The ambience is perfect for a romantic dinner for a couple and it also is a perfect place for a family to in. It has a lot of greenery which makes it very pleasurable and scenic to view. We like the food and also the welcome drinks. Kids also had a good time.

Ferns by Kate’s is an absolute food paradise in Palolem! The food is authentic Goan at its best with no readymade stuff, just homely ground masalas that bring real flavor. We had Pork Amsol, Beef Chilly Fry, and my all-time favorite, Beef Tongue all cooked to perfection. The Pina Colada was amazing, and the Caramel Custard sealed the deal. Katty, the owner is the sweetest and made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back for dinner this place is a must-visit!

I visited this restaurant quite close to their closing time, but to my surprise, the owner and staff were extremely kind and accommodating. They kept the kitchen open just for us and made sure we were served with the same warmth and attention as any regular customer. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, and the service was outstanding — everyone was humble, patient, and genuinely hospitable. It’s rare to find such dedication and customer care these days. Truly appreciate their effort and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and even better service!

Excellent place. We had Chicken cafreal, kadai paneer, plain rotis and butter rotis for lunch. We paid 1150. Enjoyed the food as well as the ambience.

Such a lovely place! The food at Fern’s by Kate’s was fresh and full of flavor, proper Goan taste. Kate and Jack made us feel so welcome, almost like visiting family. The vibe is calm and cozy, away from the busy beach. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in Palolem – I’ll be coming back for sure.
