on the bed! The bathroom towels were filthy, and we didn't even dare to eat at the hotel given the state of hygiene.||Though we were booked for several nights, we left after just one. This hotel is in desperate need of renovation, a deep clean, and proper staff training.

Pros Only location, as it's near government complex and some food eateries. Cons...with photo attached 1. Very old place, and it seems not taken care of 2. Tv doesn't work 3. No brush ,paste, hot water machine 4. Small room and noisy, you can clearly hear all footsteps shouting kids whole night. 5. Swimming pool not usable condition. Very dirty. So, overall, 2500 pesos for the standered room, and it's not worth it. IF only you need to spend 1 night just to sleep and go, then you might consider.
