We booked a 5-night stay expecting a warm and friendly experience based on the reviews we read. Unfortunately, the owners—who seem to be the heart of the welcoming atmosphere described by others—were not present during our visit. Instead, we were attended to by a person who appeared rushed and focused on serving breakfast as early and fast as possible and “organizing” the room, which disrupted the relaxing experience we had hoped for.||On the second morning, we arrived for breakfast at 9:32 am, well within the stated breakfast hours of 8:30–10:00 am (as clearly outlined in the room instructions). However, the lady greeted us with an unkind remark: “I was picking up breakfast because I thought you weren’t coming.” Her tone was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. The previous morning, she started serving breakfast at 8:15 am, which was outside the stated schedule.||In addition to this, there were several other issues that made our stay uncomfortable. The room was extremely cold, which is particularly unpleasant in winter. The mattress on the bed felt deformed, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The shower alternated unpredictably between very hot and cold, adding to the frustration. The TV remote control didn’t work because the batteries were dead. To top it off, the cleaning lady inexplicably removed the bed cushions, without an explanation, and towels were not replaced in 3 days. All these might be topics that can be fixed immediately, but in our opinion, the host should make sure things work properly before guest are coming.||What should have been a time to unwind became a stressful ordeal of trying to accommodate the cleaning lady schedule and enduring these inconveniences. As a result, we’ve decided to cut our stay 2 nights.||We are genuinely sorry for the owners. However, we strongly recommend they choose a more suitable deputy to manage the property in their absence and address these issues to improve the guest experience.

We couldn’t fault our stay with Marcelo and Denise, a lovely couple who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Our room was spacious with good water pressure in the shower and the air con was super cold which is needed during a Maltese Summer.|The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety, and we appreciated the barista coffees made by Marcelo. |Denise and Marcelo were so friendly, and recommended many restaurants in the local village of Qala. They also advised us on how to get to Comino, and the best local beaches as well.|We loved our time there and would definitely stay again when visiting Gozo

Such a wonderful stay here for 5 nights. Made to feel at home. Everything about the stay was great. Super friendly hosts who welcomed us with open arms like old friends, offered great tips for our stay. Hope to see you again!

On holiday with two teenagers. Ferrieha B & B is just perfect. We stayed four nights, explored Gozo to the full. Each night we returned to our two rooms at Ferrieha which were fantastic, spacious, comfy, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Each morning we woke up to a sumptuous breakfast with lots of choice and plenty to eat. Excellent coffee! The pool was great to return to after a hot day out and about, even in late October. The owners are so welcoming, and so easy to talk to. Thank you. If you're going to Gozo, stay here.

A lovely house, we had a very big room, the owners are very friendly, breakfast was good. The garden with the rather big pool is at the guests’ disposal. We really enjoyed the stay and were treated like friends

We have had a wonderful week staying at Ferrieha with Marcello, Denise, Megan, Fabio and everyone else working hard to keep the place clean and tidy. The view from our panoramic room was absolutely beautiful. Large range of pastries, meats, cake, fruit and eggs for breakfast. Fabio makes the best cappuccino in town! The grand staircase made me feel like royalty! There is a communal fridge and microwave which was useful to store food and drinks. Beers, water, coca cola and wine are also available to purchase for the rooms. I recommend this bed and breakfast and hope to return some time in the future.

Great place to stay in Gozo. Qala is very close to the port with easy public transport to most everywhere on Gozo. Marcello, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful, with good suggestions for exploring the island. Our room was very large and lovely. The beds and pillows were a bit soft to our liking, but might work well for others. Strong shower. Everything very clean. Pool a great plus. Breakfast - served inside or out - was traditional for a B & B. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

We travelled from Ireland to Malta to attend a friends wedding. We then spent the rest of our holiday in Gozo to celebrate our own wedding anniversary. Perfect place. ||||Ferrieha Farmhouse B&B is just absolutely stunning. Owned and run by Marcelo and Denise, who themselves are a lovely couple and make you feel most welcome. The house itself is just beautiful. They are so lucky to call it their home. The stonework and wooden beams are stunning. The staircase alone is a statement piece within itself. It’s instagram worthy. ||||The cleanliness of this farmhouse is impeccable. The room we stayed in was very well equipped, very spacious and breathable and we had more than enough storage. The air con unit was of excellent quality. The windows had insect screens which meant we could keep them open for the entire stay and then at night time we would pull the roller blind. This was perfect. The cleaning lady would always greet you with a smile and a hello. ||||We slept so well. In fact we are both bad sleepers and we have actually slept better during our stay than of that at home. A mattress is unique to every person but for us it was dreamy and we’ve slept the best we have in weeks. We woke feeling so refreshed each morning. The pillows are like little fluffy clouds. Again unique to each individual, but for us both they were perfect. Marcelo would have breakfast ready for guests each morning. Beautifully presented and a great selection to suit everybody. He makes a mean cheese omelette. My personal favourite. ||||The pool area once again is pristine and the scenery was beautiful. During our stay it was really only my husband and I who used this area. Those other couples missed out. We loved having the this area to ourselves as it was chilled and a lovely big big pool to have a dip in and cool off. ||||The shower had great pressure and was of good quality. Denise and Marcelo are very kind and friendly. They put a lot of effort into what they do and it shows. They are easy to speak too and help with tips on restaurants etc. ||||The town itself is so chill. It took us a day or so to figure out bus routes, shop opening times etc but easily figured out. We download the local bus app and Bolt (taxi app) both services worked really well. A €2 bus trip will bring you very far. We visited other towns during our stay. Each day we would pick something new to do. A swim in Ramla Bay and Xlendi Bay are a must. Absolutely stunning and breathtaking. The island itself is just so lovely and the locals are all so friendly. ||||Overall we could not fault our stay in Ferrieha Farmhouse B&B . Our hosts were simply lovely people who work hard and provide a nice service and great value for money. ||||Thank you Denise and Marcelo ||||Glenn and Ian
