Ferret Vigne Chambres d'hôtes au Cap Ferret

What a beautiful little hideaway in a quiet residential location on Cap Ferret.The young lady from Alsace who greeted us and served our breakfast was charming.The room was well appointed with a quiet and effective air conditioning, very comfortable double bed and perfect pillows! The icing on the cake was the delicious breakfast with silver service and delightful chinaware. 24 euros may sound a lot but its worth every centime for the experience. Freshly baked croissants, chocolatines and other pastries. Large fresh local fruit salad with home made natural yogurts . A variety of breads with local jams and honey. All washed down with a couple of freshly ground coffees.|When I got home I realised that I had left one of a pair of expensive leather flip flops in our room. I contacted Cecile and she posted the shoe back to me in the UK. I asked her to charge me for her time in doing so but she would only accept reimbursement for the postage. Now that’s customer service!

We had the pleasure of staying at Ferret Vigne for 2 days and loved it! The location is great (quite street, close to beaches and the bicycle trail), the rooms are lovely and very clean, the pool and garden are beautiful (and because the are only 3 rooms, it felt if it was our private pool 😎) and a great breakfast. On top of all of this Cecile is a very friendly and forthcoming host that gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Even called the restaurants to make reservations for us. A Wonderful place to stay!

Cécile and Jean Philippe have the most beautiful boutique property surrounded by layers of green lush gardens. It made our holiday getaway a wonderful experience. The location is perfect to bike rides exploring Cap Ferret. We loved our room with jacuzzi, sauna and Cécile's stylish decor... down to the excellent breakfast service! The helpfulness and hospitality from our gracious hosts enhanced the experience. We highly recommend this beautful oasis in Cap Ferret!

What a delight to find this little tropical paradise nestled amongst the pines! We were warmly greeted by Juliette who showed us around - the lovely swimming pool ( a must after a day on the road), the small breakfast room (we needed it due to the rain on the day we left) and our small, but perfect bedroom.||The bed was large and perfectly comfortable, the room was beautifully appointed, with lots of plugs and cupboards. The bathroom was very small but managed a very large shower and lots of shelf space. The whole place had a designer feel, with flowers, curios, pictures and parquet floors. We were enchanted by the garden and the pool is kept 3’ above air temperature with lovely loungers and out door sofas for relaxing.||Ferret Vigne is about 1.5 km from the town centre so you need bikes or a car to get about. Parking is on the very quiet street.||Although small the Chambre d’hote carries weight around town. We arrived 40 mins late for the Pinasse Cafe and were welcomed like long lost friends, similarly in May Zou they found us a table when the restaurant was packed after mentioning that we were staying at Ferret Vigne. Both restaurants were outstanding.||Finally, Juliette is the star of the show! Always there when you have a question or in need of a suggestion.

What a beautiful place! Cecile was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I was only there for one night but it was really comfortable and well equipped. I don’t have high expectations for breakfast in france as I can’t eat gluten so the usual coffee and croissants isn’t an option, but it was really delicious, eggs, fruit salad, hope made yogurt, and even gluten free crackers. I’ll be back!

From the moment we arrived Cécile was the best host you can ever imagine. She took care of our restaurant reservations and made sure the rental bikes were ready to go, basket filled with towels and ice cold water. The villa itself breathes history of family holidays back in the sixties . Our room was very cosy and the breakfast legendary. Very nice garden and a warm terrace with a lot of privacy. Beautiful pool, top notch Medoc in the honesty bar and a beautiful path leading to the ocean. We will definitely come back to this hidden gem.

We (me and my wife) stayed at Ferret Vigne for four days during our honeymoon.||First: Cécile was very helpful in advance for recommending and booking us nice restaurants around Cap Ferret.||When we arrived she welcomed us friendly and professional, when all the „business“ was done, she gave us a nice bottle of wine and some snacks as a wedding gift, which we enjoyed while watching the sunset over the Biscay Bay which is about a 10 minutes walk from the place.||The breakfast was consistently extremely nice offering fruits, sweets and - of course - baguettes and pastries. One day she made crèpes, which - no doubt - were the best we ever ate :)||The hotel itself if located a bit outside of the Cap Ferret „downtown“ area (about 5 mins by car, 10 mins by bicycle or 20 minutes by foot) but you get tranquillity by the pool and beautifully equipped and well kept garden instead.||Thank you very much for making our honeymoon as great as it was, Cécile. We‘d be back in a heartbeat and highly recommend the place!

A wonderful pied a terre for a long weekend of relaxation.There are easy cycle rides to the village and beach . A good choice of breakfast fare is available and it is served in the garden . The room and adjoining sitting room were very comfortable and well furnished and the air conditioned bedroom was much appreciated . Outside the terrace was shady ,again a positive in the heat of the day .fFantastic customer service .
