We are here on a weekday, wasn’t busy.
Ordered jerk chicken, fried chicken, Mac and cheese, plantains, beef patties and garlic bread.
The jerk chicken was fall off the bone good, the skin had an amazing flavor to it, didn’t even need any sauce. Best jerk chicken I’ve ever had!
You’d be hard pressed to find fried chicken in PDC but this right here was outstanding, crispy and flavorful on the inside.
The plantains are served with this garlicky sour cream, unconventional but it works.
If you’re ordering the beef patty I’ll warn you it’s not the traditional style it’s made of like a masa which is real greasy and kind of tough, we weren’t a fan.
I would also skip the Mac and cheese. If you ever had southern baked Mac you’ll consider this to taste like Kraft Blue box Mac.
Side bar- they make the most amazing frozen passion fruit margaritas.
The service was excellent, food came out fast and we spent about $65 USD.
Overall a great gem.
