This was a great experience. You need to take a train out of Lucerne, but the walk to the fort is picturesque. Inside, you will spend about an hour and the staff are very helpful. You even get to position an artillery gun.

Fun day trip from Lucerne with amazing views along the way. Tour was fantastic and included English audio guides. Very interactive - can aim a cannon and even wear the Swiss soldier uniforms. Also appreciated the modern touch with day-glow signage and LED projections. If you get the Swiss Rail Pass this museum is free. A must see regardless!

Great experience for WW2 and Cold War lovers. They have free audio guides in English that are included in the price. Signs are also in English. This ticket also gives you admission to two other museums in town. Paid parking nearby. Would recommend 2 hours to visit.
