Ferns by Kate’s is an absolute food paradise in Palolem! The food is authentic Goan at its best with no readymade stuff, just homely ground masalas that bring real flavor. We had Pork Amsol, Beef Chilly Fry, and my all-time favorite, Beef Tongue all cooked to perfection. The Pina Colada was amazing, and the Caramel Custard sealed the deal. Katty, the owner is the sweetest and made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back for dinner this place is a must-visit!

Excellent place. We had Chicken cafreal, kadai paneer, plain rotis and butter rotis for lunch. We paid 1150. Enjoyed the food as well as the ambience.

We were looking for an AC restaurant and came across Fern's by Kate — a delightful find! The food had a lovely homemade taste, and the service was warm and welcoming. It’s slightly on the expensive side, possibly due to the air-conditioned setting, but totally worth it. You’ll definitely enjoy the Goan delicacies served here. A cozy spot for a relaxed and flavourful meal.

I dont know about food because I haven't tasted their food. But I would like to speak about their accomodation. Firstly price of the room is high, but I feel to put money if I really like it. But even though I took the room at high price, room is havimg these problems 1. Ac not working 2. Geyser is not working 3. Bathroom water electric shock . Finally we couldnt use bathroom also properly. I suggest think before you stay here.

Had a great meal at Fern's by Kate's! We tried the Veg Xacuti and Veg Caldin with roti and rice, and my friends loved their King Fish Thali. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in Palolem. The restaurant is also part of Kate's Beach Cottages, which offer clean and comfortable accommodations.
