Saw Mt. Joy here back in July 2022 and it’s one of my favorite concerts to date! The view was incredible. I appreciated the shuttle to the location from the local school so parking wasn’t a worry. You could bring in your own food & drinks but they also had a selection of wine and beer to choose from, as well as some food options. I have been watching the emails when new acts are announced each year because I’d love to go back. Please bring back more indie bands like Mt. Joy & The Moss!

Bring your own chairs, booze, and food. Pick your seat . Great venue. Always have a good seat even if you show up later than normal. Just remember soft sided coolers and no glass. Tons of food and drink are available once you get there.

We went and saw Jason Marantz perform. It was special for us because I proposed to my wife 12 years earlier when Jason played at the Gorge in George, Wa.. It was a great show. Very nice park facility.

My first time here, I was very impressed. You can bring your own food and alcoholic beverages which I’d probably suggest. Two white claws and two shots I paid close to 50 bucks with a tip! The venue is wonderful! If you plan on bringing a blanket to sit on be sure to get there early so you can get a good visual of the stage!

Attended the Michael Franti midday concert. Family loved their first festival experience. The festival at Sandpoint does an amazing job of the venue, vibe and for this event, a great job of accommodating families. Loved it and we will be back again!

Great little venue. Make sure you bring a chair and a soft cooler for all your goodies. Went to see Brit Floyd there. Everyone was in good spirits. The food lines weren't bad either if you want some beer or vendor food. Security was respectful. Nice place to spend a summer evening.

Great Venue, clean, spacious, organized. And a week filled with an amazing line up of concerts across several genres. Being a forever 80’s girl, seeing the Violent Femmes was AWESOME!!

It is so sad that volunteers since 1983 which have brought the festival to where it is now are being disrespected. After 15 years of being security the festival management disrespected and treated us as if we were in the army to be ordered around and breaking promises to us. Then ordered to do what was ordered or leave. After 15 years we left. The volunteer security was carrying guns and handcuffs, what could go wrong there? Also speaking of disrespect and breaking promises, since 1983 the artists who won the cover of the festival were promised tickets for life until last season. The new management took those tickets and promises. No disrespect there. The management should be grateful for those backs upon which they are standing. It is shameful. At least we know we had the respect of rod Crawford and Russell Lacey. Never thought it would end like this. The management now we’re kids when us and many others were working hard to make the festival a success. Shameful! I know I will never volunteer again and future volunteers watch your back Laurie Reid

Yelp
The first few I went to were wonderful. General admission is always nerve wracking but it worked out fine. In my past experience the venue opened early, so there was a fairly short line to get in and then a longer wait inside, seated and comfortable. Last year was the first time for me (although now I realize from other comments that it has happened in previous years, so maybe it depends on the show?) where they didn't open the doors until right before show time, so the outside wait-time and the line to get in were outrageous - like probably 2000+ people long. Throw in a handful of line-minding apparatchiks fecklessly trying to keep the snaking queue shape in its snaking shape in order to make sure the people at the back definitely had to walk as far as possible, which could not have been less necessary or more absurd. On top of that, and on top of other things that have been banned, rolling and hard-sided coolers have now been banned. Definitely no longer worth it. Still some great acts though.

Yelp
Best event of the year in Sandpoint. The Festival at Sandpoint has an unbelievable caliber of musicians for rural North Idaho. The location is walkable from anywhere downtown and you can't beat being by the lake. It's a very comfortable and friendly venue.

Yelp
My favorite Sandpoint tradition!! There's nothing like the excitement in town during festival season. It's like a big family reunion - the atmosphere is unlike any other. Where else are you still able to bring your own chairs and blankets for seating - and pack a picnic and cooler full of drinks?! This is a hidden gem that's only surviving because of the support of our small town. Can't wait for this summer!

Yelp
Always the best music and great atmosphere! I love the festival at sandpoint, it's always a great place for the community to get together and support local business and restaurants.

Yelp
Being a native of the Sandpoint area, I purchased 3 tickets in 2019 for a Cool and the Gang for my sister's 60th birthday. Our tickets were in the "low chair" area. Before the concert started a big rain storm moved in and the concert was cancelled. I was told and even received vouchers to attend another concert due to the rain out. Of course in 2020 the season was cancelled due to CoVid. I called to find out how they were handling this situation. I was told no refund or exchange would be honored. I was told that the Festival still had their expenses to cover for that evening and the lady (Dyno) that issued vouchers to a different concert due to the rain out, was not authorized to give the vouchers out. This ends up being my problem as a the consumer. Essentially I paid for nothing and received nothing. Not even a $20 credit for other tickets or $10 coffee card or an apology. SUPER SAD about this situation and disappointed.

Yelp
Ticket prices are ridiculous - head east to see ZZ Top as below: http://innsbrookafterhours.com/concert-schedule/zz-top/

Yelp
What a disappointment in tonight's show. We weren't the only people to leave early. And we don't even blame Jake Owen, the "headliner." Apparently whoever is in charge of selecting the artists never saw one of his shows. And then there's the price ... Whatever happened to a reasonable ticket price? Now it's $84! Unbelievable. Could imagine paying that much for a good act...which this was NOT! We came from out of town so already have hotel, food costs...not sure if we'll ever be back. Unless, of course, the festival people start bringing in good acts again like they used to. We can only hope.

Yelp
This is the first time I've ever been to the festival to see a concert and it was ZZ Top i& IT WAS GREAT . BUT I must say whomever created the lines that you have 2 get thru to War Memorial Field was a TOTAL JOKE In all the concerts I've been to I have never had to wait that long to be able to go find a seat and enjoy the show they truly need to get their act together. Everyone was already getting tired just waiting in the long lines it took over an hour and a half just to get to the front gate totally ridiculous. I don't think I'll go back tickets are expensive I personally rather drive to Spokane Washington to see concerts . At least at the arena they know how to get people through the gates same with Northern Quest Casino we saw John Fogerty and we got to our seats less than 15 minutes. I also left a half an hour early so there wouldn't be a ton of people going out the front gate at the same time.

Yelp
We have been attending music festivals for over 25 years, including the Festival at Sandpoint for the last 5 years and last night at the Vince Gill show was the only time we had a negative experience. Being sold out we knew that sitting space would be limited, but we also knew how gracious and open, until last night, the fans would be. We found a space that was about 20 feet in diameter with around 6 people sitting in a circle with a large space in the middle. I asked if we could sit on the outside in a "front to back" formation only to have the women say "no." The gentleman in front offered us a spot next to him and we put our second chair right up against mine although some of it was within the protected domain of the group behind us. All night long the lady directly my wife would kick her chair, makes rude comments, and overall created a miserable experience for my wife and I. Aside from this one experience the Festival has always been something we look forward to. Great music in a high school football field with the Osprey nests overhead providing an additional show.
