Ferron's Jerk Chicken Av. 105 Ejido

Delicious food. We had the chicken and rib combo. The Chicken was juicy and tender and the same for the Ribs. The sides of Mac and cheese, beans and rice, fries and coleslaw did not disappoint. Strawberry margarita was good and rum punch had a good share of alcohol. Food was worth the money and the best meal we’ve had in a while. We love Playa Del Carmen and happy we’ve found one of their many gems. We will be back without question!

We got home Delivery and it was absolutely horrendous. You guys cannot be serious with your recipes. Honestly, I wonder what people from the south or from Jamaica think it’s actually quite offensive to people from those areas. If you do make a mistake and order this food, please take very serious note that the macaroni and cheese that is shown on their website/menu is not what they are going to bring you whatsoever. The chicken batter that they use belongs on fish not on chicken. And the sauces? Is that sweet ketchup with water mixed in it? Please do better especially if you are representing Jamaican food which I can assure everyone that it is not that and even if it’s “not that”? It’s just really bad food. we bought about 1000 pesos worth of food and literally ate about 100 pesos worth of it. The dog wouldn’t even eat it so 900 pesos worth of food in the garbage thanks a lot maybe take more pride in the fact that you have a restaurant? Have some respect for the culture here that is tourism, which is on the decline because of restaurants/Establishments like you who do not care about what they are selling. Do you think people like to burn money? Well they don’t. They also don’t like to eat terrible food so figure it out.

The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because the place it’s a little too small and the chairs as well and is warm (only 1 AC out of 2 was on). But the food was pretty good, good portions, tasty and fresh.

A bit far inside the city, it's high quality food and tasty. Extra delivery for 30 pesos, kinda worth it. It's what I consider to be a hidden gem in Playa del Carmen . Excellent value price ratio.

Wonderfully located spot with awesome music and tremendous food. Staff is friendly and attentive. Bathrooms are clean and well functioning. Vegetarian? The cole slaw, bread, seasoned fries and corn were off the chain. Meat eater? Highly recommend the jerk chicken plate. Can’t wait to come back on my next trip to try Mac n cheese as well and the fried chicken.

The meal itself was authentic. Jamaican jerk chicken just like I use to eat back in Negril. Totally worth a try. Service was quick and the waiters spoke english as well.

Delicious jerk chicken, the sauce is a little spicy, you can order it on the side if you prefer. The coleslaw was a big portion and very tasty. Very friendly service accompanied by some soft reggae music. Go check them out!
