The Ferrari Store in the Milan Galleria is pure chaos in the best way. It’s packed wall-to-wall with fans, merch, and energy, and yes, I actually saw the Ferrari F1 Team Principal, Fred Vasseur, while I was there. For context, the team principal is basically the boss of the Formula 1 team. He runs race strategy, manages drivers and engineers, and makes the big calls on and off the track. Seeing him casually walk through the store was pretty surreal.
The store itself is awesome. There’s a full-on race car hanging from the ceiling, tons of scale model cars, and gear everywhere. Hats, jackets, shirts, shoes, you name it. It’s crowded, but the staff somehow keeps things moving. One associate helped us and was incredibly attentive, bringing item after item straight to a fitting room so we didn’t have to fight the floor traffic.
The best part was that she completely bypassed the massive checkout line and rang us up separately, which felt like a small miracle in that crowd. We grabbed a couple of shirts and a hat, and later were able to handle the VAT refund, which made it even better.
It’s loud, busy, and borderline overwhelming, but if you like Ferrari even a little, it’s a must-stop. Between the atmosphere, the service, and randomly spotting F1 leadership, it felt less like shopping and more like an experience.
